Being a
Danish revert to Islam I have been following the media coverage lately and I
think that it would be safe to say that there has been no reports to the extend
that the email suggests. However, recently libraries have been reporting about a
substantial growing interest in books about Islam.

50 Denmarkers Accepted
IslamNow for a good piece of news! The known scholar and researcher
in IslamicAffairs, Amir Naif Bin Abdel Aziz, yesterday February 8th, on
Majd TVchannel said that since the publication of the blasphemous
cartoons inDenmark, more than 50 Denmarkers have embraced Islam. Subhan
Allah. Theypublished the cartoons to turn people away from Islam and
instead theyinvoked Denmarkers curiosity. Denmarkers wanted to know who
Muhammad PBUH was, when they say millions of Muslims protesting and caring
about theissue so intensely. And Al Hamdullah. You never know where the
khair is...Please send this piece of info to everyone you know
so it can make iteasier on them to boycott Danish products and products
and all theirculprits that try to slander Islam. Also continue to
boycott Danish and culprits products. You can find outwhich country a
product originates by looking at the bar code at thebottom of the
product. The bar code is bunch of black and white lines witha number
underneath which allows for electronic sorting and recognition. The first
3 numbers from the left are the country code. For example,Israel

The legacy of Islam in the Philippines

(Speech delivered by Former Senator SANTANINA T. RASUL during the
"Sister of Peace Ceremony, Women Breaking Barriers for Peace" sponsored by
the Women's Federation for World Peace at the Manila Hotel on February 12,
  1999.)
FOR the past six years, we have staged the International Eidul Fitri
Festival after the fast of Ramadan as a vehicle to educate our fellow
Filipinos on the culture of the Muslims.
We would like to take this opportunity to invite those of you who
have time to visit the Cultural Exhibit and Bazaar which opens on Feb. 15
and ends with a gala presentation on Feb. 21, 1999 in the evening at the
Glorietta, Ayala Center, Makati City. The festival will showcase the art,
artifacts, culture of the five major Filipino Muslim groups the Sama,
Tausug, Yakan, Maranaw, and Maguindanaon and that of the Muslim
  Countries.
When the government embarked on its peace efforts to bring to the
negotiating table the MNLF to ensure a real and lasting peace in Mindanao,
we felt that there was a need for a complementary effort to promote better
understanding between Muslims and non-Muslims in a more pleasurable
manner: by presenting the culture, history and artifacts of Filipino
Muslims as well as those from across the seas as a step towards better
understanding of Muslim culture and thereby help accelerate the promotion
  of peace and national unity.

  Negative image
While there has been a slight improvement in the image of Muslims, it
is a fact that the general impression of Muslims remains negative: that of
terrorists, kidnappers, juramentados, smugglers, etc. Very little was
known about their rich culture and history which have become part of the
cultural heritage of the Filipinos. In fact, not much has changed by way
of impression of Muslims since my college days.
Media has perpetuated that negative image whenever they refer to
criminals as Muslims although they never refer to Christian criminals as
  Christians.
We believe that we cannot wait for the system to correct itself for
the future. A writer once said:
"You can choose to be blind to what transpires in your midst and see
only the glory that was Greece and the grandeur that was Rome; or you can
choose to stare it in the face and help carve the glory of your place and
  the grandeur of your time"

  The Muslim culture
We have chosen to stare the problem in the eye and this is the reason
why for the past six years and up to now we have staged the International
Eidul Fitri Festival as a vehicle for removing the cobwebs of prejudice
born out of ignorance of Islam and the Muslim Culture.
This is also the reason why for the fast 31 years we have engaged in
literacy promotion especially among the cultural minority and Muslim areas
through the Magbassa Kita Literacy project. Illiteracy breeds ignorance
  and ignorance breeds anti-social tendencies.
Those who do not know any better constitute a factor in a culture of
conflict and violence which breed social instability. We launched
"Magbassa Kita" not just for literacy learning but also to demolish the
psychological barriers to the attainment of mutual understanding, national
  unity and peace.

  Brief history
To be able to understand, the Muslims of the Philippines and their
culture one has to understand their history. This I will do briefly.

Islam came to the Philippines around the 13th century, about two
hundred years before the advent of Christianity in this country in 1521.
The early centuries of Islam in the Philippines were marked by the gradual
spread of the faith in the southern region especially in the areas
represented today by Tawi-Tawi, Sulu, Basilan, Maguindanao, Cotabato and
  Lanao.
The phenomenal growth of the faith had become quite evident by the
16th century when a Muslim kingdom emerged in what is now Manila as the
focus of political power in Luzon.
But more important to note is the historical fact that the Islamic
process in these early centuries saw the development of dynamic
interaction between inhabitants and communities in the archipelago
especially in matters of trade and commerce.
The economic activities of the period had become so encouraging that
foreign trade between the southern island and the outside world, including
  the west, was also stimulated.

[IslamCity] DENMARK AWARDS SPECIAL PRIZE FOR INSULTING RASULULLAH (S.A.W.)

2006-02-27 Thread assalamu_alaikum_1427
Assalamu aleikum.

Jyllands-Posten's acceptance of Denmark's Victor Prize proves how
worthless is their so-called "apology".

Now let no one be deceived.

Cartoon-newspaper wins prize
AFP

http://www.news24.com/News24/World/News/0,,2-10-1462_1887943,00.html

Copenhagen - Danish newspaper Jyllands-Posten, which angered the
Muslim world by publishing cartoons of Prophet Muhammad last year, has
won a Danish critical journalism award for its initiative, the jury said.

Denmark's largest daily was honoured with the Victor Prize for "having
opened everyone's eyes by showing how easy it is to introduce cracks
in freedom of expression and how so-called political correctness is
infiltrating what we believe to be inalienable rights," Hans Engell,
the editor of tabloid Ekstra Bladet which awards the prize, said
during a prize ceremony in Copenhagen late on Thursday.

The Victor Prize, named for the late editor-in-chief of Ekstra Bladet
Victor Andreasen, was handed to Jyllands-Posten's editor Carsten Juste.

"This prize is awarded to Jyllands-Posten for its adamant defence for
months of freedom of expression, which is under threat," Engell told AFP.

Freedom of expression

"Jyllands-Posten only did its duty: exercise its right to freedom of
expression," he added.

Juste, guarded by two secret service bodyguards, noted "how fragile
freedom of expression is" as he accepted the award, his newspaper
reported.

