Boycott Israel [IslamCity] BUILD YOUR EMAAN

2006-10-24 Thread MOODY HONA BURI BAAT NAHI HAY

SIGNS OF WEAK EMAAN Committing sins and not feeling any guilt. Having a hard heart and no desire to read the Quran. Feeling too lazy to do good deeds, e.g. being late for salat Neglecting the Sunnah. Not feeling anything when hearing verses from the Quran, for example when Allah warns us of punishments and His promise of glad tidings.Finding difficulty in remembering Allah Not feeling bad when things are done against the Shariah. Desiring status and wealth. Being mean and miserly, i.e. not wanting to part with wealth. Ordering others to do good deeds when not practising them ourselves. Feeling pleased when things are not progressing for others. Being concerned with whether something is haram or halal only; and not avoiding makroo (not recommended) things. Making fun of people who do simple good deeds, like cleaning the mosque. Not feeling the responsibility to do something to promote
Islam. Becoming engrossed and very involved with dunya, worldly things, i.e. feeling bad only when losing something in terms of material wealth.Becoming engrossed and obsessive about ourselves. LISTED BELOW ARE WAYS TO INCREASE OUR EMAAN Recite and ponder on the meanings of the Quran.Realize the greatness of Allah. Everything is under His control. There are signs in everything we see that points us to His greatness. Everything happens according to His permission. Allah keeps track and looks after everything, even a black ant on a black rock on a black moonless night.Make an effort to gain knowledge, for at least the basic things in daily life e.g. how to make wazoo properly. Know the meanings behind Allah's names and attributes. People who have taqwa are those who have knowledge.Attend gatherings where Allah is remembered. In such gatherings
we are surrounded by angels. We have to increase our good deeds. One good deed leads to another good deed. Allah will make the way easy for someone who gives charity and also make it easy for him or her to do good deeds. Good deeds must be done continuously, not in spurts. We must fear the miserable end to our lives; the remembrance of death is the destroyer of pleasures. Remember the different levels of akhirah, for instance when we are put in our graves, when we are judged, whether we will be in paradise or hell.Make dua, realize that we need Allah. Be humble. Don't covet material things in this life. Our love for ALLAH must be shown in actions. We must hope Allah will accept our prayers, and be in constant fear that we do wrong. At night before going to sleep, we must think about what good we did during that day.Realize the effects of sins and disobedience- one's imaan is increased with good deeds and our imaan is decreased by bad deeds.
Everything that happens is because Allah wanted it. When calamity befalls us- it is also from Allah. It is a direct result of our disobedience to Allah.

Boycott Israel [IslamCity] Replies the First Deputy Chief of Muslim Brotherhood Mr Habib gave to some important questions--ikhwanweb.com

2006-10-24 Thread S A Hannan

Dear members,

Assalamu Alaikum. Please see the replies the First
Deputy Chief of Muslim Brotherhood Mr Habib gave to some important questions .
These deserve attention of all Islamic and western agencies and
organisations.

