transparent proxynya udah jalan user udah bisa browsing. nah, tinggal yahoo messenger nya ga bisa jalan kalo pk transparent proxy. udah buat rule untuk ngarahin port(20,23,5000-5050) yg di gunain ama YM, ke squidnya. kadang2 YM pake port 25 untuk koneksi, kira2 kalo port 25 ini di arahin ke squid bisa ganggu aplikasi smtp ga yach? kalo mo transparant proxy rule iptablesnya harus spt ini: iptables -t nat -A PREROUTING -i $interface_dalam -p tcp --dport 80 -j REDIRECT --to-port $port_proxy dan di squid.conf harus di set atau ditambahkan line berikut ini : httpd_accel_host virtual httpd_accel_port 80 httpd_accel_with_proxy on httpd_accel_uses_host_header on semoga ini bisa membantu... Dear all, Aku punya masalah dgn file sharing di LAN. Kompiku tdk bisa lihat file sharing di salah satu client. Error message:there are currently no logon servers available to service the logon request. Dari client tsb bisa lihat file sharing di kompiku. Aku ping dari dan ke computer tersebut tdk ada masalah. Aku coba keluar dari domain, lalu masuk lagi ke domain, ternyata bisa lagi, tetapi esok harinya masalah tersebut timbul kembali. Apakah root cause dari masalah tersebut? How do I add new drives to my existing RAID 5 Array using the PowerEdge RAID Controller (PERC) and the Dell Server Assistant (DSA) CD? Solution NOTE: Before making any change to your disk drives, make a backup of any essential data. You can add one or more drives to a RAID 5 array without affecting the data on the existing drive(s) using the following steps: 1. Confirm that the new drive is of equal or greater size than the drives that already exist in your array. 2. Boot to the Dell Server Assistant CD and run the Dell Raid Array Configuration Utility in the Utilities section. 3. From the Main menu, select Reconstruct. 4. Select the array to be rebuilt. 5. From the Reconstruct Drive menu, select the Logical Drive to which you would like to add the new drive. The utility should now display your new drives as Ready. 6. Use the arrow keys to move to the new drives and the Space Bar to mark the drives you want added. 7. Verify that RAID 5 is selected and then choose Reconstruct. A progress bar should appear showing the new drives being added to the array. NOTE: The process will take over an hour and a message will inform you that the array has been resized. 8. Once the reconstruction has completed, reboot the system. Dulu saya pernah juga ngalamin, malah sampe beberapa kali di-install ulang masih tetap nggak bisa login, padahal yakin banget udah bener passwordnya. Terakhir waktu settingan password administrator saya kosongin baru bisa login, trus saya change password deh ;) Kalau mau coba, direset dulu aja password adminnya pake program (.?? Lupa ;p) under dos, kalo nggak salah pernah dibahas deh belum lama ini, coba oprek2 archievenya it-center. You receive a message that S.M.A.R.T. failure detected or the message about impending hard drive failure on one of your drives. So, what's the next step? Try to avoid cycling the power on your PC. This is because the on-off power cycle puts the greatest amount of stress on disk drives, and it is possible your drive may not start up again after spinning down. Please note that not all S.M.A.R.T. events are critical. Some of them are just for informational purposes. One example would be Drive Temperature. Another might be Power-On Hours (the length of time the drive has been used since it was new, in hours). First, make a backup copy of your important data from the failing drive. After that you can try to find out what exactly happened with the drive -- maybe it's not necessary yet to replace it. Sometimes you only have a few hours. Other times the drive will keep working properly for weeks or months. If your drive is sophisticated enough to report detailed diagnostic information then Active SMART will display it. Run Active SMART and it will show you any indications of an upcoming S.M.A.R.T. failure. IP private adalah IP yang digunakan untuk jaringan yang tidak terhubung ke internet misalnya untuk LAN dan biasanya yang digunakan adalah kelas C, sedangkan IP publik adalah IP yang digunakan oleh jaringan yang terhubung ke internet misalnya saat komputer kita terhubung ke internet akan mendapat IP publik dari ISP yang berupa IP dinamis dan jika diganti dengan IP private maka kita tidak bisa terhubung ke internet. Menurut saya IP private dapat diroute ke internet melalui proxy atau router kalau tidak bagaimana komputer dalam jaringan yang menggunakan proxy dapat terhubung ke internet. Apalagi jika menggunakan transparent proxy dapat dilihat hops routing-nya dengan menggunakan perintah tracert dari command prompt (untuk pengguna windows). Hello ITCENTER, Saya punya applikasi yang di buat pakai clipper (nggak tahu versinya) dan di tinggal oleh programmernya. Karena ada rumusnya yang mau diubah, akhirnya saya coba unclip pakai V5 dan berhasil Lalu saya coba clipper namafile ok. tapi waktu di Rtlink FI namafile keluar error warning wrt0011 Public symbol '__GETCLASS doubly defined __GETSETSU Clipper.lib Saya lihat clipper.lib tersebut sudah ada, kira-2 salahnya dimana ya ? Oh saya pakai clipp52, atau programnya pakai clipper diatas 52 kah ? Rekan, Komp saya (XP) kena spyware (?) BPK Keylogger. Yg saya rasakan komp jadi lambat. Pas dicek di msconfig ada BPK yg diload, setiap pagi saya scan dan remove pake