sebelumnya saya sudah gunakan greasemonkey.
saya lalu coba install script untuk rapidshare ini.
entah kenapa, walaupun script ini sudah jalan,
untuk download dari rapidshare tetap harus "wait" dan tidak bisa multiple 
download.
alhasil saya uninstall lagi scriptnya.

nanti SQL scripting-nya ditulis dalam file *.ec
(dengan syntax tertentu)
kemudian di pre-compile jadi *.c
nah, *.c tersebut yang akan digabung/compile/link 
dengan the rest of the application

pertanyaan: 
oracle anda menyertakan modul eSQL/C 
atau semacamnya, atau tidak?

kalau menyertakan tapi belum diinstall, install dulu.
kalau tidak menyertakan, beli modulnya.

cara lain:
kalau oracle anda bisa diakses pakai ODBC,
write your C program using ODBC connections.

bisa jadi batangannya ambil di samsung atau taiwan punya.

coba cari-cari driver yang cocok untuk flash disk universal.
biasanya nggak susah kok dapetnya.
kadang driver flash disk yang satu bisa dipakai oleh lainnya,
walaupun mereknya beda.

install aja secara berurutan.
saat install windows kedua dan seterusnya, 
baca message2nya dengan teliti.
suatu saat akan ditanya, yang kira2 artinya
"sudah ada OS windows di PC ini. mau ditimpa ke situ atau bikin di tempat 
baru?"
pilih install ke lokasi baru.
jadi deh.
ini bisa dilakukan berulang.

hasil akhirnya akan berbentuk sbb:
saat boot, akan ada menu pilih OS.
(masih dalam text mode, belum masuk ke GUI)
tinggal pilih OS mana yang mau diboot, 
maka booting akan berlanjut ke OS yang dipilih.

kalau mau utak-atik, maka menu tsb bisa 
dibuka / kelihatan di dalam file c:\boot.ini
kalau ada 3 OS, maka akan ada 3 baris OS info di boot.ini tsb.
utak-atik aja boot.ini tsb untuk mengeset default boot nya.

kalau belum yakin, coba installnya di di harddisk yang nggak kepakai :)
bikin 2, 3 atau 4 OS windows di 1 harddisk.

practice make perfect.

Baru minggu lalu nanya2 kabel DKU-5 di Roxy,
ada yang berani ngasih harga 125rb.
Asal rajin nanya aja ke semua toko.

Kabel perpanjangan USB yang 5 meter harusnya nggak sampai 200rb lah.
Yang semeter-an aja cuma 15 rb. Coba jalan2 ke glodok or mangdu deh.

Yang paling afdol ya HD yang mau diselamatkan dijadikan slave.

Soale, kalau HD itu tetep jadi master dan kita menjalankan 
sebuah software (apapun software itu) di HD tsb, 
maka kita gak pernah tau,  apakah software tersebut 
akan melakukan penulisan ke HD atau tidak...

Belum lagi kemungkinan bahwa OS Windows nya
melakukan swap ke HD juga...

Hopefully belum sampai kejadian spt itu.

Setuju. Software apapun tidak akan membantu,
kalau cara penanganan data hilangnya juga kurang tepat.

Penjelasannya begini.
Kita bayangkan Harddisk itu tanah luas.
Sebuah file JPG misal menempati 1 kapling di alamat kapling X (misal).
Sebuah file MOV misal menempati 123 kapling di alamat kapling Y s/d Y+122.

Saat file JPG tsb terhapus, 
kapling X menjadi kosong lagi, namun bekasnya masih ada. 
Selama kapling X belum ada file baru yang menempati, 
file JPG tsb bisa di-recover.

Saat file MOV tsb terhapus, 
kapling Y s/d Y+122 kosong lagi, namun bekasnya masih ada.
Selama kapling Y s/d Y+122 belum ada file baru,
file MOV tsb bisa di-recover.

*tragisnya*,
kalau saat JPG dan MOV itu terhapus,
user kemudian *baru* install OnTrack,
yang kebetulan *menimpa* kapling X, atau salah
satu kapling dari Y s/d Y+122.
Ya hilanglah file JPG dan MOV tsb.
