[Inkscape-translator] Plurals for 0.92
I'm trying to push the Polish translation for 0.92 and I have noticed a few places where plurals would make sense. This is one such example in export.cpp prog_dlg = create_progress_dialog(Glib::ustring::compose(_("Exporting %1 files"), num)); prog_dlg->set_data("exportPanel", this); setExporting(true, Glib::ustring::compose(_("Exporting %1 files"), num)); I could change the code and push it into the branch but I wonder if it's a little late. Should I fix it in master instead or leave it out as a minor thing? [Inkscape-translator] Grammar error in web slicer extension.
Hi! Unfortunately I have found a grammar error in the English text for one extensions (web slicer group creation). It says: *Layout Group is only about to help a better code generation (if you need it). To use this, you must to select some \"Slicer rectangles\" first.* It should be either: *Layout Group is only about to help a better code generation (if you need it). To use this, you must select some \"Slicer rectangles\" first.* or: *Layout Group is only about to help a better code generation (if you need it). To use this, you have to select some \"Slicer rectangles\" first.* As we're in string freeze now I will not correct it unless it's OK for everyone to do so. It's not a big thing and I'm sure translations will not have any mistakes so it's really only for English. I bet it can wait for the next version. Not optimized for speed. I just wonder. The translator-credits in the .po file are a bit different from the TRANSLATORS list right now. I think the .po files give room for some more information (see the pl.po) while TRANSLATORS is simply a list of names. I liked the idea of translator-credit to be prepended in the about dialogue. I am not sure either if there are many discrepancies between the two lists, but I suspect there may be some. PS. It seems that at the moment the colours have to occupy the entire visible space of the control so if there are very few (and constrained to squares) short palettes always tend to be big.