Shah Abdul Hannan

  Dr. Mohamed El-Sayed Habib, First
Deputy of the Chairman of the Muslim Brotherhood, affirmed that the
artificial uproar over the feared establishment of a so-called religious
state and the related allegations concerning a resulting threat to Copts’
rights and to arts and creativity, following the big Brotherhood electoral
victory in the latest legislative elections in Egypt, is no more than an
artificial, unfounded controversy. He talked about the Brotherhood’s vision of
the political and economic reform, how to bring about development in its
broadest sense, the Brotherhood’s relations with the U.S. administration
and other topics that we discussed with him in this
  interview.
Q: The latest period has witnessed a clear ascendancy of
the Muslim Brotherhood on the political scene as a result of which it
garnered 88 seats in the People’s Assembly -Egypt’s parliament. What are the issues that the Brotherhood will be
interested in raising in the People’s Assembly?
A: I would like first to confirm that the
presence in the People’s Assembly of 88 Muslim Brothers will not
substantially affect the form or composition of the assembly where the
ruling party enjoys, in its own words, a more than comfortable majority.
The difference there is that the debate will be serious, the discussions
will be fruitful and constructive and the oversight and law-making roles
will be more distinguished. This could have a favorable effect on
the decisions of the People’s Assembly, enhancing its effectiveness and
restoring citizens’ confidence in it.Regarding the main issues that
preoccupy the Brotherhood deputies, they revolve around three major
questions:First, the question of political reform and
constitutional amendment, bearing in mind that it represents the true and
natural point of departure for all other kinds of
reforms;Second, the question of education, scientific
research and native development of technology since this constitutes the
mainstay of resurgence and the basis for progress and
  advance.Third, the question of comprehensive
development in all its dimensions: human, economic, social, cultural,
etc.In this regard, we cannot fail to emphasize the societal problems
from which the Egyptian citizenry suffers, i.e. unemployment, inflation
and increasing prices, housing crisis, health problems, environmental
  pollution, etc.
  Q: There are some
people who accuse Muslim Brothers of being against arts and creativity and
are concerned that your deputies in parliament will take an attitude
against everything implying culture and creativity. What do you
  think?
  A:In principle, we
are not against culture, arts and creativity. On the contrary, Islam
strongly encourages refining the public taste and confirms the need to
shape one’s mind, heart and conscience in such a way as to bring forth
man’s potentialities and prompt him to invent and innovate in all fields
of life. There is no doubt that the atmosphere of freedom is conducive to
a creative culture and creative arts, particularly if the latter express
the daily concerns of the citizen and the challenges he faces and if they
reflect the values of society and the public morality observed by people
of good nature and sound minds. On the other hand, the atmosphere of
dictatorship and despotism produces a kind of culture and art that is more
inclined towards abject trivialities, indecencies, depreciation of
people’s minds and deepening their ignorance. A nation that is capable of
innovation and creativity is necessarily capable of bringing about
resurgence, advance and progress. Some people consider that creativity is
born from the womb of suffering. Every society has peculiar cultural
identity and has its values, traditions and customs. I think it is the
right of the people’s deputies, or rather their duty, to maintain that
peculiarity and to play their role in bringing to accountability those
bodies or institutions that promote pornography, homosexuality or moral
perversion under the guise of creativity. It is essential to subject those
so-called creative works to examination and review by specialized and
expert people in various fields. Ultimately, it is the judiciary that has
the final say as to whether or not those works should be
  allowed.
  Q:Do

Boycott Israel [IslamCity] Operation Arrogance and Stupidity = two more years

2006-10-24 Thread G.Waleed Kavalec
Diplomat cites U.S. 'stupidity' in Iraq

By HAMZA HENDAWI, Associated Press Writer 1 hour, 35 minutes ago

BAGHDAD, Iraq - A senior U.S. diplomat said the United States had shown
arrogance and stupidity in Iraq but was now ready to talk with any group
except Al-Qaida in Iraq to facilitate national reconciliation.

