[ITCENTER] tanya koneksi pc infra red MA-660
Mo tanya neh, Saya ada problem dengan usb infra red ma-660 . Device ini tidak mau detek koneksi ke handset saya Me-45 . Padahal windowsnya (Win2000 sp 4) sudah detek ma-660. Tapi Ma-660 nya kok nggak mau konek ke handset. Driver utk ma-660 sudah saya install and nggak ada problem. Saya lihat ke device manager , nggak ada problem atau konflik device. Yang bikin saya heran, ma-660 ini kalo saya pasang di pc laen (win 2000 sp 4 juga) bisa bekerja dengan baik , bisa detek handset , bisa transmit receive data. Kira kira apa ya masalahnya ? Atau apa ada yang pernah ngalamin kejadian yang sama ? Dear ITer, Salam kenal buat semuanya. Mo minta bantuan advisenya neehh?? Di kantor saya, email servernya menggunakan mechine HP Proliant MLT 350 dgn email applikasi MS Exchange 2003 dan O/S-nya Windows Server 2000. Di machine ini ditetapkan sebagai domain controller. Selain itu saya punya machine yg lain yaitu HP Proliant MLT 350 juga dgn O/S Windows Server 2000, saya install data backup application yaitu Arcserve Release 11.1 Untuk tape drivernya saya pakai HP DAT 4 internal. Sebenarnya target yg di inginkan adalah sbb: bisa melakukan backup dan restore sesuai dgn data terakhir ( tgl yg diinginkan ) Selama ini proses backupnya berjalan dalam dua mode : 1. Daily mode, yg dibackup per mailbox dari user. 2. Weekly mode, yg dibackup seluruh database dari MS Exchange. Persoalan baru muncul pada waktu restore. Kerna untuk merestore data (contoh soal, data per hari Rabu ) dilakukan dalam 2 step : -Step pertama, restore weekly, agar databasenya mendekati hari Rabu -Step kedua, restore daily yaitu menggunakan tape hari Rabu. Untuk mendapatkan kondisi mailbox terkhir. Penah kami mencoba untuk merestore per data terakhir ( tape Rabu ), hasilnya adalah di mailbox tidak menghasilkan kondisi terakhir tetapi komposisi dari email di mailbox adalah email-email sebelum di restore ditambah email-email hasil restore. ( Jadi tidak meniban/replace ) Sebenarnya yg ingin diharapkan adalah restore cukup sekali saja, untuk mendapatkan kondisi data terakhir ( per hari Rabu ) Saya mohon advisenya dari ITer-Iter sekalian yg punya pengalam dgn Arcserve dalam membackup MS Exchange. Mungkin ada salah satu parameter ( utk replace ) yg kelewat, baik pada waktu backup atawa restore. Abang2 IT semua Semula server saya yg rusak proliant ML350, terus dikirimi bos saya dg ML350G4, secara specifikasi ternyata disana hanya tercantum mulai Novell netware 5.x keatas. Kalau melihat 2 partisi dari FDISK yg sudah tercopy (ghost) sepertinya sudah oke. Langkah pertama saya pada startup.ncf dan autoexec.ncf nya saya matikan loading2 yang tdk perlu. Selanjutnya sudah Masuk dari Console Load Install dan Driver options, configure disk and strorage device drivers cuma ada IDECD dan IDEATA, apa masih ada yang kurang..?? Masalahnya belum bisa Mounting dan load monitor belum bisa jalan sama sekali. Kantor saya di daerah Cikarang-Bekasi menggunakan jasa ADSL Astinet 512kbps full, tapi kenyataannya setiap hari kerja (kecuali hari libur) selalu yang terlihat hanya digunakan setengahnya saja. Lalu beberapa minggu lalu koneksi terputus (bayangkan bagaimana rasanya akses ke Google sampai 400 byte/second padahal kita langganan 512kbps) tanpa ada konfirmasi ke pelanggan dan ketika di-complain berkali-kali hanya mendapat jawaban akan disambungkan ke teknisi tanpa ada konfirmasi ulang. Kekurangan lainnya, kita tidak bisa mendapatkan data dari pihak Astinet mengenai kapan koneksi dianggap drop/down hingga kita bisa menghitung2 apakah diberikan keringanan/discount dari total pembayaran perbulannya. Misalnya, untuk koneksi 512kbps, jika koneksi yang diberikan dalam 24 jam dibawah 64kbps berarti dianggap koneksi drop, sehingga total pembayaran dipotong satu hari per total hari dalam perioda pembayaran bulan tersebut. Mudah-mudahan hal ini bisa menjadi masukan untuk kebaikan kita bersama. Saya menggunakan sistem operasi windows XP pada PC rakitan dan melakukan limitasi pengaksesan data sebagai berikut: -Dari Windows Explorer saya masuk ke Folder Options (menuFolder Options) -Lalu dari Tab View, saya check bagian Use Simple Sharing (recommended) -Kemudian untuk mensetting limitasi pengaksesan data, saya meng-klik kanan salah satu partisi (format NTFS) di Hard Disk, dan memilih bagian properties. -Pada Tab Security saya klik Everyone di jendela Group or user names, kemudian pada bagian Permission for Administrators saya set sehingga pada kolom allow yang di-check hanya bagian Read. Akibatnya saya yang menggunakan role Administrator tidak bisa mengakses isi partisi tersebut. Buat rekan-rekan yang tau cara menonaktifkan bagian ini, tolong bantu saya. Terimakasih