Re: Remote acess question

2020-03-23 Thread Jim Emery
Hi Bill,

Late to the conversations. According to TeamViewer
(https://community.teamviewer.com/t5/Knowledge-Base/Which-operating-systems-are-supported/ta-p/24141#toc-hId-442705294

),
your Dad’s computer can run TeamViewer 10 - 13. Do you know what version he
has now? You can download previous versions of TeamViewer here:

https://www.teamviewer.com/en-us/download/previous-versions/

If he does not have TeamViewer 13, it might be worth giving that a try to see
if it compatible with your version of TeamViewer running on 10.15.3.

Apologies if this is repeating information already discussed. Cheers.

Jim

Hi Bill,

Even though you haven't stated if he has the T.V. software installed, it
sounds like Team Viewer is not supporting 10.5 anymore. I'd reach out to
the T.V. support directly and query them about it. Team Viewer Support

Does your father currently have TeamViewer installed on 10.5? If you're
attempting to install, older versions of the application can be found at

Remote acess question

2020-03-22 Thread William Spencer
Hi there: I’ve been using TeamViewer to access my father’s computer but he is
on 10.10.5 and I am as shown below. TeamViewer tells me that his version is too
old but he can’t upgrade because of the OS that his machine is stuck on (a Mini
from some years back). Apparently there’s a Chrome extension that does the same
thing: anyone here know about it? Or is TeamViewer still the way to go but how
do I get around the outdated-version block?

Thanks in advance! Bill
