Dear Brother Said, Thankyou for your kind wishes. Herbert is a Muslim, he
has been for many years. His faith keeps him strong! Allah is extremely
important to both of us. The block Herbert's on , on death row, has many Muslim
inhabitants. Herbert's black and i'm white and we have both had to tolerate
several racist / anti Islamic remarks. Complaining only makes it worse. Herbert
is innocent, he doesn't deserve this but we also know that Allah will deliver
us from this situation when the time's right. Herbert was a muslim long before
this all happened !
  May Allah bless you!

by a Police Officer. Recently Herbert filed a perjury case against the
witnesses in his Criminal case, ie. the cops. He was then appointed the same
counsel he'd had in his original trial so he appealed to the Attorney General
to stand down that counsel and appoint another. This was denied! Three times in
recent months we've been advised to DROP the perjury case as it's ' a fast
track to his execution!' WHY? What are 'they' afraid of? 'They' know we can't
afford the Attorney we need to unravel Herberts case and 'they' know the
perjury case would prove Herberts innocence!! Even though we know the perjury
case would secure his innocence, how can we take the risk 'they'll' execute him
to keep the truth from coming out?? We're in a no win situation!!!
This is so wrong. Herbert is INNOCENT yet 'they'll' execute an innocent man to
save themselves. Where's the justice? So please pray for a miracle
Insha-allah. Just something else i'd like to share with the group..I'm

Boycott Israel [IslamCity] The Islamic Concept of Life

2007-09-23 Thread Shahid Khan

* *

*The Islamic Concept of Life *

IN Islam, man's entire individual and social life is an exercise in
developing and strengthening his relationship with Allah. The starting point
of our religion consists of the acceptance of this relationship by man 's
intellect and will. Islam means submission to the will of Allah in all
aspects of life. The Islamic code of conduct is known as the Shariah. Its
sources are the Qur'an and the Sunnah of the Prophet (pbuh).

The final Book of Allah and His final Messenger stand today as the
repositories of this truth. Everyone who agrees that the concept of Reality
expounded by the Prophet, and the Holy Book is true, should step forward and
surrender himself to the Will of Allah. It is this submission which is
called Islam, the result of Iman in actual life. And those who of their own
freewill accept Allah as their Sovereign, surrender to His Divine will and
undertake to regulate their lives in accordance with His commandments, are
called Muslims.

All those persons who thus surrender themselves are welded into a community
and that is how the 'Muslim Society' comes into being. It is an ideological
society, radically different from those which are founded on the basis of
race, color or territory. It is the result of a deliberate choice, the
outcome of a 'contract ' which takes place between human beings and their
Creator. Those who enter into this contract undertake to recognize Allah as
their Sovereign, His guidance as supreme and His injunctions as absolute
Law. They also undertake to accept, without question, His word as to what is
good or evil, right or wrong, permissible or prohibited. In short, freedoms
in the Islamic society are limited by the commandments of the Omniscient
Allah. In other words, it is Allah and not man whose will is the primary
source of Law in a Muslim society. When such a society comes into existence,
the Book and the Messenger prescribe for it a code of life called the
Shariah and this society is bound to conform to it by virtue of the contract
it has entered into. It is, therefore, inconceivable that a real Muslim
society can deliberately adopt any other system of life than that based on
the Shariah. If it does so, its contract is ipso facto broken and it becomes
'un-Islamic. '

But we must clearly distinguish between the everyday sins of the individual
and a deliberate revolt against the Shariah. The former may not mean a
breaking of the contract, while the latter most certainly would. The point
that should be clearly understood is that if an Islamic society consciously
resolves not to accept the Shariah, and decides to enact its own
constitution and laws or borrows them from any other source in disregard of
the Shariah, such a society breaks its contract with Allah and forfeits its
right to be called 'Islamic. '

Israeli policies target Palestinian families
Ida Audeh, The Electronic Intifada, Sep 18, 2007

Israel's practice of denying family reunification permits and denying entry to
foreign passport holders (many but not all of whom are of Palestinian origin)
is part of a campaign of ridding the occupied territories (including East
Jerusalem) of Palestinians and tightly controlling those it is obliged to
retain. The practice takes aim at Palestinian families: it splits families
apart, denies Palestinian communities access to foreign and expatriate talent,
deprives the economically hard-hit territories of foreign currency, and further
isolates the Palestinians under occupation.