The 12 drawings of Muhammad, which first appeared in Jyllands-Posten
last September, have sparked violent protests in Muslim countries
against Denmark especially, as well as against other European
countries where the cartoons have since been reprinted.

Islam considers any image of the prophet blasphemous.

Both the newspaper and Danish Prime Minister Anders Fogh Rasmussen
have repeatedly refused to apologize for the publication of the
cartoons, insisting that freedom of expression is a fundamental right
in Denmark.

[IslamCity] THE CORRECT TIME FOR FRIDAY PRAYER

2006-02-27 Thread ***Deep_thought***

THE CORRECT TIME FOR FRIDAY PRAYER      Introduction: Many questions are being raised in the local community as well as in other parts of the country regarding the performance of Zuhr prayer and Friday Prayer before Zawaal. (A short period of time during which the sun passes over the meridian, marked on earth by the shortening of a person’s shadow to its minimum.) The Islamic Sharia Council of California discussed this subject, and appointed Dr. Omar Afzal of Ithaca, New York to conduct a research on this subject. After reviewing and discussing these findings in detail, The Council has approved the report. In the following pages, you will find the final version of the findings, in the form of
a research paper. It is in two parts. The first one is a summary, and the second is detailed. The sole purpose of this research paper is to present a clear understanding of how the Messenger of Allah , his rightly guided Caliphs (Khulafa’) , his Companions (Sahaba) , and their Successors (Tabi’een) performed these prayers, while citing clear proofs from the Authenticated Prophetic Traditions (Ahaadith) and juridical [Fiqh] texts. O Allah! Guide us to recognize the truth and give us the strength to act upon it, and guide us to
recognize evil, and give us the strength to refrain from it. Aameen.      SUMMARY OF THE SHARIA COUNCILS FINDINGS: We find that the Messenger of Allah , Khulafa’ , Sahaaba , and Tabi’een performed Salat ul Jumu’ah after Zawaal. This is what is known from the time of the Prophet  until now. The great Imam, Imam Shafi’i has
said, "The Messenger , all the Khulafa’ from Abu Bakr, Omar, Uthman, Ali , and all the Imams after them performed each Jumu’ah after Zawaal." (Kitab al Umm, Volume 2) Friday Prayer is not permitted before Zawaal. Imam Bukhari and other Muhadditheen permit Jumu’ah only after Zawaal. The Hanafi, Maliki and Shafi’i Fuqaha are unanimous that Jumu’ah before Zawaal is invalid. This constitutes 97% of the Muslim Ummah. Friday Prayer is valid only when certain conditions are fulfilled. Among the conditions for
the Jumu’ah to be valid is that it must be performed during the time of Zuhr prayer. (Al-Fiqh ala-Madhahib al-Arba’ah, Pages 375-6, Vol.1, Dar ul Fikr) In light of all the evidence, The Sharia Council of California highly recommends that the Jumu’ah Prayer be performed immediately after Zawaal, as is evident from a large number of Ahaadith.      SOLUTION: For Islamic Centers and mosques in North America, who face serious parking and traffic problems, a better solution that satisfies most Muslims could be: 1. Jumu'ah Adhan immediately after Zawaal. 2. The next 10 minutes for Sunnah/Nawaafil after the Adhan. 3. Both Khutbahs, only 10-15 minutes long. 4. Prayer time 10 minutes,
followed by 10 minutes for Sunnah/Nawaafil. This will allow the first batch to complete the first Jumu'ah in 40 minutes. The second group comes in and offers Sunnah prayers when the first Jumu’ah Prayer is over. The second Khutbah will start 15 minutes after the first Jumu’ah is completed. Such an arrangement will allow even a third Jumu’ah within a time frame of 2 hours and 20 minutes. (The minimum time for Zuhr/Jumu'ah according to any Fiqh on the shortest day of the year.)      THE FINDINGS OF THE SHARIA COUNCIL IN DETAIL: Question: Is performing Jumu’ah prayer all day Friday permissible? Some have argued that we can pray Jumu’ah any time from early morning (approximately fifteen minutes after sunrise) until the sunset.
Answer: 1.1 The Jumu’ah Prayer is to be performed only after Zawaal. This is what is known from the early days until now. The Messenger of Allah , Abu Bakr, Uthman, Imam Shafi’I,  and all the other Imams after them performed Jumu’ah after Zawaal. Like we mentioned earlier, our Madhhab is that the time of Zuhr is the time for Jumu’ah prayer, and it is not permitted before Zawaal. This is what Malik, Abu Hanifah and the majority of the Ulamaa’ from among Sahaaba  and Tabi’een concur with. Imam Bukhari and other Muhadditheen permit Jumu’ah only after Zawaal. Hanafi, Maliki and Shafi’i Fuqaha are unanimous that Jumu’ah before Zawaal is invalid. Only Hanbali Fuqaha' permit Jumu’ah before Zawaal. However, Imam Ahmad allowed it before Zawaal. It is also reported from ‘Ataa’, and ‘Ishaaq’. The Hanbalis argue that Jumu’ah is like an Eid prayer, therefore it is permitted to perform Jumu’ah as early as 15 minutes after sunrise when the sun has reached 2-3 feet above the horizon. However, they add that it is superior (Afdal) to perform it after Zawaal. 1.2 If we follow certain opinions, and take their arguments to be valid, then we would have to allow
Jumu’ah Prayer to be held all day long on Fridays, anytime it suits the Masjid. This contradicts the fact that the majority of the Muslim Ummah from the days of the Messenger  has performed Jumu’ah only after Zawaal until Asr. 1.3 According to Imam Abu Hanifah, Imam Shafi’i and Imam Mal

Holocaust Denier Gets Three Years in Jail

By VERONIKA OLEKSYN, Associated Press Writer Mon Feb 20, 6:24 PM ET

VIENNA, Austria - Right-wing British historian David Irving was sentenced to
three years in prison Monday after admitting to an Austrian court that he denied
the Holocaust — a crime in the country where Hitler was born.

