I think you are referring to the Mexican station across the border from San Diego. I show them as XEKIT .. I dont include Mexicans in my pages... Tim, I am not excusing the XEs for all of the stuff they do. Not at all, but is it right "our" IBOC is QRMing so many XE's, and the Canadians too. They have done nothing to deserve this. I am sure IBOC hash does not stop at the border. I am surprised the XEs/Cubans are not starting a jamming war. I have heard, it "has" been discussed. While we're at it XESS-620 and XESDD-1030 are both supposed to be directional but they're not. I'm about 80 miles north of San Francisco. During the day they are kinda audible, but just before sunset (pattern change?)they start smokin' in. The engineering parameters for this station are rather, um... creative. They ID a lot more often these days, but only in Spanish. Tim, According to 1700 Tecate's CE, Bill Lipis, they are ND and 10 KW fulltime, but has a great tx location.
