Beberapa ISP berhasil bertahan karena memiliki sambungan lain. Salah satu yang bertahan adalah QuasarNet, ISP sekaligus Network Access Provider (NAP) yang bermarkas di Bandung tersebut mengklaim terhindar dari bencana internet yang sedang melanda Indonesia. Sebagai NAP QuasarNet memang memiliki izin untuk menarik bandwidth dari luar negeri. QuasarNet mempunyai koneksi backbone alternatif melalui satelit dengan hub di daratan eropa, selain koneksi backbone melalui serat optik yang sekarang sedang bermasalah itu. Pemilihan kedua koneksi back-bone ini juga sengaja dibuat terpisah, satu melalui jalur timur (via serat optik) dan satu lagi melaui jalur barat (via satelit), ujar Yana S. Raharja Managing Director QuasarNet. Demi solidaritas sesama ISP, QuasarNet menyediakan proxy e-mail gratis yang bisa digunakan semua ISP di Bandung. kemaren dapet cara rubah dari text ke barcode lewat script tersendiri jadi
pas di looping wah error mulu...ternyata setelah digoogling lagi, kita tinggal
install font untuk barcode 39 aja.
Mungkin nanti saya akan banyak tanya tentang php..harap jangan bosen yah

Solusi untuk masa depannya, pernah saya sarankan beberapa kali di milis ini, maupun di milis komputer lainnya. Pertama, semua drive komputer harus dipisahkan antara drive sistim dan drive data dengan cara, saat memformat, hard disk di partisi menjadi sedikitnya 2 partisi. Kenapa ? Karena umumnya, virus menyerang drive sistim dan jarang menyerang drive data. Kedua, selalu menggunakan program anti virus dengan virus definition yang selalu di updated. Jadi bukan program anti virusnya yang terpenting, namun virus definitionnya yang paling penting. Ketiga, selalu membackup data, sehingga kalau terkena virus atau data rusak, paling-paling yang harus diulang pekerjaan hari itu saja. Keempat, selalu hindarkan menerima file dari orang lain, membuka website porno, karena ini merupakan sumber paling banyak kemungkinan membawa virus. Salah satu kelemahan dari notebook Toshiba, khususnya untuk p3 adalah inverter-nya sering problem. silahkan inverternya anda ganti, jika baru harganya diatas US $ 80 dan harus indent, kalo second hand harganya antara rp. 250 - 325 ribu. jika anda beruntung dapat inverter yang bagus dapat running untuk 1 tahun, jika ngak ya lumayan dapat running ± 1 bulan... hehehe.. salam, - Dear all, Gua ada masalah lagi nih, Laptop di kantor saya (dipake sama user) ada masalah yang sangat aneh nih, kalo udah dipake kelamaan (kepanasan) layarnya akan berubah jadi gelap, tapi kalo udah dimatiin dan udah dingin dinyalain lagi bisa berjalan normal lagi, Untuk informasi, laptopnya merk Toshiba dan umurnya mungkin udah hampir nyampe 6-7 tahun kali (kira kiranya) soalnya masih pake pentium III.
