On the RBI website there is a page that links to a list of all
NEFT-enabled bank branches in India:
. Unfortunately, this is in an
Excel spreadsheet. If you could convince the people who host it to put
it up as an OpenDocument Spreadsheet you'd make my day. The file is 16
MB as XLS and a small fraction of that as an ODS. If you managed that,
it would make my day. I mean, sure, it doesn't bother me at all here at
home where it downloads in less than a minute, but I won't even give it
a shot on my phone.

Good luck,

I dont think this will happen if we use open file formats now and always

[Ilugc] FOSS Day Celebration at SASTRA University

2010-03-10 Thread Sri Ram
Dear Friends,

A grand celebration of FOSS Day (S-FOSS'10) at SASTRA University -
Kumbakonam Campus was held on March 8th, 2010. During these celebration,
many Open Source Related Events and Competitions are conducted. FOSS
Magazine (S-FOSS Community Edition) was released on that day. It was fully
organised by the students(all branches).

Mr.S.Baskar, LinuXpert Systems gave a excellent hands-on training to all
participants. We are very thankful to him for that.

T-Shirts, Caps, DVDs and Certificates are also provided for the
participants.

The total number of participants are around 250. It is a great success to
the S-FOSS Community.

We need more support from other communities also..

I will post more informations and pictures as soon as possible.
