Re: [info-tech] Imation drive for mac

2004-03-04 Thread neyb
I know Imation is a brand name, but what type of disk/media does it use? Is
this one of the drives that the first iMacs used as an external drive? If that
is the case, we have two of them. Send the disk to me at North Kossuth. You
could give it to our Spanish teacher who lives in West Bend. She can get it to
me, I'll copy it to a Zip, and send it back.

[info-tech] Imation drive for mac

2004-03-04 Thread Donna Bonnstetter
Do any of you have an external Imation drive for a mac? We have one the
secretary used to back up her JMC data for 200-2001. Now she wants to
burn that data onto a CD, but the drive doesn't work so she can't read
it. If any of you have a drive that might read her disk, we could send
you the disk and have you save to a zip disk,
burn it on a CD or help me think of another solution.
Thanks.

[info-tech] Fw: Sophos Anti-Virus IDE alert: W32/Bagle-Zip

2004-03-04 Thread Scott Fosseen
Just an FYI. Sophos has a way to detect the password protected zip file.
The schools that are using us to provide email service are now protected.
If you are running Sophos verify that you have the IDE file listed below.
