and is probably back to his hometown by now.

We can move discussion on the organisation details off the list - though it
will be a challenge to manage such a large event.

In short, I will probably have to move the Mozilla event to an auditorium
or the lawns. Will post final details after off-list discussion with the
others involved.

Are you really proposing a full-day event? You should
have made that clearer a lot sooner.

In that case, we will need to move the other items out
of the schedule. We would need to organise things like
water, lunch, and decide how to pay for them. I am also
not sure that there will be sufficient attendance at such
short notice.

afaik this was a full blown event extending two days with around 400
people turning up my questions to Kinshuk are

1) Are we going to continue with the same schedule
2) if we are then in that case  do we have any plan as  how we  are

I think that the lab we used last time should be fine. Air-
conditioning should not be an issue as it should be getting
cooler by then. Not sure what the current state of ILUG-D
finances are, but we ought to be able to pay for snakes.

Since there seem to be a few people interested in this talk (I'm 
pleased!), I feel I should mention the scope - I'm no expert
on any of these technologies, but I've been playing with them for a few 
years and I feel I can share some experiences.
Hopefully I can help others learn from my experiments and mistakes, but 
those who expect to learn how to manage 100-node clusters will likely be 
disappointed.

functional.

requirements after coordinating offline with each of the above (and any

One room for ~20
The lawns outside - can take more, but since the sun is still sharp, if you

cubicles.which does not make for cosy conversation. Can be used for
tutorials.

Samosas/Bread pakoras and Nimbu Pani/Chai on the housethough since we
have a potential tourist attraction like THE Taj - maybe the ILUG-D
treasurer should turn up with the cheque book?

the next meetup is scheduled for 13 October 2012. I have created a page on
the wiki for the same

shall update the details as and when they get finalized through discussions
on the mailing list.

The preferable location is JNU, if Prof Andrews is willing to be the
localhost again.

As we know that

of some logistics issues that surfaced at Jamia. Is it possible to
have a full day event comprising of sessions from mozcamp that could not
take place in the last run - something on the lines of a combined ILUG-D
meet + Mozcamp Delhi?