The Campaign for the Right of Entry/Re-Entry to the Palestinian Occupied
Territories (www.righttoenter.ps) estimates that more than 150,000 family
reunification applications were submitted to the Israeli occupation authorities
between 1973 and 1982 but that only 1,000 were approved each year. Between 1983
and 2000, the annual number of approved applications has fluctuated between
1,000 and 3,000. Since the second intifada began in September 2000, Israel has
not processed about 120,000 family reunification applications. Multiply that by
four or five (a conservative estimate; most Palestinian families are much
larger), and the number of people affected by the Israeli refusal to grant
residency rights to Palestinians with foreign passports becomes apparent. As
applied to Palestinian residents in East Jerusalem, the policy is clearly
designed to drive out as many indigenous Palestinians as possible, with the aim
of maintaining a Jewish majority in the city.

Boycott Israel [IslamCity] Bollywood star branded Muslim 'non-believer' after Hindu festival

2007-09-23 Thread Showkat Ali
Bollywood star branded Muslim 'non-believer' after Hindu festival

LUCKNOW, India (AFP) — Bollywood bad boy Salman Khan is in hot water again --
this time with some of the country's Muslim clerics.

Khan, known for playing a tough guy in his films, has been branded a
non-believer and ordered to reaffirm his faith in Islam after participating
in a festival honouring the Hindu elephant god Ganesh in Mumbai on Tuesday.

The order came from scholars at the influential Daarul-Ifta Manzare school in
northern Uttar Pradesh state, which claims hundreds of thousands of followers
among India's approximately 140 million Muslims.

Be it a pauper or a king, everyone has to follow the dictates of Islam --
nobody has been given the exemption to bypass the tenants of the religion,
religious scholar Nafeez Khan told AFP by telephone.
The 41-year-old actor must reaffirm his faith before an imam and two witnesses,
the cleric said, describing the religious decree as right and appropriate.

Khan was released on bail last month pending his appeal against a conviction
for killing protected wildlife. He also faces charges of manslaughter after a
road accident in 2002 left one person dead and four injured.

  Comment:
This is one of the problems of Muslims living as a minority in India, some
Muslims will do anything to fit in, but still the Hindu Fanatic parties will
demand more. So actions like this attempting to integrate and gain acceptance
achieve nothing except compromise ones own belief.

The Islamic scholars are correct when they say that everyone must follow the
teachings of Islam regardless of social class and its a good thing that they
are speaking out about such issues. It is their silence in the past about
societal issues which has led to Muslims only practicing Islam inside the
masjid and follwoing non-Islam in the rest of their lives.

Ibn Abbas’s (ra) debate with Harooreyya (Hawarej)
  Darultawhid Forum
Abdurrazzak, Abu Nuaym, Bayhakee and others

Narrated from Ibn Abbas, He said: Hawarij came together in a place with hatred
and agreed upon to oppose (by fighting) with Ali (ra) and the Prophet (saw)’s
ashab (companions) who stayed with Ali (ra). He {Ibn Abbas (ra)} said: A man
came and he started saying O Amir al Muminun (chief) this group will oppose
you. Ali (ra) replied: Leave them alone until they come and fight with me. For
they will (fight with me).

One day I told Ali (ra) O Amir al Muminun delay the pray so I will not miss,
and meantime I will go and talk to them. He (Ali) said: I (Ali) fear they will
hurt you. I (Ibn Abbas) replied: No, They won’t hurt me insha’Allah. I am a
kind man who is gentile towards everyone and I never hurt anyone.

