BS!
I use gmail and keep snipping to minimize. Workmen have to be aware of
their tools. One tool fits all is bad approach.

I think it is because he uses gmail.
gmail does all the work for you so there is less reason for gmail users to
be judicious.
i did not know there was that much quoted text as gmail automagically hid it

Beware of one-click-installations and automated scripts (like Fantastico).
Don't use them even if the host provides them.
These scripts break often, and official support (like #drupal-support) don't

help you when it goes bad. A self-configured installation is better (which
is itself
quite easy now).

In case you've already installed the modules and configured them,
just upload the files to your host. Take a dump of your database and
import it on the host (using phpMyAdmin etc.).

can setup a temporary account (one at a time) for few hours in the

Above all default squid installation will not allow such persistent
connection required by p2p softwares

best will be applying ipdatbe chaining at squid and bypass the proxy
for the particular ip where you want to use p2p software

[ilugd] Option in Open source like Go Global / Citrix / Windows Terminal Services

2007-10-16 Thread rajnish kumar
Dear Friends
We are running web based ERP at remote location
through the openvpn setup. But We can't speed up our appliation at
clinet end. As i have found some solution like GO GLOBAL --- Bsically
what it is ?
GO-Global is the ideal server-based computing solution. Utilizing
advanced server-based technology and near-zero-footprint clients,
GO-Global publishes existing applications without the need to modify a
single line of code. And there's no need for complex, costly solutions
such as Citrix MetaFrame or Windows Terminal Services. GO-Global is
the instant application publishing and Web-enabling solution that
retains 100% of your application's features, functions and product
branding.

So could any one suggest me we have any othe option in open source
like Go Global/Citrix or Windows Terminal services.
