*Job Title:**Physical Data Modeler*

*Location: **Tulsa, OK*

*Duration**: 6+ month(**could go long term or Perm.)*

*Responsibility:*



Physical Data Modeler is responsible for the design and instantiation of
the physical data model, based on the logical data model. This includes
creating the base tables, associative tables, and views, and choosing and
creating all indexes. The Physical Data Modeler uses input from the
Business Information Modeler, the Capacity Planner, the Database
Administrator, and the ETL Consultants. This individual must have the
skills to understand the logical data model as well as the business
requirements. The Physical Data Modeler may be the Lead Consultant on a
project.

• Teradata Data Modeling Experience
• Transportation Modeling Preferred
• Must have team lead experience
• Must have at least 8 years EXP
• Advanced SQL Skills
• ERWIN Application a MUST

Hands on experience building, integrating and delivering Logical and
Physical data models for use in an Inmon data warehouse
In depth knowledge of Inmon enterprise data warehouses design and
implementation
MUST have ERwin experience

Enterprise Data Warehouse (EDW) is a complex Inmon-style data warehouse and
is expected to become the Single Source of Truth for Global and Area systems
throughout the firm.


*2.  High Level Explanation:*

Enterprise Data Warehouse system uses Professional Services Industry data
model as our starting point for our data model customizations.
*3.  Day to day tasks:*

Work with business, source system subject matter experts and consuming
system subject matter experts to customize Professional Services Industry
data model.  In ERwin Data Modeling tool, they will customize Logical and
Physical data models that support the needs of an Inmon-style Enterprise
Data Warehouse.