Ibni Abbas (ra) said: I wore one of the most beautiful cloths from this
yamamniyya (a kind of fabric). (Abu Zammal added: Ibni Abbas was a beautiful,
handsome man) Ibni Abbas said: I went the place they were at. They were resting
hence it was noon. I’ve never seen anyone with strong effort in ibadaah as
them. Their hands were like the knees of camels. (Due to doing so much ibadaah
their hands got marked) The mark of sujuud (worship) could be seen on their
faces easily. They had washed cloths on. Their faces were thin due to lack of
sleep.

When I arrived there they asked me: “What about this cloth you are wearing?”
Ibni Abbas: “Do you criticize me with this? I saw better one on the prophet
(saw) and then this verse revealed: “Say: Who hath forbidden the beautiful
(gifts) of Allah, which He hath produced for His servants, and the things,
clean and pure, (which He hath provided) for sustenance?”” (al-Araf 32)

“Why did you come here?” they asked. Ibn Abbas replied: “I came here to mention
to you about the people who were the companions of the prophet (saw), and the
ones whom the verses of Qur’an was revealed on, none of them are here with
you.” Some of them said: “Do not argue with Quraish. Allah (swt) stated: “They
are a contentious people”” (az-Zukhruf 58) Two or three of them said: “Talk to
them.”

Ibni Abbas said: “What is your problem with the cousin and the son in-law of
the prophet (saw), and the first one to have iman, and the one whom the
companions stand with?” They said: “We opposed him with three things.” Ibn
Abbas said: “What are they?”

They replied: “The first is that He obtained an arbitrator in the deen of
Allah. Whereas Allah (swt) stated: “the command is for none but Allah.” (Yusuf
40). After Allah’s statement what will be left for the people to rule on?”
“What else?” said Ibn Abbas. They replied: “Ali fought with some people but he
did not take any slave nor spoil (ganimaah). If the ones whom he fought with
were kaafir their merchandise should be permissible for Ali. (He should take
their goods as capture) If they were Muslims, it was not permissible to shed
their blood.” “What else?” said Ibn Abbas. They replied: “He disclaimed from
the title of being Amir al Muminun. If he is not Amir al Muminun then he is
Amir al kafirun.” “Do you have any other claim?” asked Ibn Abbas. They said:
“These are enough for us.”

Ibni Abbas: “If I provide evidence from Allah’s (swt) muhkam book and His (swt)
prophets’ (saw) sunnah would you change your claims?” They replied: “Yes” Ibn
Abbas continued: “About your opinion of mankind’s ruling in the deen of Allah
(swt); Allah (swt) stated: from ““O ye who believe! Kill not game while in the
sacred precincts or in pilgrim garb...” to “as adjudged by two just men among
you” (al-Maeda 95) regarding a wife and her husband Allah (swt) stated: “If ye
fear a breach between them twain, appoint (two) arbiters, one from his family,
and the other from hers” (an-Nisa 35) Now, I am asking you with administration
to you with the oath of Allah (swt): Is it better to give ruling to stop
peoples’ killing each other, to bring them together, or to give ruling on its
worth will be only a quarter of a dirham a rabbit; and a few women? Moreover
you know that if He (swt) wished He (swt) would give the hukm (ruling) and He
(swt) would not leave the hukm for the mankind.”
They said: “Wallahi {oath of the name of Allah (swt)} to stop peoples’ killing
each other, to bring them together is better.”

Ibn Abbas continued: “About your opinion of Ali fought with the people but he

Gaza teen crushed to death by israeli bulldozer
Yet another gruesome example of israel's unbridled brutality in its relentless
quest for more land.

A 16-year-old Palestinian boy was killed on Thursday after being run over by an
Israeli army bulldozer during a military incursion in the Gaza Strip, medics
and witnesses said.

Mahmud Kayed was run over by the bulldozer when it lurched towards a group of
youths throwing rocks at the vehicle during the army incursion in the Al-Bureij
refugee camp, they said.

Four Palestinians, including two militants from the Hamas movement that has
ruled Gaza for three months, were wounded by Israeli gunfire during the
operation, medics said.

The two militants, one of whom was seriously wounded, were injured by
helicopter fire, medics said.

