You claim, that this affects version 3.1. This is not true. It affects also
version 3.0 and it is bug imo:
 cordova -v
 3.0.3
 cordova plugins add
 https://git-wip-us.apache.org/repos/asf/cordova-plugin-device.git
 cordova plugins
[ 'org.apache.cordova.device' ]

The same command with the same version gives another result when invoked in
another time. This is bug imo. Is there any way for me to get the same results?
If yes, please tell me. If not it is bug IMO.

I have an infinite scrolling list in which the user scrolls to the bottom and
new items load from the database. I am properly removing any object and image
from the DOM however that is not in view. I unload images by setting their src
to an empty string. I have monitored with Instruments on the Mac and I can see
the memory constantly being collected and never peaking about 25 MB. My
problem is random, when rendering a new page from infinite scrolling, if it is
heavy with images, it crashes. Here is log from the thread that crashed:

Attachment: Classes.zip

I've got the 3.2 setup and the plug-in running. The commands for the
plug-in seem to work, but I still get the same old results:

Keyboard.hideFormAccessoryBar(true) - gives me a black bar instead of no bar
Keyboard.shrinkView(false) - still shrinks the view

One nice thing is the Keyboard.isVisible works.

I'm attaching my copy of the classes from the project, maybe there's a
check-in/out that isn't coming through?

Also note, I'm testing on OSX, iPhone 4-64bit simulator. I've tested all
the other ones as well actual devices with the same result.

 I use phonegap 2.6 with the two new preferences HideKeyboardFormAccessoryBar
 KeyboardShrinksView set to true. Instead of the AccessoryBar a white bar
 appears ([screenshot|http://i.stack.imgur.com/3fgV8.png]).
 This is just happening when i set *both* of the preferences to true. When i
 just set the AccessoryBar preference to true the bar disappears as planned.

Just found this: http://osdir.com/ml/phonegap/2013-09/msg01077.html

Tested it, and adding this code fixed the issue:
- (void)viewDidLayoutSubviews{

if ([self respondsToSelector:@selector(topLayoutGuide)]) // iOS 7 or above

{

CGFloat top = self.topLayoutGuide.length;

if(self.webView.frame.origin.y == 0){ // We only want to do this once,
or if the view has somehow been restored by other code.

self.webView.frame = CGRectMake(self.webView.frame.origin.x,
self.webView.frame.origin.y + top, self.webView.frame.size.width,
self.webView.frame.size.height - top);

}

}

sorry for the confusion, but the yeoman generator wouldn't be bundled, i'd be
making changes and additions to plugman so then the tools( yeoman, etc.. )
would use those under the hood.

what i was saying about the yeoman generator was that it would have a plugman
dependency, but it would be my fork until my changes can make it to the
upstream repo.

i'll post to the ML once i have something more

 Support simple creation of new plugins, using an initial plugin template

 Key: CB-4886
 URL: https://issues.apache.org/jira/browse/CB-4886
 Project: Apache Cordova
  Issue Type: New Feature
  Components: CLI, Plugman
Reporter: Michal Mocny
Assignee: Lucas Holmquist
Priority: Minor

 It would be great if:
   plugman create ...
   // and/or
   cordova plugin create ...
 ..would create a default plugin shell using an initial plugin template.
 In some previous mailing list discussions, we threw out the possibility of
 shipping plugin templates with platforms, but that may not be right.

Hi Shazron,

Looks like this one didn't make it for 3.1.0 - are there plans to look into it
for 3.2.0?

Mike

 Multiple CDVViewControllers - deviceready not fired and cordova.exec events
 queued up till backgrounding

 Key: CB-3534
 URL: https://issues.apache.org/jira/browse/CB-3534
 Project: Apache Cordova
  Issue Type: Bug
  Components: App Hello World, CordovaJS, iOS
Affects Versions: 2.3.0, 2.7.0
 Environment: Reproducible on iPhone/iPad 6.1 Simulator and Device.
Reporter: Mike Kwan
Assignee: Shazron Abdullah
Priority: Critical
 Fix For: 3.1.0

 Attachments: CordovaBug.zip, Screen Shot 2013-05-29 at 13.55.42.png,
 Screen Shot 2013-05-29 at 14.31.44.png

 Minimal example reproducing the problem is attached and set up as follows:
  # Custom container view controller split into two halves each containing a
 _CDVViewController_
  # Top half loads and after a delay (3000ms) fires a _NSNotification_
  # In response to the _NSNotification_ the top half loads a green page and
 the bottom half loads a red page
 Both red pages and green pages have an event listener for *deviceready*:
 {code}
 function onDeviceReady() {
 alert('deviceready from X'); // colour here
 cordova.exec(null, null, 'Echo', 'echo', ['hello']);
 };
 {code}
 {panel:title=Observed
 Behaviour|borderStyle=dashed|borderColor=#ccc|titleBGColor=#F7D6C1|bgColor=#CE}
  - _deviceready_ is fired only for the red page (bottom)
  - The _cordova.exec_ succeeds for the red page (bottom)
  - _deviceready_ is not fired for the green page (top)
 {panel}
 {panel:title=Expected
 Behaviour|borderStyle=dashed|borderColor=#ccc|titleBGColor=#F7D6C1|bgColor=#CE}
 _deviceready_ should be fired for both the green and red page simultaneously
 and the _cordova.exec_ events should go through immediately.
 {panel}
 {panel:title=Extra
 Details|borderStyle=dashed|borderColor=#ccc|titleBGColor=#F7D6C1|bgColor=#CE}
 This bug reproduces the first time the app is launched (reset the simulator
 to reproduce). On subsequent launches the app behaves as expected.
 The _deviceready_ can be triggered by certain events for the top page:
  - Pulling down the notification bar
  - Backgrounding
 If _deviceready_ is triggered by pulling down the notification bar, the
 _cordova.exec_ is still not fired for the green page. The _cordova.exec_
 message is queued up and finally does go through when the app is backgrounded.
 {panel}
 This bug is remarkably similar to the following:
 https://issues.apache.org/jira/browse/CB-2094
 Perhaps it is an edge case which was overlooked? This bug reproduces on 2.3.0
 and 2.7.0 - I have not tried other versions yet.

