Dapet CD instalasi cuma 4, trus pas diinstal lama buanget and sering ada error. Ada yang tau kenapa hal ini bisa terjadi ? Setahu saya mandrake 10.0 itu terdiri dari 5 CD. Kira-kira ada yang kurang ? setuju sekali.. Ide bikin asessoris ITCENTER sebenarnya dari dulu sudah muncul, tapi sepertinya realisasinya belum pernah memuaskan alias belum ada (setidaknya saya belum tahu). Termasuk ide untuk Copy Darat anggota milis, seingat saya pernah ada saat Pameran di JHCC (tapi aq tidak ikut juga sich) Ide tersebut kayaknya susah dilakukan kalo' tidak ada sponsornya Bagaimana kalo' yang punya modal langsung bicara dengan moderator (Pak Kristy Pak Yudha atau yang lainnya) untuk bicarakan hal ini. wah rumit juga..karena mesti setting TCP IP biar komp yang DOS based itub bisa connect dengan Win2k Servernya Friends, Kebetulan saya sedang menghandle kerjaan menggantikan server Novell dengan windows 2000, namun ada satu aplikasi clipper yang harus jalan. Nah, aplikasi ini diakses oleh komputer pentium 1 200 Mhz sebanyak 4 bijix. Dan yang punya kerjaan nggak mau ngeluwarin ongkos untuk upgrade pokoknya Pentium 200 tsb harus jalan aplikasi clippernya... Kondisinya tidak mau install window 95 atau windows 98, tapi MSDOS cukup. diharapkan dengan disket saja sudah run... Bagaimana membuat NetBIOS di Windows 2000 bisa diakses oleh MSDOS, jadi, seperti novell setiap login dia bisa bikin drive F: yang sesungguhnya drive F ini berada di server. jaringannya cuman peer to peer/2 komputer, jadi komputernya harus sy konekkan dulu ya komputer yang satunya, emank waktu sy install ADnya kemarin dalam keadaan standalone. Pastikan NIC konek ke HUB/Switch sebelum setup AD. pilih Reconect at Logon waktu mapping Di kantor saya pakai Windows 2000 Advance Server SP 4, semua yg user tersimpan di situ. Yg jd masalah PC yg menggunakan Windows 98 setelah log off pagi2 bisa connect ke server dan access ke data di server, kemudian setelah habis makan siang, tiba2 ketika mau access ke data di server muncul pesan Access is denied. Kenapa ya? Tp kalo di disconnect semua Map network drive-nya, terus di buat lg mappingnya jalan lg. Tapi kalau setiap hari terjadi spt itu kan cape... Please help me... pake Get Data Back Dear miliser, spek PC saya : - Pentium 1,8 - 256 Mb RAM - Mobo ECS - Windows XP Komputer saya sebelumnya memiliki satu hard disk 20 GB, lalu kemudian saya menambah hard disk kedua 80 GB sebagai slave dan memindahkan data-data penting saya dari hard disk pertama ke hard disk kedua. Setelah data-data dipindahkan lalu saya menginstal ulang Windows XP. Setelah menginstall Windows XP ternyata di Windows Explorer hard disk kedua gak bisa dibuka dengan message box kira-kira seperti This disk is not formatted. Do you want to format it now?. Saya tidak ingin memformatnya karena pasti akan menghapus data-data yang ada. Pada disk management juga hard disk kedua ini Dynamic Unreadable. Gimana caranya mengambil kembali data-data di disk tersebut? Messenger), tetapi tidak bisa browsing, bagaimana caranya ya ? Disini pakai Winroute. Karena kebanyakan kantor justru kebalikannya : block YM tetapi allow browsing. kalo boleh tahu koneksinya internetnya pake apa ya..? kalo pake Dialup..kalo bisa sih pake wingate. Tapi kalo pake WaveLAN dengan 2 NIC di server..IPnya di NAT aja. jadi di Client arahkan Gateway ke IP Eth0 Server, jangan lupa DNS dari ISPx. Kenapa gak pake linux aja di servernya, lebih nyaman dalam manajemen networknya. Semoga membantu. Salam, DeMy MIniXX Rekan - Rekan, Saya mau tanya mengenai sharing internet. Saya menggunakan 2 PC yang masing2 menggunakan OSnya Win XP. Keduanya sudah terhubung dengan LAN dan saya sudah coba koneksi keduanya dengan menggunakan Network Bridge. Untuk koneksi internet sharingnya sudah bisatapi ketika mau browsing di workstation tidak bisa, hanya bisa di server aja karena sudah jelas internet connectionnya dari situ. Workstation pd internet explorer optionnya sudah di set, saya rasa ada yang kurang settingannyamungkin dari rekan2 ada yang bisa membantu ? Jadi kalo boleh saya perjelas lagi masalahnya.Internet