[ITCENTER] HD kedetect di BIOS, tapi ngga jalan
Saya punya HD Fujitsu 3,2MB. Di BIOS kedetect tapi Win98 ngga jalan. Saya coba di double sebagai slave, tetap ngga kedetect. Saya coba bantu. Correct me if i'm wrong. 1. Didalam UPS sudah termasuk Stabilizer. Jadi kalau udah pake UPS ngga perlu pake Stabilizer lagi. 2. Voltase di rumah 220. Kalau tegangan turun sampe 110? Ngga salah? Kayaknya ngga mungkin deh. Mustinya, turunnya paling jadi 200-an. 3. Stabilizer yang baik adalah yang dilengkapi dengan motor regulator, sehingga ia akan menstabilkan tegangan yang turun. Cirinya motor regulator adalah jarum meteran-nya bisa turun naik. Harga mulai 140rb-an. Merk stabilizer yang baik Mat Suyama atau Mat Sunaga. Hindari merk Mat Solar. 4. [ITCENTER] Mengetahu MB atau Processor bermasalah?
Saya punya kasus sbb : 1. PC dinyalakan, lampu led CPU berkedip-kedip, terdengar suara RAM counting, monitor gelap. 2. Saya ganti VGA card. PC dinyalakan, lampu led CPU masih berkedip. 30 detik kemudian restart, monitorpun nyala. Tapi ... ini hanya bertahan 3 jam. Kembali ke no. 1. 3. Saya ganti Power Supply (PS), masih kondisi no. 1. 4. Saya curiga RAM. Saya cabut RAM. PC dinyalakan, tidak terdengar suara beep dari speaker. Saya ganti dengan RAM baru, tetap kondisi no. 1. 5. Pernah CPU restart (itupun setelah 30detik), monitor nyala, tapi hanya berlangsung 5 detik saja. Selanjutnya gelap. 6. Maka saya ambil kesimpulan MotherBoard atau Processor yang bersalah. Pembahasan ttg HD badsector kalo ngga salah pernah dibahas di milist ini. Bisa di search lagi. Tapi saya mau bantu dikit... Cara format HD BadSector (BS) sama saja seperti format HD yg tdk BS. Mengetahui lokasi HD BS bisa dengan cara defrag, tapi pake Defrag Win98, jelas sekali disitu. BS cenderung akan bertambah. Di kantor saya ada beberapa PC IBM pake HD IBM-Fujitsu (termasuk saya). PC adalah yg pertama HDnya ko'it alias mati. Tapi itu terjadi setelah 1 tahunan. Cukup pendek umurnya untuk sebuah HD. Gejala akan ko'it sudah terdetect 5 bulan sebelumnya. Saya-pun menerima beberapa order dari client ttg HD mereka yg mati, merknya ternyata IBM, terjadi setelah 1 tahunan juga. HD merk tersebut saya coba tawarkan ke pembeli HD bekas, ngga laku.
