I have included a xls file which has the bug inside it. I have opened this file in windows XP (x86) and Windows 7 (x64) and a mac OSX 10.8 system. When I enter a number in a cell, for example number 7,6 in the included file in cell C4 the value of the number automatically doubles in the sum displayed. You can put any number you want in that cell, it will automatically double in value in the displayed sum. Same happens with the cells that has numbers on sheet 1. The only way to fix this, is by switching to sheet 3 , click on the mouse button on a random empty cell in this third sheet and than switch back to the sheet with the buggy cells (sheet 1 and sheet 2). Then it suddenly displays the right number in the sum. Microsoft Office 2010 opens this file in about 15 seconds. Calc tries to open the file, gets to about 30% and then progresses no further. Calc is still responding but there are no signs of activity (no disk activity). XLXS file load performance is always diabolically slow in Calc but I have not left it running for several days to see if this file eventually loads! The context menu in the status bar switches to another page style. The controls in the sidebar change properties in that style. To check this: - New writer document - right click Default in status bar and select Landscape - Sidebar - Properties - Page - Orientation - select Portrait - open the stylist with F11, edit the page style named Landscape, in tab Page the orientation is now Portrait, this was the change made by the sidebar. Hello, I have used OpenOffice for a long time now, and have been very impressed with the software. I have recently discovered, though, that when importing certain tsv files into OpenOffice, AOO opens some but not all rows of a file. The attached file is a case in point--if I open the file in notepad++, I can see all 13 rows. If I open the file with AOO, I only see 8 rows if I click (separated by tabs, and 13 if I click separated by commas, but the latter option of course does not split the fields appropriately.
