· Experience utilizing Microsoft Visual Studio .NET 2012.

· Experience utilizing Microsoft Team Foundation Server, TFS.

· Experience developing custom web parts and workflows within an
onsite 2013 SharePoint Server is a plus.

· Experience developing ASP.NET http://asp.net/ is not required
but is considered a plus.

· Translate business requirements from a variety of users into
technical design documents for report and schema specifications using
Visio, Project, or other similar tools, and provide feedback on their
requirements vs. their stated goals.

· Experience writing advanced T-SQL, creating complex stored
procedures, triggers, and functions, and performance tuning of SQL queries.

· Mentor less knowledgeable developers in the department, make
suggestions to department management as to opportunities for professional
development and provide input for performance reviews.

· Ability to operate in a cooperative development team, follows
established coding  testing practices, and recommends new practices to the
team where none is available or a better option exists.

· Provide clear and constructive communication and presentations
when working with project managers and department heads, which have varying
degrees of technical comprehension, to arrive at an understanding of the
direction needed  the best ways of achieving project goals.

· Adeptness to own projects through creation and continually
maintain responsibility.

   - Possess broad experience of how various applications; it includes but
   not limited to legacy application such as VB, Web applications such as
   classic ASP and CodeFusion  and  different versions of dot Net framework
   applications.  Some are in-house built and others are vendors).
   - Understand the pro and con of various replication methodologies (both
   Microsoft native and third party).  Ability to migrate, build and configure
   any replication jobs setting.  Very comfortable in transferring data
   between SQL Servers and other data sources such as IBM AS400 iSeries, Excel
   or Flat files.
   - Advanced skill in creating medium to complex SSIS packages, upgrading
   and converting packages from SQL 2005 to SQL 2008/2012/2014; Solid
   experience in utilizing package configuration;  Familiar with deployment
   process and scheduling packages via SQL job agent.
   - Wide knowledge of various drivers (OLE DB, ODBC, JDBC, etc) and how
   each of them functions well with SQL Server 2008/2012/2014.
   - Proficient in T-SQL to optimize or convert stored procedures in newer
   SQL edition and provide coding standard and guideline.
   - Familiar with Windows 2008/20012 environment as well as VMware to set
   up and install SQL server; Understand certain VM technology and comfortable
   working with network/storage engineer.
   - Good knowledge of Active Directory and know how to configure SQL
   Server services running under AD services accounts;
   - Knowing different Test/QA/UAT approaches to validate the data and
   functionality of applications with SQL Server 2008/2012/2014.
   - Being able to observe, collect and digest the connectivity and
   behaviors of applications through native (i.e. SQL profiler) or 3rd party
   tools.  Being able to interact with stakeholders including IT and other
   departments is a big plus.
   - Understand the concept of SQL Server security best practices;  Ability
   to design and implement to meet the required standard without compromising
   the security.



*Requirements:*

   - Must have been a tech-lead role multiple times at Enterprise level of
   migration of SQL 2005 to SQL 2008/2012/2014 servers as well as fresh
   installation of SQL 2008/2012/2014 and configure SQL server with the best
   practice of performance.
   - Must have experience of working within a major project which consists
   of 10 or more technical members (DBA, developers, QA, Network Admin,
   Windows engineer etc)
   - Expertise in native Transactional, log-shipping and mirroring
   replication as well as third party heterogeneous relational database
   replication.
   - Familiar in using Visual Studio 2008/2012 Developer/Database edition
   and Source Control preferably Microsoft Team Foundation Server.
   - In-depth knowledge of SQL Server best practice of tuning such as
   memory allocation and  indexing strategy; Solid T-SQL skill and strong
   understanding of SQL 2005/2008/2012 system infrastructure and DMV.
   - Understand basic dot Net programming (C++) and framework; Collaborate
   and communicate very well with developers.
   - Under time and resources constraint, being able to meet milestones and
   deliver with any combination of wizard, native tool, and scripting language
   (i.e. DOS batch, VB, Java  PowerShell).
   - Exposure in third-party backup and performance diagnosis and monitor
   tools.
   - 5+ years experience as a production DBA and 3+ years as a development
   DBA
   - Microsoft certification is a bonus.

   Candidate is subject to oral technical quiz based on the
project scope
