Sebenarnya tujuan utama VMware vSphere 4 ini untuk mengoptimalkan utilisasi CPU dan Memory, selain itu untuk penghematan tempat, power, dan managemen server serta meminimalkan kabel baik kabel power, UTP, Fiber. Didalam satu physical server ini bisa diisi bermacam virtual server termasuk windows dan linux base. Bisa juga dipakai untuk VPS. Waktu dicoba akses dari client hanya bisa dengan menggunakan alamat IP-nya tidak bisa langsung dengan nama host tsb. Kenapa Ya?
