[ITCENTER] Akses system di vmware melalui jaringan
Dear All, MOhon advis-nya, bagaimana agar kita bisa mengakses aplikasi yg jalan di vmware. Case-nya begini : saya punya vmware yg berisi aplikasi web. Aplikasi ini sudah jalan secara local (di dalam vmware tentunya). Nah, bagaimana caranya agar saya bisa akses web ini dari pc lain yg ada di jaringan ? Di "Ethernet" setting di vmware kan ada option : -Bridged -NAT -Host Only Saya sudah set NAT, dan saya bisa akses share folder yg ada di jaringan saya. Cuman kalau dari pc lain mau akses ke vmware yg masih belum tahu caranya. Mohon pencerahannya. [ITCENTER] FTP problem
Hi All, Saya ada project yg perlu upload file2 besar ( antara 300kb - 5Mb) ke ftp server yg berlokasi di US. Saya menggunakan koneksi Dial-up (56kbps). Saya menghadapi problem, yaitu sering putus di tengah jalan. Kalau saya amati, saat2 awal koneksi bagus (50kb), lalu secara drastis turun terus akhirnya sampai 0Kb/sec. Agak lama, baru naik lagi, tapi biasanya lalu putus, jadi upload terpaksa di-resume lagi. Saya coba ke beberapa ftp site (gratisan) yg lain ternyata gak problem. Kira2 apa penyebabnya ya ? Partner yg di US bilang selama ini site-nya ok-ok saja buat upload dari berbagai negara/benua. MOhon advisnya. [ITCENTER] Keanehan pada modem dial-up
Hi Rekanz, Beberapa hari ini saya perhatikan ada yg agak janggal di koneksi dial-up internet saya. Saya perhatikan di properties modem connection : terjadi bytes sent- out yg terus menerus, padahal kalau dicek sebetulnya tdk ada koneksi dari client yg melakukan upload, ataupun sending email dengan ukuran besar. Jadi begitu modem terkonek ke isp, maka bytes sent-out-nya akan terus berjalan. Saya coba cek pake network monitor, ternyata tidak ada frame yg tercapture (meskipun statistic-nya untuk bytes yg keluar terus meningkat). Saya gak tau emg ini paket aneh yg tidak teridentifikasi oleh network monitor (windows) atau emg network monitor-nya gak bekerja secara benar utk interface dial-up. Saya coba pake ethersnoop, malah dial-up interface-nya ga kedetek sama sekali. [ITCENTER] Pengiriman smtp message di Outlook 2003
Guys, Sebelumnya saya pake outlook 2000, dengan Exchnage server utk messagingnya. Selama itu, kalau saya create email utk kirim user diluar kantor (smtp), deliverynya dilakukan oleh Exchange (smtp connector). Jadi begitu di-send, langsung masuk di sent box. Sekarang saat dah upgrade ke Outlook2003, kok setiap pengiriman email keluar dihandle sama smtp winsock client ya ? Jadi, setiap kali send email (terutama kalao ada attachment) terasa bahwa client yg berkomunikasi langsung dengan external smtp server (bukan melalui exchange). Jadi keliatan tuh prosesnya lama ada di outbox, baru beberapa saat kemudian pindah ke sent box. Beberapa hari ini salah satu wokstation di kantor tiba2 ga bisa browsing ke secure website alias yg ada https -nya. (contoh : gmail, webmail cbn, dll). Di tool->internet optin->advance, juga sudah di-reset ke default tetep ga mau. [ITCENTER] Tampilan warna berantakan
ada yg pernah mengalami problem seperti ini gak ? Tampilan layar komputer saya kadang2 ngaco, sebagian (ga semua) warnanya jadi berantakan pas jalani MS WOrd, buka email, dll. Kalau saya highligt salah satu email di OL, terus pindah ke email lainnya, maka highlight yg sebelumnya ga mau ilang. Jadi kaco deh. Demkian juga di word. warna2 toolbar / menu bisa berantakan susah dilihat. Mo nanya lagi nih ! saya tadinya pake MSDE utk database dari sebuah aplikasi. Karena msde gak support fulltext search, saya coba install Sql2K di komputer yg sama. Terus saya coba jalankan : EXEC sp_fulltext_database "enable". ok, sorry, waktu itu buru2 (baru ngeh ternyata emg ga jelas he..he..) maksudnya begini: di visio kan ada template bikin project timeline (ada di business stensil) Nah, sejauh ini kalau kita mau set start / end suatu task, itu harus pake exact date. Dalam prakteknya kadang2 kebutuhannya ga bisa seperti itu (karena kita belum tau exact datenya). So, yang diperlukan adalah pake sistem day 1, day2, dst. (tanpa menyebut tanggal exactnya). Hi all, saya punya sebuah program aplikasi TRIAL version yg menggunakan SQL/MSDE sbg databasenya. Untuk menjalankan progrma tsb. saya harus initialize system dulu dengan menspecify nama DSN, nama databasenya, dll (ODBC setting) utk create database. Setting ini hanya meng-create database kosong, sementara itu juga sudah disediakan contoh database yang sudah ada isinya, yaitu pm.mdf & pm_log.ldf. Waktu initialize saya sudah sesuaikan namanya sama juga seperti di atas. Tapi saat saya copy over, kok ga dikenal ya database tsb ? Outlook saya datanya di exchange server. Saya kira ga da masalah dg data di server. Kalo pake OWA (outlook web access) ga masalah, bisa. Keliatannya ada something wrong dengan workstationnya cuman bingung, menganalisa modul MAPI mananya yg bikin hang. Atau mungkin ada service2 lainnya yg bikin hang. Udah dicek pake antivirus, spamware, dsb. tapi tetap aja masalah kalau buka message. dear all, saya ada masalah dengan MS Outlook. Karena listrik turun, maka workstation mati tanpa shutdown (win98). Setelah itu salah satu workstation (gak semua) jadi problem. saat restart dan jalanin outlook jadi gak bisa buka message.