Israeli bulldozers were ripping up farmland in the area, while soldiers were
going house to house searching for militants and weapons, they said.

No comment from the Israeli army was immediately available.

The death brings to 5,866 the number of people killed since the start of the
second Palestinian uprising in in September 2000, the vast majority of them
Palestinians, according to an AFP tally.

It figures - no comment from israelis.

What's there to say?

The facts speak for themselves.

israelis have no regard whatsoever for human lives other than their own.

How much more evidence do Americans need before they recognize israelis for
what they really are - a murderous, fanatical band of thieves - operating on
our tax dollars.

Re: Boycott Israel [IslamCity] Why do we lack character

2007-09-23 Thread leon adrianto
Because, people are selfish. They say they do everythings in this world for the
almighty God, for the almighty ALLAH swt; and yet what they are doing are
really for themselves. They are all hypocrites. If ALLAH swt doesnt promise
them anything for their prayers, fasting, and their good deeds, would they do
what are told for them to do. I doubted it. To estabished character, one has to
be sincere in what they are doing, be it in prayers, fasting, or any good
deeds, even if ALLAH doesnt reward them with heaven.

Muhammad Latif Chaudhery@yahoo.com wrote: Respected
Scholars
My question is why do we lack character when we have with us a forceful
mechanism of social control to ward off evil. We often recite Prayer Keeps
us away from Indecency and Evil. I add to it a few more verses from the book of
Allah saying:

1.Worship Allah (2:21) so that you may ward off evil.تقون
لعلكم

2.Uphold strongly what has been given and remember its contents (2:63,
7:171)
so that you may ward off evil.تقون لعلكم

3.Observe Law of equivalence (2:179) so that you ward off evil.تقون
 لعلكم

4.Fast during Ramadan (3:183)so that you may ward off evil.تقون
لعلكم

5.Do not touch the orphans’ money except in the most righteous manner,
until they reach maturity.Give full weight and full measure when you trade,
equitably.Be absolutely just when you bear witness, even against your
relatives..Fulfill your covenant with God. ( 6:152-153) so that you may
ward off evil. (تتقون لعلكم ) laAAallakum tattaqoona

The question is do we ever keep this objective in mind when offering Salat or
perfoming other functions? My observation is NO, NEVER, NOT AT ALL.
There is not a word to this effect in he liturgy of our saum-o-salat and
frame work of other rituals. I have yet to see a supplication attached to any
form of worship seeking abstention from indecency and evil. We only seek
forgiveness for the crimes we commit. How then we expect to develop the
quality of escaping indecency and evil when we neither wish nor intend and
never pray for it.? The result is we are all good save lack of moral character.

Who has distracted us from the right path? and when shall we revert? Please
do comment.

Please do not read to contradict and refute,
nor to believe and take it for granted,
but to weigh and consider.

dead. An audacious raid on a Syrian target 50 miles from the Iraqi border was
under way.

At a rendezvous point on the ground, a Shaldag air force commando team was
waiting to direct their laser beams at the target for the approaching jets. The
team had arrived a day earlier, taking up position near a large underground
depot. Soon the bunkers were in flames.

Ten days after the jets reached home, their mission was the focus of intense
speculation this weekend amid claims that Israel believed it had destroyed a
cache of nuclear materials from North Korea.

The Israeli government was not saying. “The security sources and IDF
[Israeli Defence Forces] soldiers are demonstrating unusual courage,” said
Ehud Olmert, the prime minister. “We naturally cannot always show the public
our cards.”

The Syrians were also keeping mum. “I cannot reveal the details,” said
Farouk al-Sharaa, the vice-president. “All I can say is the military and
political echelon is looking into a series of responses as we speak. Results
are forthcoming.” The official story that the target comprised weapons
destined for Hezbollah, the Iranian-backed Lebanese Shi’ite group, appeared
to be crumbling in the face of widespread scepticism.

Andrew Semmel, a senior US State Department official, said Syria might have
obtained nuclear equipment from “secret suppliers”, and added that there
were a “number of foreign technicians” in the country.

