Artem Ervits edited comment on AMBARI-23674 at 4/24/18 9:51 PM:

I am not sure editing the bundle will result in the right action but I don't
see a bundle specific editBundle js function.
[https://github.com/apache/ambari/blob/79cca1c7184f1661236971dac70d85a83fab6c11/contrib/views/wfmanager/src/main/resources/ui/app/components/bundle-config.js#L287]
I could use a hint what I should be doing. If I understand correctly,
editCoordinator will treat a coordinator or bundle depending on the type?

I compiled the view and deployed as per
[https://github.com/apache/ambari/blob/trunk/ambari-views/examples/helloworld-view/docs/index.md]

I don't see my changes reflected in the newly deployed view. My patch touches a
file in the contrib directory whereas the directions talk about ambari-views
module.

[jira] [Created] (AMBARI-23676) In Select Target Host page as part of Move Master wizard, the host holding the component is not present in list of options

2018-04-24 Thread Andrii Tkach (JIRA)
Andrii Tkach created AMBARI-23676:
-

Summary: In Select Target Host page as part of Move Master wizard,
the host holding the component is not present in list of options
 Key: AMBARI-23676
 URL: https://issues.apache.org/jira/browse/AMBARI-23676
 Project: Ambari
  Issue Type: Bug
  Components: ambari-web
Affects Versions: 2.7.0
Reporter: Andrii Tkach
Assignee: Andrii Tkach
 Fix For: 2.7.0

In Select Target Hosts page, the current host for the component is not shown in
the list of available options for the component. This leads to a blank being
shown in the combo box.

The current host was part of the options in earlier ambari versions.

 Project: Ambari
  Issue Type: Bug
  Components: ambari-server

This is a very trivial code refactoring Jira the code was like that for 2 years
but I think it needs a fix for the proper check clause.

[jira] [Created] (AMBARI-23674) Ability to edit coordinators and bundles from dashboard view

2018-04-24 Thread Clay B. (JIRA)
Clay B. created AMBARI-23674:

Summary: Ability to edit coordinators and bundles from dashboard
view
 Key: AMBARI-23674
 URL: https://issues.apache.org/jira/browse/AMBARI-23674
 Project: Ambari
  Issue Type: Improvement
  Components: ambari-views
Affects Versions: 2.6.1
Reporter: Clay B.

Today, when I go to the Workflow Manager, Dashboard view, and select a workflow
I then get an "Edit Workflow" link on the right side to open the XML in the GUI
viewer (and edit).

This however is not offered for Coordinators or Bundles and would be awesome to
visualize to properties, time settings and the like.
