Re: [ilugd] Some Trainings/Support In Open OS/Softwares
Dear Sir I am really sorry not to respond in time. I am very much thankful to all of you for taking your valuable time to discuss the topic. This has given us very much needed confidence to explore FOSS. Mr Sudhir Gandotra is in touch with so many associations of Punjab including ACTA and conducted a seminar on installation/manage of Linux on Laptop/Desktop (non commercial). Our members have got confidence in offering FOSS to end customers. The complete event will be shared with the community later on. I am running Ubuntu 12.10 on my laptop just after the seminar. What I see, there is a lot to be done for FOSS. It has to come out from LAB, we didn't have any expert in our association, still we are sharing our experience with others and providing whatever solution one gets. Thanks regards Sanjay Gupta M-9814084901 * I am available for any discussion on this topic. I believe, there is no emergency now, as ban (on M$ products) is no more there. And that's how the Linux/Unix and hundreds of thousands of other FLOSS (Free/Libre Open Source Software) projects were started. The vibrant community or volunteers behind these leave no stone unturned to make this kind of software useful for an average user, but the commercial users pay a little attention to give back to the community, volunteers and, or FLOSS projects. -- Balwinder S bdheeman Dheeman (http://werc.homelinux.net/contact/) ___ Ilugd mailing list Ilugd@lists.linux-delhi.org http://frodo.hserus.net/mailman/listinfo/ilugd