Irving, who pleaded guilty and then insisted during his one-day trial that he
now acknowledged the Nazis' World War II slaughter of 6 million Jews, had faced
up to 10 years behind bars. Before the verdict, Irving conceded he had erred in
contending there were no gas chambers at the Auschwitz concentration camp.
"I made a mistake when I said there were no gas chambers at Auschwitz,"
Irving testified, at one point expressing sorrow "for all the innocent people
who died during the Second World War."
Irving, stressing he only relied on primary sources, said he came across new
information in the early 1990's from top Nazi officials — including personal
documents belonging to Adolf Eichmann — that led him to rethink certain previous
assertions.
But despite his apparent epiphany, Irving, 67, maintained he had never
questioned the Holocaust.
"I've never been a Holocaust denier and I get very angry when I'm called a
Holocaust denier," he said.
Irving's lawyer said he would appeal the sentence.
"I consider the verdict a little too stringent. I would say it's a bit of a
message trial," attorney Elmar Kresbach said.
State prosecutor Michael Klackl declined to comment on the verdict. In his
closing arguments, however, he criticized Irving for "putting on a show" and for
not admitting that the Nazis killed Jews in an organized and systematic
manner.
Irving appeared shocked as the sentence was read out. Moments later, an
elderly man identifying himself as a family friend called out "Stay strong,
David! Stay strong!" before he was escorted from the courtroom.
Irving has been in custody since his November arrest on charges stemming from
two speeches he gave in Austria in 1989 in which he was accused of denying the
Nazis' extermination of 6 million Jews.
Irving, handcuffed and wearing a navy blue suit, arrived at the court
carrying one of his most controversial books — "Hitler's War," which challenges
the extent of the Holocaust.
Throughout the day, Irving sat quietly and attentively in the stifling
courtroom.
Irving's trial was held amid new — and fierce — debate over freedom of
_expression_ in Europe, where the printing and reprinting of unflattering cartoons
of the Prophet Muhammad has triggered violent protests worldwide.
"Of course it's a question of freedom of speech," Irving said. "The law is an
ass."
The court convicted Irving after his guilty plea under the 1992 law, which
applies to "whoever denies, grossly plays down, approves or tries to excuse the
National Socialist genocide or other National Socialist crimes against humanity
in a print publication, in broadcast or other media."
Austria was Hitler's birthplace and once was run by the Nazis.
"He is everything but a historian ... He is a dangerous falsifier of
history," Klackl said, calling Irving's statements an "abuse of freedom of
speech."
Klackl said the Austrian law does not "hinder historical works."
"You have to look at each case individually," he said. "The point is, what is
someone trying to do? It's the intent."
Kresbach, however, said people "should have a right to be wrong."
The verdict was welcomed by the Simon Wiesenthal Center, which also
highlighted the issue of freedom of speech.
"While Irving's rants would not have led to legal action in the United
States, it is important that we recognize and respect Austria's commitment to
fighting Holocaust denial, the most odious form of hatred, as part of its
historic responsibility to its Nazi past," the center's associate dean, Rabbi
Abraham Cooper, said in a statement.
Kresbach said last month the controversial Third Reich historian was getting
up to 300 pieces of fan mail a week from supporters around the world and was
writing his memoirs in detention under the working title "Irving's War."
Irving was arrested Nov. 11 in the southern Austrian province of Styria on a
warrant issued in 1989. He tried to win his provisional release on $2

TEHRAN, Iran
Iranian President
Mahmoud Ahmadinejad blamed the United States and Israel on Thursday for the
destruction of a Shiite shrine's golden dome in Iraq, saying it was the work of
"defeated Zionists and occupiers."

Speaking to a crowd of thousands on a
tour of southwestern Iran, the president referred to the destruction of the
Askariya mosque dome in Samarra on Wednesday, which the Iraqi government has
blamed on insurgents.
"They invade the
shrine and bomb there because they oppose God and justice," Ahmadinejad
said, referring to the U.S.-led multinational forces in Iraq.
"These passive
activities are the acts of a group of defeated Zionists and occupiers who
intended to hit our emotions," he said in a speech that was broadcast on
state television. Addressing the United States, he added: "You have to know that such an act will not save you from the
anger of Muslim nations."
The bombing set off a string of
sectarian attacks in Iraq. Angry crowds thronged the streets, militiamen
attacked Sunni mosques and at least 19 people were killed.

[IslamCity] Custodian of Israel's Policy Seen as a Big Loser in Palestinian Vote

2006-02-27 Thread Alan Border

“When it is said to them: "Make not mischief on the earth," they say: "Why, we only Want to make peace!"  Of a surety, they are the ones who make mischief, but they realise (it) not.” (Al-Qur'an, 2:11-12  - Al-Baqara [The Cow]) U.S. Policy Seen as Big Loser in Palestinian Vote By Glenn Kessler Washington Post Staff WriterSaturday, January 28, 2006; Page A16 http://www.washingtonpost.com/wp-dyn/content/article/2006/01/27/AR2006012701562.html     Standing in a sunny Rose Garden on June 24, 2002, surrounded by his top foreign policy advisers, President Bush issued a clarion call for resolving the deadly Israeli-Palestinian conflict: "I call on the Palestinian people to elect new leaders, leaders not compromised by terror."     This week, Palestinians gave their answer, handing a landslide victory in national legislative elections to Hamas, which has claimed responsibility for dozens of suicide bombings and desires the elimination of Israel. Bush's statement calling for new leaders was aimed at the late Palestinian leader Yasser Arafat, but in the same speech he also said it was necessary to thwart Hamas -- formally the Islamic Resistance Movement -- and other militant groups.     The election outcome signals a dramatic failure in the administration's strategy for Middle East peace, according to analysts and some U.S. officials. Since the United States cannot deal with an organization labeled a terrorist organization by the State Department, Hamas's victory is likely to curtail U.S. aid, limit official U.S. contacts with the Palestinian government and stall efforts to create an independent Palestinian state.     More broadly, Hamas's victory is seen as a setback in the administration's campaign for greater democracy in the Middle East. Elections in Iran, Iraq, Egypt and now the Palestinian territories have resulted in the defeat of secular and moderate parties and the rise of Islamic parties hostile to U.S. interests.     The administration has long been criticized for being
reluctant to get involved in the Israeli-Palestinian conflict; even after Bush's 2002 speech, the policy drifted except for occasional high-profile speeches and events. But after Arafat's death in late 2004 and the beginning of the new presidential term, Bush vowed things would be different, saying he would invest "political capital" in ensuring a Palestinian state before he leaves office three years from now. The effort went wrong on three fronts, according to interviews inside and outside the administration:     ·    The administration put its hopes on the Palestinian president, Mahmoud Abbas, and poured hundreds of millions of dollars to fund public works projects. But it failed to back him when he asked for concrete help, especially in his dealings with the Israelis. ·    The administration was
highly attuned to the shifts of Israeli politics but tone-deaf to the upheaval in Palestinian society. It was so focused on facilitating Israel's withdrawal from the Gaza Strip that it did not press Israel to end settlement expansion, release additional prisoners or take other measures that might have reduced Palestinian indignation. ·    Despite deep Israeli misgivings, the administration late last year shifted policy and decided Hamas could participate in the elections even though it had not disarmed its militias, in contrast to rules set for elections in Afghanistan and Northern Ireland.     To be sure, a large share of the blame for Hamas's victory rests with Abbas -- widely perceived as weak and indecisive -- and his quarreling and often corrupt Fatah party. The Palestinian Authority proved incapable of governing Gaza after the Israeli withdrawal, adding to the perception of incompetence.     Analysts credit the Bush administration with focusing on building some governing institutions, such as a well-functioning Finance Ministry that handles the foreign aid that keeps the Palestinian Authority afloat. But many experts fault the administration for issuing high-sounding rhetoric without sustained involvement on the ground. There were eloquent speeches and praise for Abbas" but little else, said Robert Malley, director of the International Crisis Group's Middle East program, who was on President Bill Clinton's National Security Council staff. "There was an abstract faith in the idea that if you do the right thing, you will get a two-state solution."     The administration at the
start of last year pledged it would take a low-key approach that would rely much more on nations in the region to carry the diplomatic burden. Officials were disdainful of the Clinton administration's deep involvement in the peace process, which they believed amounted to micromanaging. But over the course of the year, a top general was dispatched to help organize Palestinian security forces, former World Bank president James D. Wolfensohn was recruited to assist on the Gaza withdrawal and Secretary of State Condoleezza Rice in November persona