In an interview with Al-Jazeera television aired late Saturday, Alberto
Fernandez, director of public diplomacy in the Bureau of Near Eastern
Affairs at the State Department offered an unusually candid assessment of
 America's war in Iraq.
We tried to do our best but I think there is much room for criticism
because, undoubtedly, there was arrogance and there was stupidity from the
United States in Iraq, he said.
We are open to dialogue because we all know that, at the end of the day,
the solution to the hell and the killings in Iraq is linked to an effective
Iraqi national reconciliation, he said, speaking in Arabic from Washington.
The Iraqi government is convinced of this.
The question of negotiations between the United States and insurgency
factions has repeatedly surfaced over the past two years, but details have
been sketchy. One issue that was often raised in connection with such
negotiations was the extent of amnesty the United States and its Iraqi
allies were willing to offer to the insurgents if they disarmed and joined
 the political process.
Fernandez spoke to the Qatar-based Al-Jazeera after a man claiming to
speak for Saddam Hussein's outlawed Baath Party told the network the United
States was seeking a face-saving exodus from Iraq and that insurgents were
ready to negotiate but won't lay down arms.
Abu Mohammed, a pseudonym for the man, appeared to set near impossible
conditions for the start of any talks with the Americans, including the
return to service of Saddam's armed forces, the annulment of every law
adopted since Saddam's ouster, the recognition of insurgent groups as the
sole representatives of the Iraqi people and a timetable for a gradual,
unconditional withdrawal of U.S. and other foreign troops in Iraq.
The occupier has started to search for a face-saving way out. The
resistance, with all its factions, is determined to continue fighting until
the enemy is brought down to his knees and sits on the negotiating table or
is dealt, with God's help, a humiliating defeat, he said. The man wore a
suit and appeared to be in his 40s but his face was concealed.
There is an element of the farcical in that statement, Fernandez said of
Abu Mohammed's comments. They are very removed from reality.
Still Fernandez warned that failure to pacify the widening sectarian
strife in Iraq as well as an enduring insurgency would damage the entire
 Middle East.
We are witnessing failure in Iraq and that's not the failure of the
United States alone but it is a disaster for the region. Failure in Iraq
will be a failure for the United States but a disaster for the region.
Although the actual identity of Abu Mohammed remains unknown, the
interview adds to growing indications that Iraq's Sunni insurgents sense the
tide may be turning against the United States and the Iraqi government it
 backs.
Fernandez's comments, on the other hand, join a series of sobering remarks
by President Bush and the U.S. military in recent days.
Bush this week conceded that right now it's tough for U.S. forces in
Iraq and on Saturday met with his top military and security advisers to
study new tactics to curb the staggering violence in Iraq. Three U.S.
Marines were killed also Saturday, making October the deadliest month for
American forces in Iraq this year.
U.S. military spokesman Maj. Gen. William B. Caldwell said attacks in
Baghdad were up 22 percent in the first three weeks of the holy Muslim month
of Ramadan despite a two-month old U.S.-Iraqi drive to crush violence in the
 Iraqi capital.
On Wednesday, and again on Friday, Sunni insurgents believed to belong to
al-Qaida in Iraq, staged military-like parades in the heart of five towns in
the vast and mainly desert province of Anbar, including the provincial
capital Ramadi. Some of these parades, in which hooded gunmen paraded with
their weapons, took place within striking distance of U.S. forces stationed
 in nearby bases.
The parades proved to be a propaganda success, with TV footage of
Wednesday's parade shown in many parts of the world, a likely embarrassment
for the U.S. military as well as the embattled Iraqi government.

Joint statement about the veil from Muslim groups, scholars and leaders
All praise is due to Allah and may His peace and blessings be upon our
Prophet Muhammad, his family and all his Companions.

In light of the ongoing debate over the veil and the comments made by Jack
Straw and others, we the undersigned would like to present the following
important advice to the Muslim community here in the UK, irrespective of
school of thought, sect or organisation.

The Muslim community should remain united regardless of its differences and
opinions about the veil. This request is in response to the countless number
of Quranic and Prophetic traditions that command Muslims to be united. Among
these is the Quranic verse that says, ‘Hold fast, all together, to the rope
of Allah and do not be disunited.’ [translation of 3:103]

We strongly condemn any attempt by any individual or organisation to create
disunity in the Muslim community. We see such a move as an attempt to create
friction and disruption in the whole society through indirect
discrimination. It is the nature of modern pluralistic societies to be
constituted from different communities coexisting peacefully as a single
political entity. It is completely irrational, when trying to achieve
community cohesion, to instigate disunity and racial tension.

The veil, irrespective of its specific juristic rulings, is an Islamic
practice and not a cultural or a customary one as is agreed by the consensus
of Muslim scholars; it is not open to debate. We advise all Muslims to
exercise extreme caution in this issue, since denying any part of Islam may
lead to disbelief. Not practicing something enjoined by Allah and His
Messenger (Salla-Allahu alaihi wa sallam) - regardless its legal status
(i.e., whether obligatory, recommended or praiseworthy) - is a shortcoming;
denying it is much more serious. Allah says in the Qur’an: ‘It is not for a
believer, man or woman, that they should have any option in their decision
when Allah and His Messenger have decreed a matter. And whoever disobeys
Allah and His Messenger has indeed strayed in a plain error.’ [translation
of 33:36]

