asumsinya ini mau develop di web ya, sebenarnya mau pake teknologi web
apapun juga bisa entah itu asp.net, php, jsp, etc. kan intinya cuman
browser nge-render HTML. dan kebanyakan smartphone sekarang sudah bisa
render HTML standard dengan benar, bahkan kebanyakan uda support HTML5 dan
CSS3 - terutama yg pake webkit.

yg paling penting diperhatikan adalah di mobile device screen real
estate-nya terbatas. jadi perlu disesuaikan layout page nya, terutama
width-nya. perlu diingat juga processing power di mobile device terbatas,
jadi iklan/animasi warna-warni bakal bikin web page-nya berasa berat dan
lambat.

btw, situ pake WP? kayanya ada mobile plugin untuk WP gw liat. disclaimer:
gw blom pernah pake sendiri.

setau saya lumayan ada selusin produk call recording di pasaran, di
antaranya yg bisa saya ingat: Verint, Dimetro, NICE. produk2 ini standalone
dan kelas call centre, bisa dipakai di kebanyakan pbx baik TDM maupun VoIP.
kebetulan company saya partner dengan 2 vendor pertama yg saya sebutkan.

kalau mau repot, bisa coba2 pakai Wireshark buat capture RTP streamnya lalu
diconvert ke wav. tool buat convert RTP ke wav ada saya liat di
voip-info.org.

kemungkinan besar sih Pak Gildas ngga bakal jawab pertanyaan anda, karena
di privacy policy yg baru itu ngga disebutkan konten/email di gmail bisa
diakses oleh search engine-nya google dan yg kemudian bisa di-list di hasil
pencarian secara publik.

dari dulu mah email di gmail memang sudah diindex dan diakses oleh search
enginenya, tapi datanya itu dipakai untuk menargetkan iklan dan
memungkinkan anda sendiri untuk melakukan search ke dalam email sendiri,
ngga oleh publik. kalau sampai konten email di gmail bisa tersedia di
publik bisa2 terjadi perang dunia ke-tiga!

mungkin beliau kebingungan dalam membedakan "konten gmail" dan "personal
information". personal information yg dishare itu sendiri pilihannya
bersifat "opt-in", bukan "opt-out":

dulu sempat diskusi di milis ini soal memperbesar gambar sekaligus
mempertahankan details gambar itu. kesimpulannya saat itu ini tidak bisa
mungkin dilakukan.

baru baca artikel ini, dan ini salah satu bukti konkritnya:

kalau dilihat, gambar rover yg tertangkap itu masih sangat buram. padahal
gambar itu ditangkap melalui orbiter yg berjarak hanya puluhan km dari
permukaan bulan. kalau billion dollarnya NASA ngga mampu meperjelas gambar
itu, bisa ditarik kesimpulannya sendiri apakah dengan PC rumahan dan
software dengan harga hanya ratusan dollar mampu memperjelas gambar itu.

kalau punya budget 10x nya NASA dan bisa didekasikan khusus untuk riset ini,
ya mungkin suatu hari bisa ketemu magic-nya. tetapi hukum alam di dunia ini
sudah ditentukan, kita bisa membikin proyeksi ke depan dengan data yg ada
saat ini seperti ramalan. tetapi semakin jauh jarak ramalan itu dari saat
sekarang, akurasi ramalan itu akan semakin jauh melenceng.

jadi kalau ada yg bilang punya software yg bisa memperbesar dan memperjelas
sebuah gambar 100x, anda bisa manggut2 saja.

kalau cuman playback HD 1080p sih kayanya intel atom generasi terbaru udah

tapi mengingat conference itu dua arah, jadi untuk safe-nya pakai processor
yg dual core.

ngomong2 ini conference nya pakai internet atau local? uda yakin bandwidth
koneksi internetnya cukup? buat HD streaming itu butuh minimal ~10mbps.

trus jg gw liat di website oovoo, HD nya yg disupport itu max 720p.

itu gak ada command buat uncombine file nya, karena 'copy' memang bukan
packaging tool. metadata file info nya ngga ikut kesimpan.

cuma ide, kalau mau coba2, cari file header atau EOF marker-nya file .dbf di
file hasil combine itu. lalu bikin file .dbf kosong dan copy isinya file
gabungan itu dari awal file header sampai EOF setiap kali ketemu. seharusnya
ketemu EOF/file header 10x kalau memang benar. mungkin perlu bantuan hex
editor buat cari marker nya. good luck.

kemungkinan besar itu gara2 channel yg sudah 'crowded'. coba ganti2
channelnya.

kalau mau lebih bagus, pake wifi yg pakai spektrum 5.8ghz yg lebih lebar.
soalnya yg 2.4ghz sekarang sudah padat oleh bermacam2 wireless gadget.
cuman masalahnya, wifi client/router support yg 5.8ghz belum banyak.