Asked if they could be North Korean, he replied: “There are North Korean
people there. There’s no question about that.” He said a network run by AQ
Khan, the disgraced creator of Pakistan’s nuclear weapons, could be involved.

But why would nuclear material be in Syria? Known to have chemical weapons,
was it seeking to bolster its arsenal with something even more deadly?

Alternatively, could it be hiding equipment for North Korea, enabling Kim
Jong-il to pretend to be giving up his nuclear programme in exchange for
economic aid? Or was the material bound for Iran, as some authorities in
America suggest?

According to Israeli sources, preparations for the attack had been going on
since late spring, when Meir Dagan, the head of Mossad, presented Olmert with
evidence that Syria was seeking to buy a nuclear device from North Korea.

The Israeli spy chief apparently feared such a device could eventually be
installed on North-Korean-made Scud-C missiles.

“This was supposed to be a devastating Syrian surprise for Israel,” said
an Israeli source. “We’ve known for a long time that Syria has deadly
chemical warheads on its Scuds, but Israel can’t live with a nuclear
warhead.”

An expert on the Middle East, who has spoken to Israeli participants in the
raid, told yesterday’s Washington Post that the timing of the raid on
September 6 appeared to be linked to the arrival three days earlier of a ship
carrying North Korean material labelled as cement but suspected of concealing
nuclear equipment.

The target was identified as a northern Syrian facility that purported to be
an agricultural research centre on the Euphrates river. Israel had been
monitoring it for some time, concerned that it was being used to extract
uranium from phosphates.

According to an Israeli air force source, the Israeli satellite Ofek 7,
launched in June, was diverted from Iran to Syria. It sent out high-quality
images of a northeastern area every 90 minutes, making it easy for air force
specialists to spot the facility.

Early in the summer Ehud Barak, the defence minister, had given the order to
double Israeli forces on its Golan Heights border with Syria in anticipation of
possible retaliation by Damascus in the event of air strikes.

Sergei Kirpichenko, the Russian ambassador to Syria, warned President Bashar
al-Assad last month that Israel was planning an attack, but suggested the
target was the Golan Heights.

Boycott Israel [IslamCity] 99 Names of Allah: AL- ADHEEM (The All-Glorious)

2007-09-23 Thread looney crazy
99 Names of Allah: AL- ‘ADHEEM (The All-Glorious)

And (all) the Most Beautiful Names belong to Allâh, so call on Him by them.
7:180

  AL- ‘ADHEEM
  The All-Glorious
To Him belongs all that is in the heavens and all that is in the earth, and
He is the Most High, the All-Glorious . ( Surat ash-Shura, 42:4)
Allah's might and grandeur is surely beyond humanity's grasp. Yet, within the
limits of their wisdom, people can still see and grasp His might. Indeed, the
entire universe abounds with countless examples that indicate His greatness. A
closer look at our own planet will make people feel His sublimity.
The heavens carrying clouds that weigh many tons, mountains rising thousands of
meters in the air, oceans harboring millions of living beings, a lightening
flash and the noise of thunder following it, and billions of living beings that
have submitted to Allah—all of these and countless other details are clear
signs of Allah's existence.
To have a better grasp of our Lord's grandeur, let's move beyond the limits of
our world and think: We live in an unbounded space, the universe, which
contains billions of galaxies with countless billions of stars. We live in one
of these galaxies on a planet called Earth, which rotates about its axis at a
velocity of about 1.670 kilometers an hour. Just thinking on these vast figures
make us realize that our existence in the universe is as insignificant as the
existence of a dust particle on Earth.
As this example also reveals, people given to sincere contemplation can grasp
the majesty of their Lord, Who creates billions of galaxies and holds all of
them in His hand. In one verse, Allah informs us about His beautiful names:
Allâh! Lâ ilâha illa Huwa (none has the right to be worshipped but He), the
Ever Living, the One Who sustains and protects all that exists. Neither
slumber, nor sleep overtake Him. To Him belongs whatever is in the heavens and
whatever is on earth. Who is he that can intercede with Him except with His
Permission? He knows what happens to them (His creatures) in this world, and
what will happen to them in the Hereafter . And they will never compass
anything of His Knowledge except that which He wills. His Kursî extends over
the heavens and the earth, and He feels no fatigue in guarding and preserving
them. And He is the Most High, the All-Glorious. [This Verse 2:255 is called
Ayat-ul-Kursî.] ( Surat al-Baqara, 2:255)