We recognise the fact that Muslims hold different views regarding the veil,
but we urge all members of the Muslim community to keep this debate within
the realms of scholarly discussion amongst the people of knowledge and
authority in the Muslim community. Allah says in the Qur’an, ‘When there
comes to them news of some matter touching (public) safety or fear, they
spread it (among the

irrational statement of the Tunisian dictator . The dictator" President,

It is the repeatation of the statement of some French political

We should all protest against such inhuman rules and laws.

  Tunisia moves against headscarves

By Heba Saleh BBC News, Cairo

Islamic headscarves are banned in schools and
government officesThe Tunisian
authorities have launched a campaign against the Islamic veil worn by some
  women to cover their hair.
Police are applying with renewed vigour a decree dating back to 1981
which prohibits women from wearing Islamic headscarves in public places.
In recent days, senior officials have hit out at what they describe
as sectarian dress worn by people who use religion to hide political aims.

Human rights groups describe the move as unconstitutional.
Police in Tunisia have been stopping women on the streets and asking
them to remove their headscarves and sign pledges that they will not go
  back to wearing them.
Under a ban introduced in 1981, women in Tunisia are not allowed to
wear Islamic dress in schools or government offices. Those who insist on
  it face losing their jobs.
One woman said she was barred from entering her son's school wearing
  a headscarf.
  'Unconstitutional'
The President, Zine El Abidine Ali, described the headscarf as a
sectarian form of dress which had come into Tunisia uninvited.
Other officials said Islamic dress was being promoted by extremists
who exploited religion for their political ambitions.
Tunisian human rights activists accused the authorities of depriving
women of a basic freedom guaranteed by the constitution.
They say many people are upset by the ban, but that in a country
where dissent is not tolerated they dare not show their anger.
Mr Ben Ali has been keen to restrict the spread of ideas or signs and
religious symbols which could strengthen the country's outlawed Islamic
  opposition.
In the 1990s he moved to crush Tunisia's main moderate Islamic
movement when fighting erupted in neighbouring Algeria between Islamists
  and the state.

ISNA'S BID TO INTRODUCE UNIVERSAL ISLAMIC CALENDAR FAILS

ISNA's bid to introduce universal Islamic calendar fails
By Abdus Sattar Ghazali
Al-Jazeerah
October 23, 2006
http://www.aljazeerah.info/Opinion%20editorials/2006%20Opinion%20Editorials/October/23%20o/ISNA's%20bid%20to%20introduce%20universal%20Islamic%20calendar%20fails%20By%20Abdus%20Sattar%20Ghazali.htm

An attempt by the Islamic Society of North America (ISNA) to introduce
a universal Islamic or Hijra calendar failed as most of the Muslim
Islamic centers and mosques in America and Canada ignored its dates
for the beginning and end of the month of Ramadhan.

In August last, ISNA announced a five year Hijra calendar to unite the
global Muslim ummah and to get a designated Eid holiday from the
government. The five year pre-determined Islamic calendar is based
solely on astronomical calculations. ISNA has ruled that the actual
sighting of the moon which has been practiced by the majority of
Muslims in the 1427 year history of Islam since Hijra has to be
disregarded.

The ISNA calendar was also rejected by a number of prominent North
American Muslim groups including: The Hilal Sighting Committee of
North America, the Islamic Shariah Council, Islamic Circle of North
America (ICNA), a member of the Islamic Shura Council of North America
and Imam Warith Deen Mohammad, leader of the African American Muslims.
About 30 percent of Muslims in America belong to the African American
community.

In Canada , the Hilal Committee of Metropolitan Toronto and Vicinity,
which represents 75 Masjids and Islamic organizations, announced the
sighting of new moon after receiving witnesses.

