Mas Andrew sepertinya utk Unread Email itu anda salah
kaprah. Unread Email tsb adalah email yg baru saja
anda Receive dan Unread Email tsb ada di folder Inbox.
Klo anda klik tombol Inbox, maka akan ada 8 Unread
Email, lalu coba anda klik atau buka satu email, maka
jumlah Unread Email akan ada 7.

Klo Compaq(mungkin semua server), AFAIK klo ada 1 aja fan yg mati, maka
komputernya akan otomatis dishut down. walaupun baru dinyalain dan suhu
ruangan dingin, tetep komputer akan shut down sendiri. solusinya adalah anda
harus mengganti fan yg rusak itu.

klo service center compaq bisa di Harisma yang di tanah abang. no telpnya
saya lupa taro dimana.. tapi mungkin bisa tanya ke 108.

Komp. Gw dengan Win XP Prof MS Office 2003 SP2kalo lage ngetik Word / Excel
kadang kadang gw ketik huruf  "Y" pada keyboard yang keluar huruf "Z",
kenapa yak... contoh lain gw ketik ":" (baca : titik dua) yang keluar "E",
tulunk dung solusinya, apa ada virus atau bukan, tapi kalao gw keluar dan
masuk lagi ke excel atau word tidak apa2, tapi repot deh kalo hrs buka tutup
trs.

Aplikasi ini tidak perlu memasang software di client, cukup tahu IP target
dan passwordnya (sangat membantu kalo di domain, karena cukup pake password
admin domain bisa kemana2).

teserbut. Tanya baik-baik maksudnya apa, kali aja sekedar untuk menguji 
keamanan komputer Anda dan ternyata Anda dapat mengetahuinya, jadi kan hanya 
perlu mewaspadai hal itu tidak terulang lagi kan?. Tapi ini hanya sekedar 
saran, mau di remot juga boleh, kalau itu pilihan anda.

mantenance komputer kali??? soalnya kan lebih gampang mantenan lewat remote
tanpa mesti datengin tuh orang... sape tahu yg ngeremot itu Orang IT nya...
ato Bos lu... klo lu balik remot dia gimana klo dia ternyata bos lu??? hayo

cuma soal istilah. justru komputer yang diremote itu yang terpasang
adalah radmin server. client fungsinya untuk melakukan remote control
terhadap komputer yang sudah dipasang radmin server.

kemudian, radmin server kalau tidak salah tidak dianggap sebagai
trojan/virus, at least di mcafee. entah kalau memang benar di symantec
dianggap virus.

Saya pernah coba pakai Proxy, untuk internet semua lancar.
Tetapi masalah dengan YM, pakai CCproxy Socknya kok nggak jalan ya. Jadinya 
YM nggak bisa.

CCproxy kok tidak ada pilihan kalau mau pakai 2 Lancard ya.
Jadi baik ke Internet dan ke Lokal jadi satu.
Apakah ini tidak akanberpengaruh terhadap kecepatan ?
Mungkin ada yang bisa bantu ?

Kebetulan saya ada menginstall peta jakarta versi updated'03 di PC saya

pertama, copy dulu isi cd ke HD
file-file yang saya copi ke komputer saya :
mdaemon.exe
mdaemon installernya
peta-jkt.ccd
peta-jkt.img
peta-jkt.sub

kemudian instal mdaemon nya dulu dari HD
sehabis diinstall, akan muncul logo kaya petir dalam cd di tray icon,
berwarna merah

klik kanan di tray icon itu, pilih Emulation - All Options ON
iconnya akan berubah menjadi hijau

klik kanan lagi, pilih Virtual CD/DVD ROM - Device 0 - Mount Image
akan muncul kotak dialog untuk memilih file
pilih file Peta-Jkt.ccd yang merupakan hasil copian di HD, jangan yang di
CD.
dengan demikian, setiap kali dijalankan, Daemon tidak akan mencari ke CD ROM

sesudah di mount, program peta jakarta akan otomatis dijalankan.

lain kali jika hendak menjalankan peta jakarta, dapat melalui windows
explorer
di sana akan muncul drive CD-ROM baru
cukup pilih StartMe.exe

Rekans,
Kebetulan saya jg install ini program di kompie saya, dan berjalan dengan
sukses :)
Saya beri clue-nya kira-kira seperti ini:
- program map of jakarta sudah pernah di-install di komputer (waktu itu saya
tidak tahu klo itu versi demo atau apalah; jadi setelah expired yah tidak
bisa dipakai lagi)
- ada folder yg terbentuk krn proses installasi namanya "map of jakarta" -->
coba cek di hard disk anda
- install virtual cd 5 (yg saya pakai v.5.0.4 --> plus di "kopi tubruk")
- jalankan cd management dari menu virtual cd-nya
- jalankan menu "search" u/ mencari virtual cd yg sdh di-install --> larikan
ke folder "map of jakarta"
- system akan mencari scr otomatis dan ketemu file virtual cd dari map of
jakarta tsb
- jalankan menu "insert" maka otomatis "map of jakarta" tsb akan menjadi
sebuah drive yg baru dan bisa digunakan tanpa menggunakan cd-nya

Gak juga kok, Pak. Dulu saya bikin file mds nya pake CD Writer External SCSI HP.
File mds itu yg akhirnya "disebarluaskan"  ke beberapa PC teman yg butuh :P

Untuk proteksi-nya emang agak unik, karena beberaps software virtual
CD (image maker) selain Alcohol tidak bisa membuat image CD tsb.
Setting di Alcohol pun bukan pakai option standar, ada beberapa option
yg dirubah sedikit.

Kalau susah yaa.. beli CD-nya aja. Skr toh banyak yg jual software cuma 5k :)
