Mas Kurniawan, Seperti yg rekan lain katakan, bisa juga penyebabnya di LAN Card. Coba anda beli LAN Card PCI biasa (bukan yg PCI Express) dan pasang di slot PCI yg ada dan setting IP dari LAN Card tambahan tsb. Soalnya LAN Card onboard biasanya suka aneh2 jika sudah dipakai 3 tahun lebih. Di kantor saya sudah lama tidak memakai Win 98, semua komp hampir semuanya memakai Win 7 Pro FPP, sisanya masih Windows XP Pro. Memangnya komp tsb Pentium berapa ? Kenapa tidak diinstall Win XP saja yg lebih stabil dan jarang bermasalah. Lalu anda pakai Win 98 biasa atau Win 98 SE (Second Edition). Pada Win 98 SE terdapat beberapa update penting dan juga menawarkan beberapa jenis kompabilitas hardware. PS: Merk LAN Card onboard apa? Sudah coba diupdate driver untuk LAN Card onboard tsb? Benar kata om Albert, Di network setting win 98 harus nambah Domain User/Computer atau apa gitu (lupa2 inget2).. Nah pasti minta Domain Name atau Domain IP, kalo ketemu dah dipastikan bisa.. Kalau boleh saran, Mulai dari Infrastruktur dan Programmingnya di Upgrade semua pak. termasuk OS Windows Server dan Clientnya. (untuk mendukung Security dan Sharing yang lebih baik serta peningkatan Performance). OS Server menggunakan Windows Server 2008, Client Windows 7 (Karena Xp sudah tidak Old technology) Program2 yang masih pakai Clipper di Re-Program ulang, dapat menggunan VB, MsAccess, atau yang lainnya. Program2 lama sebaiknya di test dulu di Windows 7.