[IslamCity] PERFECT SYSTEM OF LIFE

2006-02-27 Thread Soul Power

PERFECT SYSTEM OF LIFE     One day the Prophet of Islam seated himself in a mosque in Medina, along with some companions. Shortly thereafter, a Bedouin entered the mosque and began urinating. The
Prophet’s Companions rose with the intention of beating the Bedouin. But the Prophet forbade them to do so, asking them to let him be. When the man had finished urinating, the Prophet asked the Companions to fetch a bucket of water and wash the place clean.     Afterwards he explained to his Companions:      “You are sent to make things easy and not to make things difficult”  (Fathul Bari, 1/386).     This illustrates for us an unwavering principle of Islam, that is, in social life when any unpleasant incident takes place, the believers should concentrate on finding a solution to the problem and not just think in terms of what punishment to mete out to the problem-maker. On all such occasions the urge to reform should be engendered within the believers instead of a desire to exact revenge. Such methods should be adopted as alleviate rather than aggravate the problem. Just as when some
building is set on fire, the most natural impulse is to immediately extinguish it, rather than fan the flames to make it flare up even more.     In most controversial matters there can be both easy and difficult ways of resolving the problem. Treading the path of facility usually eases matters, whereas treading the path of difficulty can cause matters to flare up with even greater intensity. In all situations, Islam gives preference to the former, rather than to the latter approach.    This is an eternal principle of Islam, relating to both personal and social life. It ought to be applied in all matters inside as well as outside the home. It is a perfect principle on which to base a perfect system of life. Soul Power

Pentagon-Controlled Iraqi National Guard Implicated in Samarra Mosque

As the "non-partisan" Council on Foreign Relations assures us, Iraqi
National Guard troops are trained and fully "vetted" by the Pentagon.
"National guard troops receive three weeks of formal training and then
on-the-job training by working with U.S. forces," a CFR backgrounder
explains [ http://www.cfr.org/publication.html?id=v33#2 ]. "The
National Guard has replaced the Iraqi Civil Defense Corps as the
largest security force in Iraq," reports the World Tribune. "The
45,000-member force has been trained and equipped by the United
States, with help from Britain and Jordan." In short, the Iraqi
National Guard is a subsidiary of the Pentagon, organized and trained
to do the bidding of the Anglo-American occupation forces and their
installed minions. Thus it should come as no surprise the Iraqi
National Guard may play an important role in the recent bombing of the
Golden Dome mosque in Samarra, according to locals.

Since it is unreasonable to expect Baghdad hotel-bound corporate media
hacks to report anything beyond what is read from a Pentagon script
inside the Green Zone, most Americans remain unaware of details
implicating the Iraqi National Guard in the bombing. According to
reports appearing on the humanitarian Iraqi League organization's
Iraqi Rabita website and translated into English by the Iraqi blogger
Baghdad Dweller [ http://www.roadstoiraq.com/?p=r3 ] (see original
Arabic here [ http://www.iraqirabita.org/index.php?do==article&id=061
] and here [ http://www.iraqirabita.org/index.php?do==article&id=065
]), at least two witnesses saw "unusual activities by the ING [Iraqi
National Guard] in the area around the mosque." Two mosque guards
reported four men in ING uniforms had blindfolded them and planted
explosives. A second witness, Muhammad al-Samarrai, the owner of an
internet cafe in the area, was told to stay in his store and not leave
the area. From 11 pm until 6:30 am, ten minutes before two bombs were
detonated, the area surrounding the mosque was patrolled by "joint
forces of Iraqi ING and Americans," according to al-Samarrai.

In addition to apparently facilitating the mosque bombing, Iraqi
National Guard troops provided assistance to "more than a dozen masked
Shia gunmen" attacking the Sunni al-Quds mosque in western Baghdad in
the wake of the Samarra attack, according to the Times Online [
http://www.timesonline.co.uk/article/0,,3-2053587,00.html ]. In
addition, "gunmen arrived [at the Maakel prison in Basra] in a fleet
of cars and showed documents which claimed that they were from the
Interior Ministry… and lynched at least eleven Sunni inmates, among
them at least two Egyptians."

Last month, according to the Washington Post [
http://www.washingtonpost.com/wp-dyn/content/article/2006/02/16/AR2006021600180.html
], the Iraqi Interior Ministry was implicated in the operation of
death squads targeting Sunnis. Moreover, according to John Pike, an
expert on classified military budgets, as cited by Robert Dreyfuss in
an article for the American Prospect [
http://www.prospect.org/print/V15/1/dreyfuss-r.html ], a 2004 Iraqi
appropriation bill contained $3 billion for paramilitary units. The
"bulk of the covert money" went to "support U.S. efforts to create a
lethal, and revenge-minded, Iraqi security force" and also "an Iraqi
secret police staffed mainly by gunmen associated with members of the
puppet Iraqi Governing Council," thus revealing the situation in Iraq
is not precisely as the hand-fed corporate media would have us believe.