Connection sudah bisa sharing, tetapi di workstationnya tetap tidak bisa browsing, seolah-olah tidak ada koneksi internet (PAGE NOT FOUND). Apa harus tetap menggunakan Wingate ? Bukannya Network Bridge di Win XP sudah cukup ? Tx. Koneksi dari rumah ke kantor kan via internet jadi melewati beberapa router. nah kemungkinan paket/vnc dari rumah anda tidak lewat disalah satu router. Lebih baik memang sama2 menggunakan dialup tp agak lambat. Connection timeout biasanya karena koneksi terlalu pelan. Dan terjadi idle timeout. Kalo ga salah di configuration VNC, ada disconnect idle client after (second) coba di perbesar valuenya. Untuk meningkatkan performa,set color level nya ke low (64 color) saja. pake software IP Scanner aja untuk mengetahui IP dalam satu LAN Klo km pake Windows 2000 atau XP, coba km masuk ke Windows Explorer, trus klik kanan icon My Computer, lalu pilih manage, trus dibagian Computer Management km masuk ke menu Services Applications, lalu pilih menu Services. Di bagian Services km cari Messenger, lalu km klik 2 kali pada menu Messenger, lalu dibagian tab General bagian Startup type km ganti menjadi Disabled (defaultnya Automatic). Setelah itu km tombol Apply, lalu dibagian Service status km klik tombol Stop, lalu km klik tombol OK. Sesudah itu km close semuanya, trus restart Windows. Seharusnya jika services Messenger sudah dibuat gak aktif lagi, temen2 kerja km gak akan bisa kirim pesan ke km lagi. Smoga dapat membantu. semua distro bisa..tergantung lebih familiar kemana buat teman2 yang jago linux... Dikantor saya server untuk internetemailnya jadi satu menggunakan winsows server 2003 (pake wingat utk internet M-daemon eamilnya) tappi saya ingin mencoba mengganti server tersebut dengan dengan LINUX.. Berhubung saya bener2 amsih awam dengan linux, saya ingin tanya.. Adakah LINUX yang bisa dipake untuk internet server mail server? Linux ynag mana ya? hubnya sering restart kali Dear All IT, Yth Kenapa yah Network drive di computer client selalu seperti terputus ke server jika sudah agak lama, apalagi kalau computer itu ditinggal pergi atau diabaiakan selama kurang lebih 30 menit, jadi pada saat ingin membuka file XLS atau DOC dari network drive pasti lama sekali, beda kalau kita baru memulai menghidupkan computer dan login keserver, semua file yang di network drive pasti cepat dibukannya. System diServer menggunakan W200 dan client yg menggunakan W2000 dan XP, kedua system ini permasalahannya sama. Bedanya lagi kalau clientnya menggunakan WinNT servernya W2000 problem ini tidak ada. 1. manajemen network berbasis domain tuh lebih bagus, pengaturan security lebih mudah..gak pengaruh pake dengan OS yang ada diclient 2. Active Directory itu fasilitas yang ada di Win2k server family, buat ngatur jaringan Hi milisers! Minta ilmunya tentang Windows Server 2003 donk. Selama ini saya cuman pake WinServ2003 di server Compaq Proliant ML-150 (Pentium III) - bekas - buat web server ama DHCP server aja. Untuk yang lain-lain banyak yang belum tahu... Misalnya... 1. Gimana sih cara bikin network domain dan apa saja keunggulan network dengan domain? Kondisinya sebagian besar client menggunakan Windows XP Prof dan beberapa Windows 98. Mohon petunjuknya... 2. Apa yang dimaksud dengan Active Directory? Apa keunggulannya? Bagaimana tata cara dan segala tetek bengeknya? Bener-bener gak ngerti nih... hampa... 3. Saya coba install SUS server di WinServ2003, tapi kok malah web-ku yang pake ASP jadi berantakan (banyak error)? Apa penyebabnya? Akhirnya saya pindah web tsb ke web root laen yang gak terinstall SUS, dan semua kembali lancar... 4. Saya sering denger istilah RAID, sebenarnya makhluk apa RAID itu? Apa kegunaannya? pake wireless aja mas Saya punya sedikit trouble Jaringan. Dua gedung saya hubungkan dengan modem DASAN == Tanya : Kenapa terkadang koneksi tak tersambung ?? Termasuk juga PC - PC yang terhubung di bawahnya. Saya juga pernah coba menghubungkan hub - hubnya dengan Merk Hub berbeda, semula lancar tapi setelah 5 bulan koneksinya tersendat. == Req : Tolong donk Om - om bantu saya.