…And whoever fears Allaah – He will make for him a way out – And will provide
for him from where he does not expect. And whoever relies upon Allaah – then He
is sufficient for him. Indeed Allaah will accomplish His purpose. Allaah has
already set for everything a [decreed] extent. [At-Talaaq: 2-3]

Boycott Israel [IslamCity] The Spiritual Path of Islam

2007-09-23 Thread Shahid Khan

*The Spiritual Path of Islam *

WHAT is the spiritual path in Islam and what is its place in the life as a
whole? To answer this it is necessary to study carefully the difference
between the Islamic concept of spirituality and that of other religions and
ideologies. Without a clear understanding of this difference it often
happens that, when talking about the spirituality in Islam, many of the
vague notions associated with the word 'spiritual' unconsciously come to
mind; it then becomes difficult for one to comprehend that this spirituality
of Islam not only transcends the dualism of spirit and matter but is the
nucleus of its integrated and unified concept of life. The idea which has
influenced most the climate of philosophical and religious thought is that
body and soul are mutually antagonistic, and can develop only at each other's
expense. For the soul, the body is a prison and the activities of daily life
are the shackles which keep it in bondage and arrest its growth. This has
inevitably led to the universe being divided into the spiritual and the
secular.

Those who chose the secular path were convinced that they could not meet the
demands of spirituality, and thus they led highly material and hedonistic
lives. All spheres of worldly activity, whether social, political, economic
or cultural, were deprived of the light of spirituality; injustice and
tyranny were the result.

Conversely, those who wanted to tread the path of spiritual excellence came
to see themselves as 'noble outcasts' from the world. They believed that it
was impossible for spiritual growth to be compatible with a 'normal' life.
In their view physical self-denial and mortification of the flesh were
necessary for the development and perfection of the spirit. They invented
spiritual exercises and ascetic practices which killed physical desires and
dulled the body's senses. They regarded forests, mountains and other
solitary places as ideal for spiritual development because the hustle and
bustle of life would not interfere with their meditations. They could not
conceive of spiritual development except through withdrawal from the world.

The Islamic viewpoint differs radically from these approaches. According to
Islam, Allah has appointed the human soul as His Khalifah (vicegerent) in
this world. He has invested it with a certain authority, and given it
certain responsibilities and obligations for the fulfillment of which He has
endowed it with the best and most suitable physical frame.

The body has been created with the sole object of allowing the soul to use
it in the exercise of its authority and the fulfillment of its duties and
responsibilities. The body is not a prison for the soul, but its workshop or
factory; and if the soul is to grow and develop, it is only through this
workshop.

Consequently, this world is not a place of punishment in which the human
soul unfortunately finds itself, but a field in which Allah has sent it to
work and do its duty towards Him.