Of course, two eye witnesses should not be considered conclusive
evidence the Pentagon puppet Iraqi National Guard is behind the mosque
bombings in Samarra. However, when added to the wealth of evidence
from various sources detailing the existence of a Anglo-American
"counterinsurgency" program in Iraq (including the now largely
forgotten and never referenced by the corporate media story of two
British covert operatives caught red-handed in terrorist behavior last
September [
http://www.globalresearch.ca/index.php?context==viewArticle&code=
050920&articleId=—2
]) the incident should at least stir a modicum of suspicion.

Naturally, any such suspicion will go duly unnoticed by the corporate
media, already in the process of blaming the "al-Qaeda movement," as
James Jeffrey of the State Department characterized the perpetrators [
http://www.theaustralian.news.com.au/common/story_page/0,5744,18245765%255E23109,00.html
], and in the process leading the media down the preferred path,
discouraging for now the absurd idea, as suggested by at least one
member of the slavish corporate press, that Iran was somehow behind
the bombing of the mosque containing the entombed bodies of two
revered spiritual leaders of Shia Islam. "I think we should focus on
al-Qaeda at this point,"

Peace be upon you,

Anas Bin Malik said that the Prophet wore a sliver ring on his right

Commenting on this hadith, Nawawi said:
"The scholars say ... an Abyssinian stone means a stone of onyx [ in
which there is whiteness and blackness] or carnelian (aqiq) because
their mines are in Abyssinia and Yemen, or it is said [it means] that
it's color was Abyssinian (i.e. black)."

80 Muslims slaughtered in Nigerian
city of OnitshaAt least 80 Muslims have been killed in
the southern Nigerian city of Onitsha in sectarian violence by Christians, a
rights group said yesterday, as the city’s dead were burnt in public bonfires.
"We counted 60 bodies on Tuesday and 20 on Wednesday and there could be more,"
said the head of the local chapter of the Lagos-based Civil Liberties
Organisation (CLO), adding "most of the victims are Muslims." "It was a great
massacre that should be condemned by any right-thinking person. Human bodies
littered the streets in Onitsha," he said. The victims had been slaughtered
"with machetes, knives, metal objects, clubs and in some instance, even guns,"
he added. The city’s central mosque was a burnt out ruin, its inner walls daubed
with anti-Muslim slogans.

Five Palestinians killed in Zionist
raid Zionist occupation troops have killed five
Palestinians during the biggest raid against West Bank fighters for months,
stoking tension as Hamas leaders hold talks to form a new Palestinian
government. Clashes began in Nablus yesterday after the army blocked main roads
and forced schools and some businesses to close. Angered by the deaths, hundreds
of Palestinians marched in the streets shouting "Death to Israel, death to
occupation". Elsewhere, more than 50 people have been injured in confrontations
with Jewish troops. The latest deaths in Nablus took the toll to eight over five
days.

130 killed in Iraq sectarian
clashesSectarian bloodshed triggered by blasts at a
shrine in Samarra on Wednesday, claimed the lives of more than 130 people, as
Iraqi President Jalal Talabani warned that widespread rebellion could engulf the
whole country. The upsurge in sectarian killings came after suspected US-linked
militants attacked the 1,000-year-old Askarya mausoleum. Spiralling violence now
threatens to derail negotiations on setting up a government of national unity.
Iraq has placed its security forces on high alert and imposed a night curfew in
Baghdad that is three hours earlier than usual. Prime Minister Ibrahim Jaafari
proclaimed three days of national mourning and Thursday was declared as a public
holiday in a bid to get people off the
streets.

Kashmiris protest over killing of
boysThousands of Kashmiris have taken to the streets
shouting anti-India slogans against the fatal shooting of four boys by the
Indian army. The demonstrators in Dodipora village in India-administered Kashmir
yesterday accused security forces of cordoning off a playground and firing
indiscriminately during a hunt for a militant suspect. Dodipora is about 90km
north of Srinagar, the summer capital of Jammu-Kashmir state. Four boys aged
from six to 18 died in the shooting on Wednesday. Both the Indian army and the
state government promised to investigate the incident. More than a dozen
Kashmiri groups are fighting security forces in Indian-administered Kashmir
seeking independence or its merger with mostly Muslim Pakistan. The 16-year
insurgency has claimed more than 66,000 lives, most of them
civilians.

Zionists planning 'apartheid'
roadsThe Zionist state plans to pave new roads in the
West Bank exclusively for Palestinians while Jewish settler vehicles keep to the
existing network, a senior security source has said. Palestinians condemned the
idea as a form of apartheid and said the initiative appeared aimed at cementing
Zionist hold on occupied land that they want for a state. No details were
immediately available of the extent of the proposed network or of when the plan
might take effect. About 245,000 Jews live among 2.4 million Palestinians in the
West Bank. The World Court has branded all Israel's settlements on occupied land
illegal. Israel disputes this.

India, Iran remain committed to gas
pipelineIndia and Iran yesterday pledged their
commitment to building a multi-billion-dollar gas pipeline through Pakistan
during talks between Iran’s deputy foreign minister Mehdi Safari and Indian
leaders, a government statement said. Both sides "reaffirmed their commitment to
the Iran-Pakistan-India gas pipeline and an early ratification of the LNG
(liquefied natural gas) deal" signed last year. The June agreement, worth $22
billion, provides for the import of five million tonnes of Iranian gas annually
over a 25-year period from 2009. Negotiations on the proposed pipeline through
Pakistan began in 1994 but has made little
headway.

UAE Gave $100 Million for Katrina
Relief Weeks before one of its companies sought US
approval for its ports deal, the United Arab Emirates contributed $100 million
to help victims of Hurricane Katrina, officials confirmed yesterday. The Bush
administration said the money it received from the UAE was nearly four times as
much as it received from all other countries combined.

Blair
condones Amin-style tactics against terrorism, says Archbishop

By David Charter, Ruth Gledhill and Greg Hurst

TONY
BLAIR was accused last night by the Archbishop of York of helping the US to run
“Idi Amin-style” tactics in the war on terror.

Mr Blair was challenged
by Dr John Sentamu after refusing to condemn Guantanamo
Bay beyond calling the prison camp run
by the US in Cuba an
“anomaly”.