sebelumnya. Pak Albert, Ternyata memang masalahnya pada Frame Type-nya, setelah saya ganti dari Auto Detect ke Ethernet 802.2, saya sudah bisa browse komputer lain di network (hanya win XP saja, sedangkan untuk win 9x-nya belum kelihatan di My Network Places). FYI, untuk yg win9x-nya saya masih menggunakan tcp/ip sekaligus dengan ipx/spx-nya (belum test hanya menggunakan ipx/spx, soalnya komputernya masih digunakan untuk tcp/ip-nya) btw, thx buat bantuannya, juga kepada Pak Rumy yg sudah menyempatkan waktunya untuk membantu menyelesaikan permasalahan saya. Sebenarnya target yg di inginkan adalah sbb: bisa melakukan backup dan restore sesuai dgn data terakhir ( tgl yg diinginkan ) Selama ini proses backupnya berjalan dalam dua mode : 1. Daily mode, yg dibackup per mailbox dari user. 2. Weekly mode, yg dibackup seluruh database dari MS Exchange. Persoalan baru muncul pada waktu restore. Kerna untuk merestore data (contoh soal, data per hari Rabu ) dilakukan dalam 2 step : -Step pertama, restore weekly, agar databasenya mendekati hari Rabu -Step kedua, restore daily yaitu menggunakan tape hari Rabu. Untuk mendapatkan kondisi mailbox terkhir. Penah kami mencoba untuk merestore per data terakhir ( tape Rabu ), hasilnya adalah di mailbox tidak menghasilkan kondisi terakhir tetapi komposisi dari email di mailbox adalah email-email sebelum di restore ditambah email-email hasil restore. ( Jadi tidak meniban/replace ) Sebenarnya yg ingin diharapkan adalah restore cukup sekali saja, untuk mendapatkan kondisi data terakhir ( per hari Rabu ) Saya mohon advisenya dari ITer-Iter sekalian yg punya pengalam dgn Arcserve dalam membackup MS Exchange. Mungkin ada salah satu parameter ( utk replace ) yg kelewat, baik pada waktu backup atawa restore. Mo minta bantuan advisenya neehh?? Di kantor saya, email servernya menggunakan mechine HP Proliant MLT 350 dgn email applikasi MS Exchange 2003 dan O/S-nya Windows Server 2000. Di machine ini ditetapkan sebagai domain controller. Selain itu saya punya machine yg lain yaitu HP Proliant MLT 350 juga dgn O/S Windows Server 2000, saya install data backup application yaitu Arcserve Release 11.1 Untuk tape drivernya saya pakai HP DAT 4 internal. Sebenarnya target yg di inginkan adalah sbb: bisa melakukan backup dan restore sesuai dgn data terakhir ( tgl yg diinginkan ) Selama ini proses backupnya berjalan dalam dua mode : 1. Daily mode, yg dibackup per mailbox dari user. 2. Weekly mode, yg dibackup seluruh database dari MS Exchange. Persoalan baru muncul pada waktu restore. Kerna untuk merestore data (contoh soal, data per hari Rabu ) dilakukan dalam 2 step : -Step pertama, restore weekly, agar databasenya mendekati hari Rabu -Step kedua, restore daily yaitu menggunakan tape hari Rabu. Untuk mendapatkan kondisi mailbox terkhir. Penah kami mencoba untuk merestore per data terakhir ( tape Rabu ), hasilnya adalah di mailbox tidak menghasilkan kondisi terakhir tetapi komposisi dari email di mailbox adalah email-email sebelum di restore ditambah email-email hasil restore. ( Jadi tidak meniban/replace ) Sebenarnya yg ingin diharapkan adalah restore cukup sekali saja, untuk mendapatkan kondisi data terakhir ( per hari Rabu ) Saya mohon advisenya dari ITer-Iter sekalian yg punya pengalam dgn Arcserve dalam membackup MS Exchange. Mungkin ada salah satu parameter ( utk replace ) yg kelewat, baik pada waktu backup atawa restore. Terima kasih Abang Albert. Masalahnya sudah terpecahkan, Upgrade Server dari COMPAQ Proliant ML350 (Hdd 10GB) ke HP Proliant ML350 G4 (Hdd 40GB) 1. Copy Driver2 yang lama Novel 4.x pada NWSERVER ke Directory temporary (hanya file2 yang namanya sama dengan Driver bawaan PC Server Novell 5.x) 2. Selanjutnya Copy Driver2 Server yang baru (Driver2 Novell Netware Versi 5.x) ke dalam NWSERVER, disini ada beberapa file yang diperlukan untuk menjalankan Novel 4.x salah satunya file2 : LSIMPTNW. 3. Copy kembali file dari Directory temporary tsb 4. Selanjutnya Startup.ncf belum dibuatkan loading2 driver apapun. 5. Setelah masuk Prompt Console dan Jalankan Load Install Driver IDEATA (compatiblenya). NB. yang menarik disini, Sebelum dicopy balik dari Directory Temporary Driver2 tsb 'Not loaded', namun setelah dicopy semua yang ada di Directory Temporary ternyata 'Berhasil'. Kalau melihat 2 partisi dari FDISK yg sudah tercopy (ghost) sepertinya sudah oke. Langkah pertama saya pada startup.ncf dan autoexec.ncf nya saya matikan loading2 yang tdk perlu. Selanjutnya sudah Masuk dari Console Load Install dan Driver options, configure disk and strorage device drivers cuma ada IDECD dan IDEATA, apa masih ada yang kurang..?? Masalahnya belum bisa Mounting dan load monitor belum bisa jalan sama sekali.
