[ilugd] Please help me in Club bandwidth+Load balancing+ISP Failover

2006-02-07 Thread Sandeep Agarwal
Dear All,

Please help me in building the right solution.

My requirement is:

1st I want to club both ISP bandwidth to get 512kbps.
2nd, In normal condition, it should be in Load balancing.
3rd , In ISP Failover condition, traffic will automatically route to working
ISP.

What I have:

I have the link from two ISP both 256kbps. Both ISP given 8 real IP Pool.
One ISP is through Lease line, terminated at my router CISCO 1841. Output of
this is connected to ETH1
2nd ISP is through Ethernet & connected to ETH2
ETH0 is connected to the Local zone.

What I have done:

Is RHEL with kernel 2.4.21-9EL be OK for this OR any other flavour (Debian /
Mandrake / SUSE etc.) is required?

I have gone through http://www.ssi.bg/~ja/nano.txt AND further
http://www.ssi.bg/~ja/

Is I am on right track? OR there is any other simplest way to achieve this?

Awaiting your valuable suggestion.

Thanking you,
Sandeep Agarwal

(Scheduling workshops in India)

Thank you for your interest in MySQL. We are pleased to inform you that we
are trying to schedule both of our popular 2-day workshops, MySQL
Performance Tuning & Optimization and MySQL 5.0 In Depth Workshop, in India
on the 2nd and/or 3rd week of March. But we need your feedback.

We are trying to decide if the workshops should be conducted in Bangalore
and/or Mumbai. To make this decision, we need your input. The cost of each
of the workshop will be US$200 off our regular price of US$955. So, in
other
words, US$775.

After reading the description of the courses from the links below, please
let us know if:

* You would attend if one of them was held in Mumbai (indicate which
workshop you'd attend)
* You would attend if one of them was held in Bangalore (indicate which
workshop you'd attend)
* You would attend regardless if one of them was held in either Mumbai
or Bangalore (indicated which workshop you'd attend)

To let me know, simply email me at [EMAIL PROTECTED] Your feedback will
help us
make the decision to serve you best.

So, ask yourself these questions.

* Do your applications slow down during busy times?
* Are you having difficulties pinpointing performance bottlenecks?
* Will finding and fixing performance issues take weeks of time and
expertise that you just don't have?
* Do you know, how to take most out of the new 5.0 features?

Then these Performance Tuning & Optimization Workshop and MySQL 5.0 In
Depth
Workshop are for you! You will get expert insight and learn best practices
to help you improve performance and scalability and to take advantage of
the
MySQL 5.0 to the fullest!

What You Will Learn

* MySQL Internals
* Storage Engine Selection
* Query Optimization
* Index Tuning Caching and Buffer Tuning
* Hot Spot and Bottleneck Identification
* MySQL 5.0 new features

Who Should Attend

* All database developers who are responsible for database design,
modeling, and architecture
* All DBAs who are responsible for the performance and health of
production databases

Once again, please let me know at [EMAIL PROTECTED] if during the 2nd and/or
3rd
week of March:

* You would attend if one of the workshops was held in Mumbai (indicate
which workshop you'd attend)
* You would attend if one of the workshops was held in Bangalore
(indicate which workshop you'd attend)
* You would attend regardless if one of the workshops was held in
either
Mumbai or Bangalore (indicate which workshop you'd attend)

Also, if you would like information regarding commercial licensing, support
services, consulting, MySQL Users Conference or other training options feel