lagi 'iseng mode' aja, soalnya gw stfw pake kata kunci 'block gps signal'
nongol semua kok. :D

kalau GPS-nya ada antenna bisa tinggal copot/patahin antennanya.
bisa juga dibungkus pake aluminium foil atau masukin ke container
besi/metal.
kalau unitnya built-in dan tersembunyi, bisa pakai jammer yg ditunjukkan
ryo.

kalau mau 'do it in style', pake cara yg gw sebutkan sebelumnya. :))

ini mau pakai nameserver sendiri? nameserver dns2.domain2.com beserta IP
addressnya sudah di-register blom untuk domain1.com lewat domain
registrar-nya? seharusnya sih ini bisa di-register melalui admin page
registrar-nya.

trus, di nameserver baru itu juga harus ada NS record buat domain1.com. dan
juga, karena kebanyakan DNS server di seluruh dunia menggunakan cache, ada
kemungkinan anda harus menunggu sampai TTL-nya (time to live) lewat supaya
terupdate dengan registry yg baru, kecuali kalau domain itu memang belum
pernah ter-resolved oleh DNS server yg digunakan client-nya.

mendeteksi trojan/malware memang susah. but how the malware got into its
place in the first place is the question. kalau system-nya memang sudah
compromised, mau pakai browser apapun tetap tidak aman, contohnya komputer
yg terpasang accoustic, OS-based, atau hardware keylogger. tapi setidaknya
user yg paham betul soal komputer dan security jauh lebih kecil kemungkinan
komputer miliknya terinfeksi malware. kesadaran user masih nomor satu
dibanding segala teknik pencegahan. contohnya, orang yg ngerti soal security
akan berpikir 10x untuk memakai komputer warnet/teman untuk mengakses
internet banking. mungkin analogi mobil di bawah lebih cocok diterapkan di
sini, lebih aman pakai komputer milik sendiri daripada komputer yg bisa

yup betul, mudah dilakukan kepada pengguna awam. buat user yg paham soal
keamanan/social engineering dan punya kebiasaan baik, e.g. ngga sembarang
buka atau download link/attachment yg tidak jelas, ngga asal pake software

karena agak mengekang, e.g. website harus masuk whitelist supaya bisa
dibrowse.

coba pasang performance monitoring tool. pas aplikasi nya dijalankan ntar
dimonitor, kalau operasi I/O disk-nya tinggi kemungkinan memory kurang
karena harus bolak balik ke swap file. bisa juga karena disknya terlalu
fragmented.

kalau CPU usage tinggi ya berarti prosesor kurang memadai. kalau grafik-nya
tidak kompleks tapi CPU usage tetap tinggi kemungkinan ya instalasi windows
atau corel-nya bermasalah, bisa juga karena ada virus atau spyware, dan
masih banyak kemungkinan lain.

error itu bukan di ym nya, tapi di html page-nya yieldmanager.com. ada bug
di script nya.

solusinya coba sembunyiin ads nya di ym:

Freelance Graphics / User Interface (UI) Designer

Requirements:

   - Good design eyes, e.g. able to produce clean, professional and
   attractive designs using tools of your choice
   - Good understanding of web design principles, e.g. able to create
   table-less web layouts using XHTML and CSS
   - Must have attention to details
   - Knowledge of Microsoft Expression Suite (Blend, Design, etc) and XAML
   will be an advantage
   - Knowledge of Flash will be highly favoured


This is a freelance opportunity on a per-project basis with a huge
possibility to become on-going.

bukannya emang ukuran CD sekarang rata" 700MB? kalau lebih dikit (<10%,
tergantung CD jg) km bisa coba allow overburn.

convert ke vcd sih gampang, banyak tool yg tinggal pakai. avi file splitter
juga banyak. point gw adalah perlukah km repot" convert? belum lagi kualitas
video pasti akan menurun signifikan kalau diconvert ke vcd.

Kalau itu file avi ya kasih aja file nya, bisa diburn ke cd-rom. Asal yg
terima file itu punya codec yg tepat, pasti bisa memutar file avi tersebut
dari cd-rom.

points taken. kesimpulan saya:

   - kalau saya cuma punya 1 image berarti ini ngga akan berkerja sama
   sekali.
   - untuk bisa perbesar 10x (yg equivalent dengan 10x optical zoom),
   setidaknya harus ada 100 images yg akan diextract framenya untuk mendapatkan
   hasil yg berarti. 100 frames ini juga harus extremely closely-shifted, which
   is far beyond the capability of our average toys.
   - kalau saya punya 1 frames, ini ngga berarti saya bisa bikin image
   itu 1000x lebih besar. jumlah frames yg diperlukan akan bertambah secara
   exponential.