Description:
Right now, the status bar overlaps the IAB at the top.
Hide the status bar when on iOS 7, unhide (if it was hidden by the user in the
first place for the app only) when it is closed.

Workaround for now - I suppose you could inject some css to have a body
margin-top of 20px (or a different value if it is landscape - yeah it could get
messy)

Hiding/unhiding the status bar is preferable to moving the view down to be
consistent with the UIWebView taking up the whole window.

 Workaround for now - I suppose you could inject some css to have a body
 margin-top of 20px (or a different value if it is landscape - yeah it could
 get messy)
 Hiding/unhiding the status bar is preferable to moving the view down to be
 consistent with the UIWebView taking up the whole window.

Cordova 3.1.0 CLI doesn't run the emulator properly for iOS. It might be broken

In the following test, the project is created and the ios platform is added.

emulator is never opened.

{code:none}
$ cordova create test-cli com.silverorange.test-cli TestCLI

4. Scroll the main WebView to the top, note the accessory bar has a white bar

 This is just happening when i set *both* of the preferences to true. When i

PR for a fix is here https://github.com/apache/cordova-ios/pull/76

Not sure if you wanna fix it in the iOS module but this commit here changed the
emulate command to trigger a run --emulate
https://github.com/apache/cordova-cli/commit/ddfa08371e1ecc84d667a682a14dd9ac7ce72ee6#diff-4ef07c3cbbe7d5878f45914617b28139

Doesn't look like this was ever added for iOS to detect.

 Cordova 3.1.0 CLI doesn't run the emulator properly for iOS. It might be
 broken for other platforms as well. Cordova CLI 3.1.0 was installed using
 {{npm -g}}
 In the following test, the project is created and the ios platform is added.
 The {{cordova emulate ios}} looks like it compiles in the background but the
 emulator is never opened.

 $ cordova create test-cli com.silverorange.test-cli TestCLI

Hmm yeah this was a recent change of mine in run -- if there is a device
build (you wouldn't have one if you didn't have the certs, etc), run it using
ios-deploy no matter what. With your change, --emulate would override this.

Correct, is this not the expected behavior? running emulate should always open
the simulator where as a run (without --emulate) should attempt to do a device
install, falling back on the emulator.

  Issue Type: Bug
  Components: Plugin InAppBrowser
Affects Versions: 3.0.0, 2.9.0, 2.8.0, 2.7.0
 Environment: iOS
Reporter: Hyong Kim

I personally experienced the issue with 2.8.15, but it appears others are
seeing the same problem even on version 3. Just now, I quickly took a look at
the latest version 3 source code, and it is likely that the issue is still
around. That is, I had identified the cause of the crash and we fixed it in our
app.

The issue is presented when a user rapidly opens and closes InAppBrowser while
using Cordova iOS application because (referring to the latest
CDVInAppBrowser.m as of 10/3/2013 with commit hash of
a001cffc30cf94cb406128f7b68d143e2cd62114) self.inAppBrowserViewController
(line: 332) is nil if 'browserExit' (line: 353) is called before
'webViewDidFinishLoad' (line: 328) is invoked.

We put our own patch around line 332 as below, and didn't experience the crash
any more with 2.8.15

 CDVInAppBrowser.m as of 10/3/2013 with commit hash of
 a001cffc30cf94cb406128f7b68d143e2cd62114) self.inAppBrowserViewController
 (line: 332) is nil if 'browserExit' (line: 353) is called before
 'webViewDidFinishLoad' (line: 328) is invoked.
 We put our own patch around line 332 as below, and didn't experience the
 crash any more with 2.8.15
 {code:title=CDVInAppBrowser.m excerpt|borderStyle=solid}
 if (self.inAppBrowserViewController != nil) {
 url = [self.inAppBrowserViewController.currentURL absoluteString];
 } else {
 url = @;
 }
 {code}

Description:
I personally experienced the issue with 2.8.15, but it appears others are
seeing the same problem even on version 3. Just now, I quickly took a look at
the latest version 3 source code, and it is likely that the issue is still
around. That is, I had identified the cause of the crash and we fixed it in our
app.

The issue is presented when a user rapidly opens and closes InAppBrowser while
using Cordova iOS application because (referring to the latest
CDVInAppBrowser.m as of 10/3/2013 with commit hash of

(line: 332) is nil if 'browserExit' (line: 353) is called before
'webViewDidFinishLoad' (line: 328) is invoked.

We put our own patch around line 332 as below, and didn't experience the crash
