Tadi siang baru bareng teman ke Dusit Mangdu beli Acer Aspire 4720 *tanpa O/S* Pas mau install dengan WinXP ternyata gak bisa karena HDD SATA nya gak kedetek, iseng-2 saya mengintip BIOSnya, ternyata ada pilihan SATA Mode dengan default AHCI Mode. So... caranya gampang: - Masuk ke BIOS dengan pencet F2 - Pindah ke tab MAIN - Ganti SATA Mode dari AHCI Mode menjadi IDE Mode - Tekan F10 dan YES ***Masalah selesai, sekarang anda bisa install WinXP tanpa perlu driver SATA :) Nah... sekarang pindah ke masalah utama, Aspire 4720 tidak bisa shutdown setelah diinstall Cam Driver Suyin Solusinya: - Buka Device Manager Imaging devices - Dobel klik Acer Crystal Eye Webcam - Pindah ke tab Driver - Klik tombol Update Driver - Pilih No, not this time Next - Pilih Install from spesific location Next - Pilih Don't search, bla bla bla Next - Pilih USB Video Device Next - Finish ***Masalah selesai, sekarang WinXP bisa shutdown tanpa nge-hang lagi. Actually I've been facing the same problem for three days. I've just discovered what actually the problem is. Aspire 4270 uses SATA hardisk but it's not supported by Win XP installer and Acer hasn't supplied the drivers in the BIOS or something like that. That's why the hardisk is detected in the BIOS but Win XP installer will give you message; no recognise disk. I've took out the hardisk and using it as external hardisk via USB. Win XP installer detected the hardisk but still couldn't install the OS. Then I found this forum. ;) 'bambamitsdead' and 'singchi' are correct. Unfortunately I couldn't find the drivers from Acer's website. I'm not sure wether it's in the CD that comes in the package because I'm helping my friend and he don't give me any CD.