xoftspy 4.10 Tp besoknya muncul lagi muncul lagi. Ada yg punya solusi untuk berantas abis keylogger ini? Nuhun. Ini masalahnya koneksi dari komputer kamu ke server nggak stabil. Kadang-kadang disconnect dari server. Jadi saat disconnect dari server nggak bisa mengakses file sharing di komputer lain karena komputer tujuan tersebut policy-nya menggunakan policy domain untuk validasi password. Sumber masalahnya bisa dari driver lan card, kondisi lan card, kabel dan hub Coba dicheck satu-satu penyebab koneksi yang nggak stabil itu. Aku setuju dengan line pada squid.conf yang bung Beny sebutkan. Mengenai command iptables yang bung Beny sebutkan aku sudah pernah coba dan sampai sekarang masih belum bisa padahal aku sudah redirect port 80 ke port 3128 sesuai dengan http port pada squid.conf. Entah salahnya dimana, padahal semua prosedur sudah aku jalankan dan squid sudah berjalan normal. Jadi aku cari alternatif lain dengan ip masquerade dan ip forwarding. Beri IP statis pada setiap komputer di jaringan atau komputer kamu diberi IP statis sesuai dengan jaringan yang sudah ada supaya setiap komputer bisa berkomunikasi. IP komputer kamu harus beda dengan IP komputer yang sudah ada misalnya IP setiap komputer yang sudah ada dalam jaringan 192.168.0.1 sampai dengan 192.168.0.10 maka kamu gunakan IP 192.168.0.11 dan subnet mask-nya disamakan. Mengenai workgroup sudah pasti bisa, message tersebut tidak mengindikasikan komputer bisa berkomunikasi di dalam jaringan. Diblock aja situs gator.com dari proxy server, pasti client habis menginstall program-program screen saver atau apalah dari internet aku nggak hapal tapi buat aku itu adalah program junk. Memang itu bisa memberatkan jaringan karena program tersebut mendownload update-nya dan segala macam, apalagi kalau semua PC client terinstall program gator ini. Kalau perlu diuninstall aja program gator ini dari semua PC client. Sudah pasti mengganggu. Ibarat pintu dimasukkin dua orang berbarengan. Salah satu harus mengalah agar yang lain bisa melewati pintu, disini kelihatannya YM yang harus mengalah. Ngomong-ngomong mail server dan proxy server-nya berada pada satu server atau terpisah? Kalau terpisah berarti tidak masalah. Atau nggak menggunakan mail server melainkan menggunakan ip forwarding ke mail server ISP? Coba juga check di ACL apakah port yang ditujukan untuk YM sudah dibuka. Terus di squid.conf sudah ditambahkan baris di bawah ini yang seperti bung Beny Ibrani sebutkan atau belum? httpd_accel_host virtual httpd_accel_port 80 httpd_accel_with_proxy on httpd_accel_uses_host_header on Maaf kalau aku malah banyak bertanya balik, aku cuma ingin memperjelas akar masalah. Google Boosts Gmail Storage to 2GB April 1, 2005 By Matt Hicks On the one-year anniversary of Gmail, Google is doubling the storage limit on e-mail accounts to 2GB and keeping the service as an invite-only beta. The increase, going live on Friday, is the first of a number of storage bumps that the company is planning in the coming weeks and months, said Georges Harik, product management director for Gmail. Google Inc. has decided to make an indefinite number of ongoing increases to Gmail's storage limits to meet user demand. Since introducing Gmail on April Fool's Day a year ago, Google has heard from users wanting to know what happens when, and if, they reach the 1GB cap, Harik said. There are people approaching 500 to 600MB, and even 900MB, and people are asking what the plan is for them, Harik said. We're trying to stay ahead of any issue [users] may have with Gmail and anticipate their needs. The storage boost follows Yahoo Inc.'s announcement last week that it will boost free Yahoo Mail accounts to 1GB of storage in late April, matching Gmail's previous cap. On paid accounts, Yahoo already provides 2GB of storage. When Google first unveiled Gmail, it spurred a storage race among the leading Web-based e-mail providers. Along with Yahoo, Microsoft Corp.'s MSN Hotmail service also has increased its storage limits by providing free accounts with 250MB and paid accounts with 2GB. Despite speculation that Google might use the April 1 anniversary to make Gmail broadly available, Harik said that the service will remain an invite-only beta. What about privacy? Earlier this month, Google began providing random Gmail invites to its home-page visitors. Google also has substantially increased the number of invites available to current Gmail users. He said exact dates and storage targets for the upcoming increases were not available but it would occur in short periods of time. In other Google news, the company Thursday announced a feature for the Mozilla Firefox browser that speeds the loading of the top Web page in Google search results. Google now instructs Firefox and other Mozilla browser to download the top search result in advance, Google software engineer Reza Behforooz wrote in the Google Blog. So if you click on it, you'll get to that page even more quickly, Behforooz wrote. Also, on Wednesday, Google released a stock-quote feature that lets users type in a ticker symbol in its search-query box to retrieve stock information. Google is receiving a direct feed of market information to provide the capability. The ticker-symbol lookup also works in Google SMS (Short Message Service), the company's mobile offering for retrieving targeted search results through mobile messaging.