The Prime Minister also
risked the wrath of civil liberties campaigners — including his own wife
— by accusing Amnesty International and a cross-party committee of MPs of
looking at Britain’s
treatment of terrorist suspects “the wrong way round”.

At his monthly news
conference, he said that too much time was spent examining the rights of
suspects compared to the “human rights of the rest of us to live in
safety”.

Mr Blair had been stung
by criticism from the MPs’ Foreign Affairs Committee (FAC) that the
monitoring of suspects returned to countries with questionable human rights
records must not be a “fig leaf to disguise the real risk of
torture”.

Mr Blair said:
“When people say to me unless I can get absolute cast-iron guarantees and
have all sorts of monitoring arrangements, we have got to keep people here who
may be engaging actively in inciting terrorism in this country, I have to say I
think we have got the world the wrong way round.”

His outburst may even
cause a backlash at home. Cherie Booth, QC, his wife and a leading human rights
barrister, is due to give a speech at an event partly organised by Human Rights
Watch next week entitled Torture: Do the
rules still matter?

Mr Blair spoke out
after the FAC called on him to push more vociferously for the closure of Guantanamo Bay. Amnesty International also issued a
report criticising many of Britain’s
measures in the war in terror for undermining human rights.

They were joined last
night in an attack by Dr Sentamu who compared President Bush’s human
rights record with that of the Ugandan dictator Idi Amin.

Dr Sentamu, a former
High Court judge who fled Uganda
for Britain after it became
clear that standing up to the dictator had placed his own life in jeopardy,
also criticised Mr Blair for describing Guantanamo Bay
as an “anomaly”.

Dr Sentamu said:
“This is not an ‘anomaly’. By declaring ‘war on
terror’ President Bush is perversely applying the rules of engagement
that apply in a war situation. But the prisoners are not being regularly
visited by the Red Cross or Red Crescent, which is required by the Geneva
Convention. They were not even allowed to be interviewed by the UN human rights
group.

“In Uganda
President Amin did something similar: he did not imprison suspects because he
knew that in prison, the law would apply to them so he created special places to
keep them. If the Guantanamo
 Bay detainees were on
American soil the law would apply. This is a breach of international law and a
blight on the conscience of America.”

Mr Blair hinted that he
had spoken more strongly about Guantanamo
 Bay in private with Mr
Bush but would use no stronger word to describe it yesterday than
“anomaly”.

But returning to the
issue of suspects that Britain
wants to deport, he said: “If I am right in saying that the reports both
of the FAC and Amnesty International were talking about the deportation cases
we have got here, I’ve just got to say I think we have just got the whole
thing upside down.

“I do not see why
we should not be able to deport people who are not nationals of this country
but have come here to cause trouble.”

Mr
Blair also denied that there was any evidence for claims that terror suspects
were carried on up to 200 American flights through Britain under “extraordinary
rendition”.

Kate Allen, UK director of
Amnesty, said: “There is nothing ‘upside down’ about taking a
principled stand against torture.”

RIGHTS REPORT

Amnesty International report on Britain’s
human rights record:

On anti-terrorism
powers since September 11, 2001:

“People suspected
of involvement in terrorism who have been detained in the UK under the
new laws have . . . been held for years in harsh conditions on the basis of
secret accusations that they are not allowed to know and therefore cannot
refute.”

On the Terrorism Bill
before Parliament:

“Some of its most
sweeping and vague provisions, if enacted, would undermine the rights to
freedom of _expression_, association, liberty and fair trial.”

On the admissibility of
evidence obtained by torture:

“Amnesty
International is increasingly concerned that UK’s policies and actions at
home and abroad are effectively sending a ‘green light’ to other
governments to abuse human rights.”

On rendition flights:

“Amnesty International
remains concerned about the allegations that the UK
authorities played a role in the unlawful transfers of a number of individuals
to US
custody.”

On Guantanamo Bay:

Hannity,
OReilly, . they all have gone bizarre, for the last two days
they are spinning differently...the anti-Islam, anti-Muslim rhetoric is
minimized. I welcome it  and let it ride.

It is
bizarre to see Bill O'Reilly defending UAE, calling the "Liberals" racists. The
tables are turned completely around.

The only Muslim from Muslim Public Affairs
council , Mr Ahmed was media savvy, and was darn good. He made his points in
  good sound bytes
Another one argued: It is time for us to show
that we are not against Islam, not against Arabs but miniscule Al-Qaeda

  British Citizens bombed the Rail
So what if those two hijackers originated in
UAE, we cleared them thorough our customs, thru our airports?
  We cannot betray the Arabs
The anchor idiot (not Oreilly) said they are not
recognizing Israel... it was responded by the words that is whole another

For Christ's sake it is business we are talking
  about...
UAE is a reliable ally , we need to reward them
and turn them away from our camp..

GET INVOLVED IN THE
MEDIA.

We need to make honest efforts to be a part
of the media. Today, I attended Jeff Crilley's program " how to write
a killer press release" and how to hold a press conference. Even though I have
been around the media, I learned quite a lot. I was hoping at least a few
Muslims would show up as I sent the emails to quite a many.

FRIENDSHIP
DINNERS:

You really can make a difference, choose an evening,
let's say Saturday the 25th, budget permitting invite 2 to 6
individuals/couples with kids from work,  from your neighborhood. (please
do not invite your friends - let them invite others) or from your day to day
contacts. Just have a peaceful meal, be yourselves, and let them be
themselves. Talk about children, crime, society...It is just a
friendship dinner, it should not cost us more than $30/ (I priced it for 8
people's meals) Let's keep it within that. Insha Allah we will create a
yahoogroup to learn about every one's experience. This group will grow slowly
but steadily and only "DOERS" need to enhance this group.

No matter how
great the temptation is, at this time, at the first
meeting:

1) Let us avoid talking about religion - Let
us not go on to explain how good our faith is, we will regret it - neither
one will enjoy the dinner or the meeting.

2) Let us avoid talking politics - No bashing of any one
at this time, just enjoy our meal - politics will lead into argument and
let's not spoil the good thing.

3) Our Dawah is our good behavior,  and honoring
them for who they are, we will be honored by them automatically.

I hope we can set up the dinner this Friday or
Saturday... even if we have to invite just a couple. We can see the difference we will make in one's year time,
if we have 12 such dinners in a year.  I request our
Imams to give us guidance and speak about it in their Khutbas.
Let's go do
it.