Besides giving traditional arguments for moon sighting, the critiques
pointed out that for the ISNA calendar, the new Islamic Lunar month
begins at sunset of the day when the conjunction occurs before 12:00
Noon GMT. If this calculation is used than for the 12 month period
from this Rajab 1427 to Jumada al-Thani 1428, the new moon (crescent)
cannot be seen for at least five months (Rajab, Ramadan, Shawwal, Dhul
Qa'adah, and Rabi al-Thani) in North America. In other words, the
followers of the ISNA calendar will be obliged to begin the Islamic
month one day earlier, including Ramadan 1427.

Some scholars say that the ISNA calendar is nothing but an imitation
of the the Jewish community which abandoned the traditional moon
sighting to calculate their lunar calendar and adopted the calculated
calendar since the 4th century AD.

The Fiqah Council of North America , which originally suggested the
calendar that was endorsed by the ISNA, argues that the new moon is
just a sign of timings. Criterions of visibility are not agreed upon
even by the Muslim astronomers and scholars.

A research paper issued by ISNA to support its Hijra calendar argues
that GMT is an arbitrary convention accepted by the international
community to facilitate the timings and dates and that it has no
Islamic implications what so ever.

On the other hand, Mecca, being the sanctuary of all the Muslims,
enjoys a lot more significance than the GMT, therefore, Muslims should
take Mecca as the Islamic convention to determine Muslim months, it
said adding that the new month will start when the new Moon is born
before Sunset in Mecca and stays in the horizon after the Sunset even
if for a small amount of time.

The whole Muslim world would have the beginning of the new Month
within 24 hours from the birth of the new Moon in Mecca said the
paper written by Dr. Zulfiqar Ali Shah, a renowned American Muslim
scholar.

Syed Khalid Shaukat, national coordinator, and moon sighting
consultant to ISNA, expressing his disappointment over the issue,
says: In the present era of scientific and technological advancement,
three decades after man landed on the moon, some Muslims are still
avoiding the use of scientific knowledge for making an Islamic
calendar and get over with the feuds and having to wait till midnight
for a confirmation of moon sighting.

Shaukat stressed that Today, Muslims have expertise and access to
technology to understand the calculations of when and where the
sighting occurs. Recorded data shows how the science of moon sighting
is compared with the actual observations. The results show that
calculations of sighting and observations have matched every month
since 1993. Calculations of moon sighting and actual sighting are not
two different things for an Islamic Calendar when it was found that
they both match.

However, with the introduction of ISNA hijra calendar, the moon
sighting debate has become more complex in North America and as usual
the month of Ramadhan did not begin on the same day and Eid-ul-Fitr
was also celebrated on two days i.e. Oct. 23rd and Oct. 24th. It is
not clear what will be the impact of ISNA calendar in the long term
but at the present moment its attempt to unite the global Muslim Ummah
or at least the Muslim community in North America fired back.