Boycott Israel [IslamCity] Virtues of Ramadhaan :HADITH NO. 6

2007-09-23 Thread adil naveed
Virtues of Ramadhaan
by Sheikhul Hadith Maulana Muhammad Zakariyya
  HADITH NO. 6
Abu Hurairah (Radhiallaahu anhu) reports: Rasulullah (Sallallaahu alaihi
wasallam) said: There are three people whose Du'aa is not rejected; the
fasting person until he breaks the fast, the just ruler, and the oppressed
person, whose 'Dua' Allah lifts above the clouds and opens unto it the doors of
heaven, and Allah says: I swear by My honour, verily I shall assist you, even
though it may be after some time.
  COMMENTARY
In 'Durr Manthur' it is reported from Aa'isha (Radhiallahu anha) that, when
Ramadhan appeared, the colour of Rasulullah's face used to change. He then used
to increase his Salaat, become even more humble in his Duaas and exhibit
even more fear of Allah. According to another report, he hardly ever lay down
in bed until Ramadhan came to an end. Further, it is stated that the angels
carrying the Throne are commanded in Ramadhan to leave aside everything else
and recite Aameen to the Duaas of those who fast. Numerous are the Ahaadith
stating that the fasting person's 'Du'aas' are answered. When Allah has so
promised. and his truthful 'Nabi' (Sallallaaho alaihe wasallam) has informed
us, there should be no doubt whatsoever about the truth of these reports. Yet
it is strange that, in spite of this, we still find such people who apparently
do not get what they pray for. They ask and do not receive; but this does not
mean that their prayers have been rejected. One should at
this point understand the significance of a 'Dua' being answered.
Rasulullah (Sallallaho alaihe wasallam) has informed us that, when a Muslim
prays for anything from Allah, on the condition that he does not pray for
breaking off from his near of kin or for anything sinful, he definitely
receives one out of the following three things: he gets the exact thing which
he asked. If that is not received, then Allah either removes from his path some
great calamity in exchange for what he desired, or the reward for that thing
for which he prayed is stored for him in the Hereafter. Another Hadith states
that on the day of Qiyaamah, Allah will call his servant, and say to him: O
my servant, I used to command you to ask of Me and promised to answer. Did you
beg of Me? The servant will answer: Yes I did. Then Allah shall reply: You
did not put forth any prayer which has not been accepted. You prayed that a
certain calamity should be removed, which I did for you in the wordly life. You
prayed that a certain sorrow should be cast off you, but
result of that prayer was not known to you. For that, I fixed for you such and
such a reward in the Hereafter. Rasulullah (Sallallaho alaihi wasallam) says
that the man shall again be reminded of each and every prayer and he shall be
shown how it had been fulfilled in the world or else what reward had been
stored for him in the Hereafter. On seeing that reward, he shall wish that not
a single prayer of his had heen answered on Earth, so that he could receive the
full reward only in the Hereafter.
Yes, prayer is indeed very important, and to neglect it at any time is a
matter of great loss. Even when the outward signs seem to indicate that our
prayer is not answered, hope should not be lost. Even from the lengthy Hadith
at the end of this booklet, it is clear that Allah in answering prayers
considers first of all our own good and welfare. Should Allah find that
granting us what we beseech from Him is in our welfare and interest, He grants
it, otherwise not. Actually it is Allah's favour on us that we do not always
get what we ask for because very often, due to our lack of understanding, we
beg for things that are not beneficial at a particular time.
Here I must draw your attention to the fact that men as well as women suffer
from a bad habit of cursing their children in their anger and affliction.
Beware of this. As preordained by Allah, there are certain occasions when
whatever prayer be made is immediately answered. So sometimes, due to our own
stupidity, the child is cursed and when the effect of that same curse comes
upon the child and lands him into a calamity, the parents go about crying and
wailing. Rasulullah (Sallallaho alaihe wasallam) commanded us not to curse
ourselves, our children, possessions, or servants. It is just possible that the
curse is uttered at a time when all requests are granted, especially in
Ramadhan, which is replete with such special Mustajaab (accepted) moments.
Hence, in this month, great care should be taken.
Ibn Masood(Radhi Allaho anho) reports that on every night of Ramadhan, a
crier from the heavens calls out: O you seeker of good, come near; O You
seeker of evil, turn away (from evil) and open your eyes. Thereafter that
angel calls out: Is there any seeker of forgiveness, that he may be forgiven?
Is there any one with a prayer, that his praver may be heard? Is there anyone
wanting anything, so that his wish may be

Boycott Israel [IslamCity] 9th Day of TARAVEEH - Glimpses of Quran

2007-09-23 Thread Muhammad Yaseen
*Assalaamu Alaikum Warehmatullahe Wabarakaatuhu*
**
 *9th Day of TARAVEEH *