An Evening of WisdomA DINNER TABLE CONVERSATIONYou and 9 other individuals from other

in with respect and appreciation for the God given uniqueness to each one of us.

[IslamCity] Letter sent to Assembly of First Nations re trip to Israel

2006-02-27 Thread Susan Howard-Azzeh

Hanna Kawas <[EMAIL PROTECTED]> wrote: From: "Hanna Kawas" <[EMAIL PROTECTED]>To: [EMAIL PROTECTED]Subject: Open letter as sent to AFNDate: Fri, 24 Feb 2006 07:27:32 +     CANADA PALESTINE ASSOCIATION www.cpavancouver.org     February 23, 2006 Open letter to the Assembly of First Nations We are saddened, hurt and shocked by the visit of a delegation of the Assembly of First Nations (AFN) to Israel, as well as the following statement attributed to AFN National Chief Phil Fontaine: "Indigenous people in Canada have much in common with the people of Israel, including a respect of the land and their languages. This mission is an excellent opportunity for us to share our values
and our traditional ways of life, in the hope of building greater understanding, awareness and respect for our similarities and differences, both at home and abroad". http://www.afn.ca/article.asp?id=2276    The victims of genocide at the hands of European settler colonialism cannot and should not give cover for another form of settler colonialism that has committed and continues to commit wholesale ethnic cleansing and genocide against the Palestinian people and nation.  In 1948, over four hundred villages and towns were wiped off the Palestinian and world map and their cemeteries desecrated; two thirds of the Palestinian people were uprooted from their historic homeland and forced to live in reservations
called refugee camps for the past fifty-eight years, most outside of their historic land. (See “All That Remains” By Prof. Walid Khalidi http://palestineremembered.com/Acre/Palestine-Remembered/Story661.html  ) Perhaps the chiefs, elders and leaders of the Assembly of First Nations don’t know the history of the Zionist movement.  In fact, it was coined on the model of the European settler colonialist movement that preceded it four hundred years earlier and committed the genocide against the indigenous peoples.  The Zionist movement was also built on the South Africa, Zimbabwe, Angola, Guinea Bissau, Mozambique,
Algeria and other European settler colonialist models of the same era - late nineteenth and early twentieth centuries. Here is what the first Zionist Congress held in Basle, Switzerland (in Europe) in 1897 listed as some of the aims of the movement:   “Zionism strives to create for the Jewish people a homeland in Palestine secured by public law. The congress contemplates the following means to the attainment of this end: 1- The promotion on suitable
lines of the colonization of Palestine by Jewish agricultural and industrial workers. (our emphasis)” And Theodor Herzl, the founder of political Zionism, wrote in his book The Jewish State in 1896: “We should there form a portion of the rampart of Europe against Asia, an outpost of civilization as opposed to barbarism. (our emphasis)” So doesn’t this logic sound familiar?  We are sure that it is painfully familiar to your ancestors and to your people who face racism on a daily basis. We are sorry that we do not have the means to take you on similar tours to show you what is really happening in Palestine.  Perhaps you should ask the hundreds of international volunteers, including Canadians, who paid their own way to go there and bear witness to the continuous Israeli brutality against the indigenous people of Palestine (See http://www.palsolidarity.org/main/  ). We are sure your Israeli and Zionist hosts will never take you to see the remains of the four hundred villages that were systematically destroyed, nor will they show you the Apartheid wall, the refugee camps, the tens of thousands of uprooted trees nor will they tell you that over 95 per cent of the land that Israel sits on is stolen land from the indigenous Palestinian
population.  If Chief Fontaine thinks that Israel has respect for the land, he is either unaware or complicit in covering up the massive Israeli injustice against the indigenous people of Palestine. We will be frank with you. In the name of the vanquished indigenous people, you are being used to justify and cover up not only the Israeli atrocities and war crimes committed against the Palestinian people but also Israeli support for racism and oppression against the peoples of Africa, Asia, central and south America. This should not pass. The sooner you clarify your position, the sooner you will salvage your name and credibility.  Already messages on the Internet are describing your collaboration with the Zionist
organizations under the title: “Friends of neocolonialism meet”.  We hope that you will not be remembered as friends of European settler colonialists who committed genocide against the Palestinian people and were motivated by conquest, greed and superiority, the same evil motivations that enslaved the Native people of the Americas. It is an offence and a crime against our native brothers and sisters who are still living and to those who perished in the process of colonization, to associate with the crimes of the I

Angels Among usWritten by becky hobbsI was walking home from school on a cold winter day.Took a shortcut through the woods, and I lost my way.It was getting late, and I was scared and alone. But then a kind old man took my hand and led me home.Mama couldn’t see him, but he was standing there. And I knew in my heart, he was the answer to my prayers.Oh I believe there are angels among us.Sent down to us from somewhere up above. They come to you and me in our darkest hours. To show us how to live, to teach us how to give.To guide us with a light of love. When life held troubled times, and had me down on my knees. There’s always been someone there to come along and comfort me.A kind word from a stranger, to lend a helping hand.A phone call from a friend, just to say I understand. And ain’t it kind of funny that at the dark end of the road.Someone lights the way with just a single ray of hope. They
wear so many faces, show up in the strangest places. To guide us with their mercy, in our time of need.To guide us with a light of love.

[IslamCity] Mansoor Ijaz on Ports deal un-American.