It may be recalled out that a similar Hijra

Boycott Israel [IslamCity] University in Egypt embroiled in battle of the veil

2006-10-24 Thread Showkat Ali

University in Egypt embroiled in battle of the veil Former Islamic law dean says Koran does not say women must cover faces, it's old Bedouin tradition. http://www.middle-east-online.com/english/?id=17949By Alain Navarro - HELWAN, Egypt Egyptian students whose faces are completely hidden behind the veil have been banished from the residence halls at Helwan University under threat of expulsion in what could be called the battle of the veil. "They say nothing to indecent girls, but we -- the daughters of Islam -- are being hounded," protests 21-year-old student Iman Ahmed. Only her eyes are showing through the slit in her black face veil, called a niqab. Even though the vast majority of female Muslim students already wear the headscarf, known as a hijab, those who chose more cover up of the face veil were told to take
it off or quit the student digs. The ultimatum provoked a vicious controversy. It was handed down by Abdel al-Hay Ebaid, dean of Helwan University located on the edge of a large industrial estate 30 kilometres (19 miles) from Cairo. Some 2,800 female students are housed in the seven women's residence halls. "What I want is to protect students against those individuals who might worm their way in, disguised under a face veil," Ebaid says of the ban, adding: "Their parents would kill me if a man infiltrated the women's halls." Those in the anti-veil camp are congratulating themselves that the brake has been put on fanaticism, while those who support the veil say the ultimatum is an invasion of their freedom. "This ban restricts my freedom," says student teacher Rihan Sami, 21, completely veiled and gloved. "The veil is my choice… in battling against the shamelessness that abounds
here." In order to gain access to the campus, girls wearing the full veil must pass through a small office where a woman inspector checks them behind a curtain to verify their identities against a list of registered students. "They only have to do the same thing for the halls of residence," argues Sami, adding that she decided to no longer wear the veil there in order to avoid being expelled. Demonstrations against the ban were quickly staged by a "committee of free students. The veil may be everywhere on campus, but there are many students who also choose to sport versions in vibrant colours -- and also to wear it along with figure-hugging outfits. "It is also a fashion statement, not just an item of religious clothing," according to male student Ahmed Raouf. Other universities in Egypt such as Ain Shams and AUC, the American University of Cairo -- the university of choice for
the elite -- have tried in recent years to oppose the march of the veil. But not all devout Muslims believe in the full veil. "I don't like it," says Soad Saleh, a professor of Islamic law and former dean of the women's faculty of Islamic studies at Al-Azhar University, which is more than a thousand years old. Her face framed in a blue headband under a white veil, this reformist Muslim -- nicknamed the Women's Mufti -- says she wants to "purge Islam of false concepts: the Koran does not say women have to cover their faces, it's an old Bedouin tradition". She questioned the wearing of the face veil during an appearance on the Dream satellite television channel. The controversy in Egypt echoes recent comments against the face veil by Jack Straw, the leader of Britain's House of Commons and a former foreign minister. At Helwan University, meanwhile, the women students can continue to
wear either the headscarf or the face veil. But if they want access to the women's residences there must be no cover-up. Comment:Egypt follows the Jack Straw and British example instead of following the Quran and Sunnah. Many women choose to wear the veil because even with a hijab on women get unwanted attention from some perverted men, hence by covering the face they personally feel more comfortable and if they are not harming anyone what is the problem?Women have been wearing the veil in Egypt for a very long time with no problems at all reported except from the Muslims in Government who have made the west their qibla and feel dismay because Muslim women wearing western clothing is on the decline and is indicative of Muslims coming back to Islam and rejecting non-Islamic ideas and values. The struggle between the truth and falsehood will
continue as foretold in the Quran and as seen from the Prophet Muhammed saw life and we all know the truth will triumph over evil and wickedness no matter how beautifully it is disguised and packaged. Muslims take strength from the actions of your sisters who refuse to compromise and bow to anyone or thing other than Allah swt.www.Islamic-education.blogspot.com Send instant messages to your online friends http://uk.messenger.yahoo.com

Boycott Israel [IslamCity] Ridlley on Hijab and other issues- her article in Washington post -- report

2006-10-24 Thread S A Hannan

Dear members,

Assalamu Alaikum. Please read this report on Yvonne
Ridley's article published in Washington Post. I may add that now -a- days Hijab
is the term used for Woman's Islamic dress pattern and Niqab ( veil )for
face cover. However , sometimes veil is also used as a translation of
Hijab . The main point in this regard is that the majority of Fuqaha do not
consider niqab as a requirement but some scholars think niqab to be a
requirement. This is basically due to different interpretation of verse 31 of
Sura Nisa of the Quran.

Ridley has explained her points very
clearly.

