Terima kasih Pak Wie-2x dan Pak Albert atas balasannya. yg Power Edge sebagai server pak :) mungkin saja karena isi HDnya tidak sama menentukan lama tidaknya proses Ghost berlangsung. Memang benar kita jarang melakukan Ghost Backup, kita melakukannya sebelum melakukan perubahan (di sisi software) yg dirasa penting untuk membackup ghost dulu sebelum melakukannya sehingga worst casenya apabila gagal maka mudah untuk mengembalikan seperti awal lagi. Tentu saja akan jauh lebih baik jika kita bisa minimize downtimenya ketika melakukan Ghost Backup. Apakah ada manual/document reference-nya untuk menggunakan Norton Ghost yang dari Hiren's karena saya coba cari di google tidak menemukan. Pak Albert, Saya kasih typenya aja ya untuk buat contoh kasusnya, kalo yg cepet tuh pake dell precision 670 kalo yang lama pake dell poweredge 2850. kebetulan kita bukan dari dept IT namun berkutat dengan banyak PC dan norton ghost merupakan tools yg sangat membantu untuk maintenance kita. namun kita juga perlu untuk meminimize down time ketika kita lakukan ghost backupnya.
