Corrected, thanks. [ilugd] Xv, Mplayer problem on Debian
Hi, I am trying to compile MPlayer on my Debian machine but am running into a problem with the xv video output driver. MPlayer does not detect the Xv extension at all! Checking for Xv ... no Checking for XvMC ... no I cheched whether I had th Xv extension on my machine at all, and it indeed was there. /usr/X11R6/lib/libXv.so.1 /usr/X11R6/lib/libXv.so.1.0 I checked out my XF86Config file, but could not find any section related to configuration of the Xv extension. I checked out the XFree86 log, only to find the following: (II) Loading extension XVideo (II) Loading extension XVideo-MotionCompensation Any solutions to the problem? TIA Nandz. -- http://nandz.blogspot.com http://foodieforlife.blogspot.com ___ ilugd mailinglist -- ilugd@lists.linux-delhi.org http://frodo.hserus.net/mailman/listinfo/ilugd Archives at: http://news.gmane.org/gmane.user-groups.linux.delhi http://www.mail-archive.com/ilugd@lists.linux-delhi.org/ Event: Freedel 2005, 17th 18th September, 2005 - http://freedel.in
Re: [ilugd] Xv, Mplayer problem on Debian
MPlayer does not detect the Xv extension at all! Don't bother - I figured it out - one needs to have the Xv Development package installed as well! Re: [ilugd] Thunderbird is unable to download mails using pop access in Gmail
(cc-ing ILUGD) in infinite wisdom Ramnarayan.K spoke thus On 09/10/2005 11:30 AM: In Gmail web, go to Settings Forwarding and POP. You will see an option When messages are accessed with POP . Set it to archive Gmail's copy. I think that should help just a question - what would archiving mails do ?? thanks ram Not sure what black magic gmail applies, but you can think of it as mark mail read on the gmail webmail. -- Raj ShekharY!IM : lunatech3007 blog : http://rajshekhar.net/blog home : http://rajshekhar.net Disclaimer : http://rajshekhar.net/disclaimer ___ ilugd mailinglist -- ilugd@lists.linux-delhi.org http://frodo.hserus.net/mailman/listinfo/ilugd Archives at: http://news.gmane.org/gmane.user-groups.linux.delhi http://www.mail-archive.com/ilugd@lists.linux-delhi.org/ Event: Freedel 2005, 17th 18th September, 2005 - http://freedel.in