Ignorance Behind Veil Uproar:
Ridley

IslamOnline.net Newspapers

  "Under Islam, I am
respected. It tells me that I have a right to an
education and that it is my duty to seek out
  knowledge," said Ridley.
CAIRO ? Award-winning British reporter
Yvonne Ridley has blamed the ignorance of Western
politicians and media for the ongoing debate about the
face-veil and other misconceptions about the status of
women in Islam.
"Having been on both sides of the veil,
I can tell you that most Western male politicians and
journalists who lament the oppression of women in the
Islamic world have no idea what they are talking about,"
Ridley, who reverted to Islam two years after a brief
detention by Taliban, wrote in the Washington Post
Sunday, October 22.
Ridley used to consider the veil as a
mark of women oppression but changed hearts after
reading about Islam and the Noble Qur'an.
"I'd been expecting Qur'an chapters on
how to beat your wife and oppress your daughters;
instead, I found passages promoting the liberation of
women."
British former foreign minister Jack
Straw has stirred an uproar after recently revealing he
used to ask Muslim women to show their faces during
meetings with him, describing the face veil as a symbol
of separation.
"It is with disgust and dismay that I
watch here in Britain ?Straw describes the Muslim niqab
as an unwelcome barrier to integration," said a mocking
Ridley.
"Even British government ministers
Gordon Brown and John Reid have made disparaging remarks
about the niqab -- and they hail from across the
Scottish border, where men wear skirts."
Respected
Ridley said Western politicians and
media are wrongly blaming Islam for cultural customs in
the Muslim world.
"They go on about veils, child brides,
female circumcision, honor killings and forced
marriages, and they wrongly blame Islam for all this --
their arrogance surpassed only by their ignorance," she

Boycott Israel [IslamCity] Extract from Pig intestine mixed in Cola Drinks IMPORTANT

2006-10-24 Thread MOODY HONA BURI BAAT NAHI HAY

Shocking / Bad News : Pepsi and Coca Cola contains extract from Pork (Pig). Most of the people avoid Pepsi and Coca-Cola for various reasons. Because of harmful chemical contents such as excessive carbonates, etc. Because it is a Jewish product and they are supporting and funding Israel's terrorist activities. Now there is yet another reason which is more dangerous i.e. "Haraam" contents in these drinks. The following news article has been published in Al-Riyadh Newspaper on 20th August 2006. This is the translation of the news article. The scientific and medical research says that drinking Pepsi Cola leads to cancer because the key element is taken from Pigs sausage. The heavenly books Quran, Bible and Torah forbids eating Pork, as it is the only animal that eats dirt, dung and urine, which makes lethal and deadly fabric polluted germs and microbes. According to a report published in Jordanian magazine, the head of
Delhi University's Science and Technology Center, Dr. Mangoshada scientifically proved that the key element in Pepsi and Cola contains extract from the intestines of Pig which causes cancer and other deadly diseases. The Indian university conducted tests on the impact of drinking Pepsi and Coca Cola which proved that drinking them lead to more rapid heart rate and low pressure. Also drinking 6 bottles of Pepsi or Cola at a time causes instant death. It also contains chemicals such as carbonic and phosphoric acids, citric acid which harms teeth and causes bone fragility. Bones kept in the Cup of Pepsi melts during the week knowing that the bones of the dead remain in the grave for thirty years. Research itself confirmed that the calcium dissolved in Pepsi and it weakens the bladder, kidneys, kills the pancreatic, leads to diabetes and infectious diseases. Pepsi or Coca-Cola lovers nothing to worry as it is not the only drinks available on this earth, as we have
other healthy alternatives such as natural fruit juices, canned coconut water, flavored milks, buttermilk etc., all of them are conveniently available even in the small stores. SPECIALLY IN EID WE USE PEPSI AND COCA COLA QUITE FREQUENTLY SO PLEASE BE AWARE OF THESE DRINKS IT IS INJURIOUS FOR YOUR HEALTH AND HARAM INGREDIENTS ARE ADD IN THESE DRINKS .

Boycott Israel [IslamCity] IMAM JAMIL AL-AMIN: LIBERATING THE SOUL

2006-10-24 Thread islamiccommunitynet
IMAM JAMIL AL-AMIN: LIBERATING THE SOUL

Imam Jamil Al-Amin: Liberating the Soul
Wisdom from within prison walls
From: Allah's Slave
Jamil Abdullah Al-Amin
New Trend Mag
Ramadan 28,1427/October 22, 2006
http://www.newtrendmag.org/ntma1077.htm

[With thanks to Br. Nadim Ali, Atlanta, and Imam Khalil Abdur Rahman,
Greensboro, NC.]

