When a paragraphs is bulleted with an image bullet, one cannot apply a named style having for example indents, especially, but not only, right indent. See attached example. Steps to reproduce: - create a paragraph style with indenting, for example 5cm to the left, 5cm to the right. I called this style Paragraph with reduced width. - type a few paragraphs of text. - add a bullet to some of the paragraph (menu Format / Bullets and numbering), and use one of those bullets from the Image tab. - try to apply the Paragraph with reduced width style: - on unbulleted paragraphs it works as expected, the paragraph will resize according to the indents - on bulleted paragraphs nothings happens, the indenting is not applied. - when moving the paragraph's indent anchors (on the tabs bar) the indents are now applied to this paragraph. If I move for example the right indent anchor, it applies and the left indent (defined by the named style) also suddenly applies. If I double click the named style (from the styles popup window) it goes back to the unindented state, even if the styles defines indentation. -- You are receiving this mail because: You are on the CC list for the bug. Maybe because we mix too many different things. Thus: - What need for change do you see in the ODF case? - What need for change do you see in the SVG import case? From my POV both look pretty good, except the not corectable mess with relative startpoints of sub-polygons in the ODF case where I think we have a good compromize. Have you tried exporting ODF in a current version, it will produce a svg:d which will not have that old error, but can be loaded in all OOO/AOO-versions; it should also be usable in svg's directly since it's a valid svg:d without that old relative offset error. On import the situation is as you propose: The default is to correctly read all existing ODFs, thus it is unavoidable to keep the error in ODF svg:d import. I see no way to get rid of this, the better solution would be if all ODF producers would adapt to writing svg:d without that error in the future, as I have already done. -- You are receiving this mail because: You are on the CC list for the bug. [Bug 123643] New: [ia2] IAccessible2 is not enabled automatically even with an AT running
https://issues.apache.org/ooo/show_bug.cgi?id=123643 Bug ID: 123643 Issue Type: DEFECT Summary: [ia2] IAccessible2 is not enabled automatically even with an AT running Product: General Version: 4.1.0-dev Hardware: PC OS: Windows, all Status: UNCONFIRMED Severity: normal Priority: P3 Component: accessibility Assignee: issues@openoffice.apache.org Reporter: ja...@nvaccess.org CC: issues@openoffice.apache.org This applies only to the ia2 branch. Tested with the 1538508 build. IAccessible2 support should be enabled automatically (permanently or just for the session) if an assistive technology application is detected. Ideally, this would be done dynamically based on WM_GETOBJECT, but SPI_SETSCREENREADER is also a possibility. I thought this worked previously and this page seems to suggest it does using the SPI_SETSCREENREADER flag: https://cwiki.apache.org/confluence/display/OOOUSERS/Tips+for+branch+ia2 However, if I delete my configuration with the 1538508 build and then run OpenOffice while NVDA is running, I get no IAccessible2. NVDA does use SPI_SETSCREENREADER. I know this can be forced with a registry patch, but this really is a hack and isn't reasonable for most users. Even an installer option isn't ideal, since a screen reader user with a portable screen reader might wish to use OpenOffice on a system on which they didn't install it themselves; e.g. public access situation. -- You are receiving this mail because: You are on the CC list for the bug. https://issues.apache.org/ooo/show_bug.cgi?id=123640 --- Comment #4 from V Stuart Foote vstuart.fo...@utsa.edu --- Jamie, Steve (In reply to James Teh from comment #3) If you suspect this might be the case, I'd recommend you install the old build, regsvr32 /u UAccCOM.dll, then reinstall the new build. Correction: uninstall the new build, install the old build, regsvr32 /u UaccCOM.dll, uninstall the old build, install the new build. I can not get this to resolve. Getting no IAccessible2 response on two different Windows 7 sp1 64bit systems. When AOO ia2 r1538508 is open, I am only getting MSAA details for the Window frame nothing from the AOO components. Just to be sure, with r1538508 still installed, I first searched the registry Only UAccCOM.dll was: [HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\Microsoft\Windows\CurrentVersion\Installer\UserData\S-1-5-18\Components\0ABC43CE8D1C1E270D11495A5463AF98] 51B671DF629B09A4991526437BFBBBE1=C:\\Program Files (x86)\\OpenOffice 4\\program\\UAccCOM.dll None the less, uninstalled (using Revo). Reinstalled the r1536988 build, and had a slew of UAccCOM.dll registry entries. But Accprobe showed IAccessibile2 events firing, and NVDA fully rendered all AOO componnets. Then ran regsvr32 /u against the UAccCOM.DLL. Then full uninstall (using Revo with Advanced scan). Reinstalled r1538508 build. Check the registry again and only the installer component entry as above. Before first use, clear per-user configuration from %APPDATA% for my account and Administrator account. So starting as clean as I can--NVDA 2013.2 active. Run first time as Administrator. Tools -- Options -- Accessibility and check Support Assistive Technology tools. OK and File -- Exit. Launch again verify check box had checked. CLose. Launch Accprobe.exe. Launch AOO as Administrator, Accprobe only shows MSAA detail for the Windows frame. NVDA announces only frame buttons--internal components all are unknown. Same results if run with user account with Support Assistive Technology tools checked. You may need to unregister and then register if it complains that it's already registered. -- You are receiving this mail because: You are on the CC list for the bug. [Bug 123641] Conditional Formatting selects only empty cells when changing background color
https://issues.apache.org/ooo/show_bug.cgi?id=123641 rbrun...@iupui.edu changed: What|Removed |Added CC||rbrun...@iupui.edu --- Comment #2 from rbrun...@iupui.edu --- Rob Brunner, 11/5/2013: OpenOffice Version 4.0.1 OS: Windows 8 I can confirm that this is an issue for his or her test file. The conditional formatting rules also seem to fail if only non-empty cells are selected. Here is a step-by-step way to recreate the issue: 1. Select a range of cells 2. Go to Format Conditional Formatting... 3. Add a background change When applied, the background will fail to update if non-empty cells are in the selected cell range. -- You are receiving this mail because: You are on the CC list for the bug. [Bug 123640] refactored UAccCOM for rev 1538508 ia2 branch completely non-functional [ia2]
https://issues.apache.org/ooo/show_bug.cgi?id=123640 --- Comment #6 from Steve Yin steve.yin@gmail.com --- (In reply to V Stuart Foote from comment #4) Jamie, Steve (In reply to James Teh from comment #3) If you suspect this might be the case, I'd recommend you install the old build, regsvr32 /u UAccCOM.dll, then reinstall the new build. Just to be sure, with r1538508 still installed, I first searched the registry Only UAccCOM.dll was: [HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\Microsoft\Windows\CurrentVersion\Installer\UserD ata\S-1-5-18\Components\0ABC43CE8D1C1E270D11495A5463AF98] 51B671DF629B09A4991526437BFBBBE1=C:\\Program Files (x86)\\OpenOffice 4\\program\\UAccCOM.dll None the less, uninstalled (using Revo). Something is just not right. Hi Stuart, I doubt that the oleacc.dll is not registered correctly on your systems. This issue shold be caused by the old UAccCOM.dll. Solution: enter the system folder such as C:\windows\system32\ from console and type regsvr32 oleacc.dll. -- You are receiving this mail because: You are on the CC list for the bug.