In the first section mention is made about those village Arab Bedouins who
were resorting to kufr and hypocrisy and considered spending in good causes
as a penalty unto them and about some of them who believed in ALLAH and in
the hereafter and they considered spending the wealth as a source of
nearness to ALLAH and a means to get the blessings and Duaa of the Prophet
(pbuh). In the second section mention is made about those Muhajireen who
have taken a lead in sacrificing everything and migrated to Madinah and also
about the Ansars (helpers) who came forward with help and took a lead in
everything for Islam. The mention about the hypocrites of Madinah
al-Munawwarah, the rules of Zakaat and its benefits. Mention is made in the
verse about the mosque built by the hypocrites and the Prophet (pbuh) was
asked not to pray in that mosque, merit of the Masjid al-Quba and the
command to pray there, the belief and steadfastness is explained.

In the third section is said the life and wealth everything belongs to
ALLAH, but ALLAH has purchased the lives and wealth of the believers in
return for the Paradise and the believers are men of virtuous characters. It
is forbidden to pray for the forgiveness of the Mushrikeen even though they
are relatives. ALLAH never makes anyone go wrong. ALLAH has showered HIS
Blessings upon the Prophet (pbuh) and those emigrants and the Ansars who
have helped in times of difficulties and has also accepted the repentance of
those who could not participate in the battle of Tabuk.

In the fourth section the believers are called upon to refrain from
disobedience to ALLAH and remain in the company of the righteous and to
support the Prophet of ALLAH (pbuh). For them is a reward for every
discomfort and difficulty and for every right step they take. It is enjoined
that one group of people from every community and tribe set out in the way
of ALLAH for jihad and acquiring knowledge (not all of them) and when they
return they should undertake reformation and providing guidance to the
community.

In the fifth section it is emphasized that the kufr must be disliked and
renounced openly. When the believers listen to the Quraan their belief is
increased and strengthened and when the disbelievers listen to it the evil
of kufr enhances, they face the problems but they don't repent. O Prophet!
If the whole world turns away from you, you have nothing to loose and ALLAH
is sufficient for you.
Surah Younus begins

In the first section it is said that it is not a wonder that ALLAH has sent
a man as Messenger to reform and guide HIS servants. Here ALLAH mentions
about the various things spread over the universe and the benefits therein
for the mankind.

In the second section it is pointed out that man is always at haste and his
nature also is a strange one. ALLAH says that when he is inflicted with some
difficulty, he calls US, and when WE have delivered him from the difficulty,
he behaves in such a way that nothing has come to him and he had never
called US. The destruction of the earlier communities for their arrogance
and new generations taking their place is a phenomenon intended to find out
how you behave! The meaningless demands of the disbelievers that this Quraan
is changed and another Quraan brought in its place reflects their attitude
and the Prophet was told: Oh Prophet! tell them that I have no right to
change it on my own and I only follow what was revealed to me. The
Prophet's job is to convey the word of ALLAH to HIS servants as it was
revealed.

In the third section it is said that even the idolaters call ALLAH when the
wrath of ALLAH befalls them and when it is removed they again start
rejecting HIM. Don't take pride in worldly wealth, ALLAH calls you to the
abode of peace, the Paradise! Follow the righteous path and you will be
successful and the disobedient will only fail.

In the fourth section ALLAH instructs the Prophet to ask them as to who
sustains them from the heaven and the earth? Who is responsible for the
creations? Who holds the key to guidance towards the true path? But they
follow only their assumptions. There is only one book which refutes all
these assumptions and tells you the truth, and that is the Holy Quraan. If
you have doubt in this Quraan, then bring one surah like this from your
side.

In the fifth section it is said that the Prophet has fulfilled his mission
and even after that, if any one does not believe in the Quraan, then he his
himself responsible for himself. listening to the word of ALLAH and the
sayings of the Prophet will be beneficial only when one listens to these
with sincerity and commitment. A glimpse of the terrific condition of the
day of resurrection is given and and it is made known that for every thing
there is an appointed time and that good and bad, profit and loss, is as per
the will of ALLAH.

In the sixth section it is mentioned that on the day of judgment the
