[Inkscape-translator] Plurals for 0.92
I'm trying to push the Polish translation for 0.92 and I have noticed a few places where plurals would make sense. This is one such example in export.cpp prog_dlg = create_progress_dialog(Glib::ustring::compose(_("Exporting %1 files"), num)); prog_dlg->set_data("exportPanel", this); setExporting(true, Glib::ustring::compose(_("Exporting %1 files"), num)); I could change the code and push it into the branch but I wonder if it's a little late. The ones I added were four strings in panel.cpp that show up in the popup menu for swatch panels (Shape, Tall, Square and Wide). Shape refers to the desired shape for the swatches. Currently the behavior had been to try to be square, but to allow for user choice in the bottom panel, etc. a setting on the Tall range would make the swatch taller than it is wide. Jon, How do you plan the behaviour if there palette is really small (few colours). It seems that at the moment the colours have to occupy the entire visible space of the control so if there are very few (and constrained to squares) short palettes always tend to be big. [Inkscape-translator] New open group for Polish translation.
Hello! As there are more people actively working on the Polish translation and in an effort to improve Polish translation of Inkscape and facilitate contact among all people interested and involved in the process I have created a new public group: [EMAIL PROTECTED] It is open to everyone to subscribe and join should they wish so. You can also find the group at the following address: Group home page: http://groups.google.com/group/inscape-translation-pl Through the use of this group all decisions taken regarding translation will hopefully become transparent and easily accessible for the entire community. -- Marcin Floryan http://marcin.floryan.pl/ Please consider the environment before printing this email. - This SF.net email is sponsored by: Microsoft Defy all challenges. Sincerley, Uwe Uwe, The phrases come from verbs.cpp source file and if you use the updated inkspace.pot file and update the de.po against this catalogue (available here: ) you should see there relevant string to translate. (Please refer to https://bugs.launchpad.net/inkscape/+bug/179209) Though the above mentioned bug may still prevent those tooltips from showing properly.
