Friends, I think you people don't understand why i posted such a question , This just because a lot of students have to use it in our college labs. These colleges are using it because they need to do graphics programs in c++ ,most of the college staff are familiar with TC's graphics.h and are unaware(or not want to ) of other graphics libraries like allegro,cimg,etc.Till the last semester we were doing all our lab programming in linux but we just changed to XP only for doing some graphics programming in TC++. So I thought if I made a post like this lot of students will get an exposure to modern graphics libraries from this mailing list and we could throw out outdated TC++ form colleges. Hi friends, I use debian squeeze in my pc.Everything was working smoothly in my system, i don't know what happened, yesterday onwards i am not able connect to internet. We use a belkin54g router to share internet when i try to ping the router it says the host is unreachable. I checked the ip and i found that my ip was not set, so i manually set the ip as follows. #sudo ifconfig eth0 192.168.2.3 netmask 255.255.255.0 default 192.168.2.1 up Now i found that the ip is set and i can ping the router.But i don't know what to do to connect to internet. I still cannot access the router setup page from my pc.But I have no problem in windows and my roommates can access internet from their laptops. So please please help me to solve this problem.