2006-02-27 Thread MIKEGHOUSE

From: Mansoor IJAZ  National Review OnlineWednesday,
February 22, 2006, 2:12 p.m.Un-AmericanA Disappointing and Damaging
Response to the Dubai Ports DealMansoor Ijaz is chairman of Crescent
Investment Management LLC, a NewYork private equity firm developing
homeland-security technologiesrelated to Internet security, air and
seaport-cargo security, andairship-surveillance technologies. He also serves
as chief executive ofCrescent Hydropolis Resorts
, aLondon Stock Exchange (AIM)
quoted company that is developing theworld's first permanent underwater
living facilities, including aplanned location in
Dubai.Islamophobia, not national security, is at the heart of the
ragingcontroversy on Capitol Hill over a United Arab Emirates-based
company,Dubai Ports World, assuming ownership and management
responsibilities atsix major seaports in the United States. U.S. lawmakers
might bristle atthe thought of letting the UAE own and operate U.S. ports.
After all, itwas a citizen of the UAE, Marwan al Shehhi, who piloted United
AirlinesFlight 175 into the second World Trade Center tower, and it was
throughthe banks of this country that the 9/11 attacks were partially
financed. But their fiery rhetoric and threats of congressional action mask
anincreasingly patronizing racism fueled by illogical paranoia rooted
inpast events. Let's deal with what the UAE is now.Simply put, the
reaction to the Dubai deal is un-American.President Bush has therefore
rightly threatened to veto any attempts toblock the Dubai deal, although
Congress, eager to insure the burden ofresponsibility falls squarely on his
shoulders if another terroristattack takes place on American soil, is sure
to force him to pull outthe presidential ink pen next
week.Congressional moves to reverse the administration's support for an
Arabcompany to run American ports exposes dangerous prejudices in
America'sdealings with important Muslim countries at the time when they
areneeded most as front-line allies to fight terrorism. In Dubai's
case, this reality is reflected by deep suspicions that the sheikdom's
cordialrelations with leading state sponsors of terrorism, like Iran,
mightsomehow become the basis for DP World's port operations
allowingnuclear, chemical, or biological weapons to be smuggled into the
U.S. inship containers from unregulated ports.Dubai, known for
innovative investing in antiterrorist technology, should be encouraged to
fund and deploy a revolutionary array ofsecurity initiatives, such as
neutron pulse scanners and smartcontainer-tracking chips that can track and
detect illicit materials incargo containers. U.S. technology is already
being developed inprototype form to create CAT-scan-like reports identifying
nuclear andchemical materials inside containers in less than two minutes,
withoutopening them or materially affecting port management economics.
Ratherthan penalize Dubai for suspicions no one can prove, the U.S.
Departmentof Homeland Security should find a common investment and
implementationbasis with DP World for moving such technology development
forward at amore rapid pace.Simple corporate restructuring of the
deal could also address concernsover how foreign-government-owned businesses
are allowed to exertcontrol in operating U.S. ports. DP World's operations
could beconducted under a U.S.-limited liability company framework with
twoclasses of shares -- voting and non-voting. DP World would own
100percent of the non-voting shares, which in turn would accrue 99
percentof the deal's economic benefits. The voting-rights shares would be
100percent owned by U.S. citizens with one percent of the
economicbenefits. The voting shares would have sole authority to set
portoperations policies, and importantly, to change any policy
promulgatedby DP World deemed a threat to national security.Under
such a proposal, the U.S. shareholders could be, for example,
thechief-executive officeholders of the port authorities that DP
Worldproposes to manage, along with a few presidential appointees, such
asformer law-enforcement officials, to provide oversight.
Sucharrangements already serve to channel important investment into
privateU.S. companies engaged in sensitive technology development that
areregulated by International Traffic in Arms Regulations (ITAR).
Portsecurity, as opposed to a port's commercial activities that DP
Worldwould be responsible for, will remain the task of the U.S. Coast
Guardand Customs Service.Such changes would not be discriminatory
going forward -- even a Britishcompany, like the ports' present management
owners, Peninsular andOriental, would also be subjected to the new
regime.Washington's bout with Islamophobia also ignores the reality of
Dubai'sfuture direction. A metropolis already, it is rapidly becoming
theprototype city-state that could serve as an important example for
thefuture in Muslim societies bedeviled by high unemployment, low
literacyrates, bad tra

[IslamCity] Reformist Muslims Announce a Cartoon and Drawing Competition about Muhammad and Islam.

2006-02-27 Thread shorketh ali

Reformist Muslims Announce a Cartoon and Drawing Competition about Muhammad and Islam. http://19.org/index.php?id=82,359,0,0,1,0 As islamic reformers and progressive muslims, we believe that people should have legal right to express their opinion or dissent without fear of governments or mobs. In that regard, we applaud the people of Denmark for not censoring their media. History has proven that truth and justice cannot flourish in an environment of suppression and oppression. Though the cartoonists depicted and insulted our beloved prophet Muhammad, a figure that we consider dearer to us than our fathers and mothers, we stand by the rights of cartoonists to express their views. Comment: If Islam is the truth as these people claim then why is it in need of reform, surely only things which are not valid or correct need reformation? There is no moderate, progressive,
fundamentalist or extremist titles in Islam, you are either a practicing Muslim or one who is trying their best to improve their practice of Islam based upon the understanding that we have been created and put on this world by a creator who will test us in this life and take our life at a fixed point in time. If these people think that freedom of speech should be allowed to flourish and not restricted then why are they offended when Islam is attacked and insulted? This group of people have been severely influenced by the western culture and are trying to reconcile between the truth and falsehood hence the contradictory message.

  Muslems
  50 Denmarkers Accepted
IslamNow for a good piece of news! The known scholar and researcher in
IslamicAffairs, Amir Naif Bin Abdel Aziz, yesterday February 8th, on Majd
TVchannel said that since the publication of the blasphemous cartoons
inDenmark, more than 50 Denmarkers have embraced Islam. Subhan Allah.
Theypublished the cartoons to turn people away from Islam and instead
theyinvoked Denmarkers curiosity. Denmarkers wanted to know who Muhammad
PBUH was, when they say millions of Muslims protesting and caring about
theissue so intensely. And Al Hamdullah. You never know where the khair
is...Please send this piece of info to everyone you know so it can
make iteasier on them to boycott Danish products and products and all
theirculprits that try to slander Islam. Also continue to boycott
Danish and culprits products. You can find outwhich country a product
originates by looking at the bar code at thebottom of the product. The bar
code is bunch of black and white lines witha number underneath which
allows for electronic sorting and recognition. The first 3 numbers from the
left are the country code. For example,Israel
  is   729Denmark
  is   570 - 579Norway
  is 700 - 709This news
is brought to you by NoorTV - lets support the concept ofdestroying the
darkness and introduce light into our lives.Assalamu

Al-salaamu alaykum wa
rahmat-Allaahi wa barakaatuhu

Narated By Abu Said
Al-Khudri(may Allaah be pleased with
him) : Allah's
Apostle(peace
and blessings of Allaah be upon him) said, "While I was sleeping I saw
(in a dream) some people wearing shirts of which some were reaching up to
the breasts only while others were even shorter than that. Umar bin
Al-Khattab(may Allaah be pleased with
him) was shown wearing a shirt that he
was dragging." The people asked, "How did you interpret it? (What is its
interpretation) O Allah's Apostle?" He (the Prophet) replied, "It is the
Religion."