I begin in the name of Allah, Most Gracious, Most Merciful. I bear
witness that there is only One God, Worthy of All Praise and Worship,
and He is Allah. I pray that Allah's Peace and Blessings be upon the
Prophet of Allah, Muhammad son of Abdullah, and peace be unto his
family and those who follow him. I seek Allah's Protection from Satan
the Rejected. I ask Allah to guide my heart and my tongue. I seek
Allah's Protection from misleading and from being mislead, from
betraying and being betrayed into ignorance by others.

As-Salamu Alaykum,
O You who Believe:

Allah, subhanahu wa ta'ala (the Exalted and Glorified), has revealed:
If there were, in the Heavens and the Earth, other gods besides
Allah, there would have been confusion in both! But glory to Allah,
The Lord of The Throne; (High is He) above what they attribute to Him!
He cannot be questioned for His doings, but they will be questioned
(for theirs). Or have they taken for worship (other) gods besides Him?
Say, ?Bring your convincing proof: this is the Message of those with
me and the Message of those before me. But most of them know not the
Truth, and they turn away (Qur'an 21:22-24).

Belief (faith) is as much an integral part of the human makeup as the
intellect (mind) and physique (body); it is the bridge between action
and non-action, resistance and passivity, struggle and acquiescence:
the difference among mankind is the quality of belief as it is
assessed by his Creator. Belief, in any lesser or more quantity may
assume any given value or set of values. Values based upon the
incorrect belief (disbelief) are incapable of producing the moral
incentives to bring about human ascension, which is necessary for a
true revolutionary progression. Yet, every offspring of Adam, alaihi
salaam, is coded before being brought into this life with belief DNA:

And [mention] when your Lord took from the children of Adam from
their loinstheir descendants and made them testify of themselves,
[saying to them], ?Am I not your Lord? They said, ?Yes, we have
testified. [This]lest you should say on the Day of Resurrection,
'Indeed, we were of this unaware.' [lest] you say, ?It was only that
our fathers associated [others in worship] with Allah before , and we
were but descendants after them. Then would You destroy us for what
the falsifiers havedone? And thus do We [explain in] detail the
verses, and perhaps they will return (7:172-174).

The Atheist belief is that he does not believe: disbelief is still
belief. Western Philosophical Materialism by definition is Atheistic.
A philosopher is one who kicks up dust and then complains that he
cannot see. Greco-Roman philosophy and sciences evolve from a math
that is predicated without the concept of zero. Any science of
discipline (be it philosophy or math) without the concept of zero as a
fundamental building block in its inception is consigned to error.

Without the understanding of zero, there can be no concept of
ad-infinitum (infinity). It can only deal with beginning and ending,
Alpha to Omega, no insight (belief) in that without beginning and
without end (True Divinity).

This is why manmade -isms are unmindful of the fear of the day,
When the female (infant) buried alive shall be asked, for what sin
was she killed? (81: 8-9). Their religion (belief system) may make
dollars, but it doesn't make sense. These isms (ideas) will be
unsuccessful, in bringing about the true evolution of man
(revolution), as disbelief has always been. O you who Believe: You are
the best of people, evolved for mankind, enjoining what is right,
forbidding what is wrong, and believing in Allah (3:110).

Islam is a consciousness of the Will and Plan of Allah (swt) and a
joyful submission to that Will and Plan. True commitment demands
consistency. This is firmness of purpose. Allah (swt) says, We have
created man in the embrace of hardship (90:4). He (swt) has created
man for toil and struggle, and conscious struggle is an inescapable
part of reality.

Truth and falsehood will always be in conflict, and truth must always
win in the end, for it is as Allah (swt) Wills. Allah (swt) has willed
His Truth to triumph through those who believe in Him.

Truth is a trust, falsehood is a treason. Every claim must and will be
tested; faith is a claim. Our faith is a bedrock of conscious struggle
and must be tested. Reality cannot be learned by the intellect alone;
it must be comprehended by the total personality, by the imagination
as well as the mind, a human revolution. To be healthy, our life must
be molded and shaped by a High Moral System, which can have no basis
except that which is Favored by our Creator.

The Prophet,
