Re: Not able to run web app in TIZEN 3.0 emulator.

2014-03-11 Thread karthik karthik
The error you had pointed out only happens when I launch the app from ANSICON
shell.

When I do the same series of command on the wayland terminal on the emulator,
there doesn't throw up..

But the application is still not showing up on the emulator.

I tried the command on another installation of the TIZEN IVI sdk on another
windows machine.

The results remain same.

I don't know if it is related or not but we have had a lot of failures with
builds since March 7 that we did not see in the March 5 daily release. So it
might be worth your time to try the March 5 daily until we see the daily QA

Tizen initialization scripts?

2014-03-11 Thread Hanchett, Paul
On startup I need to initialize the CAN bus speed to 128Kbis/sec.

I've tried adding scripts to rc.d, but if my script is running it has no
effect. I can run it by hand and it works.

How do I get a script to run at boot up?

TIA for any help!

Can you share your ~/.ssh/config file with us so we can double-check it?

I can succesfully connect using the following entry in my config file:
Host tizen review.tizen.org
  Hostname review.tizen.org
  IdentityFile ~/.ssh/id_rsa
  ProxyCommand nc -X5 -x : %h %p
  User gvancuts
  Port 29418

Here is the output looks like:
$ ssh tizen

  Welcome to Gerrit Code Review

Hi Geoffroy Van Cutsem, you have successfully connected over SSH.

  Unfortunately, interactive shells are disabled.
To clone a hosted Git repository, use:

  git clone ssh://gvanc...@review.tizen.org:29418/REPOSITORY_NAME.git

Check if weston is running using something like ps or systemctl. If it's
not running, and weston, weston-ivi and weston-ivi-config (optional) are
installed, check the journal (e.g. journalctl -b) for log output from
weston or weston-launch that might give you an idea of what failed.

Problem cloning Tizen source

2014-03-11 Thread Olivier Delbeke

Hi,

I have trouble to clone the Tizen (IVI) source. I'm using the "developer
guide" on source.tizen.org and I executed all steps as described.

Problem 1 : ssh does not work (timeout when I try "ssh tizen"). I
successfully generated a public/private key pair, uploaded the public key
to review.tizen.org and configured my ssh as explained. But I can't get an
SSH connection. According to our ICT department, they are not the ones
blocking the port. I repeated all the steps several times, but I always
get the same result. Any idea ?

Problem 2 : Because SSH does not work, I decided to use HTTPS instead. The
"repo init ..." step works, but the "repo sync" fails at 99% (how
frustrating!). The reason seems to be the size of the git objects of
webkit-efl that exceed 1 GB :
fatal: The remote end hung up unexpectedly 1.00 GiB | 2.14 MiB/s
  fatal: early EOF
fatal: recursion detected in die handler
  error: Cannot fetch platform/framework/web/webkit-efl
error: Exited sync due to fetch errors

Is this limit on the server size ? Any way to bypass this ?

Thanks a lot,

Hi,

It seems there're problems with your guest environment, this output:

> ERR<2258>:elementary elm_config.c:2219 _elm_config_sub_init() Cannot connect

is not supposed to be there. Have you modified any startup scripts ? Or m.b.
you've force-installed some package
that somehow broke things... I suggest creating new emulator instance with
fresh image and try again.

Re: Not able to run web app in TIZEN 3.0 emulator.

2014-03-11 Thread Stanislav Vorobiov
Hi,

Try the following, log in as root and run:

wrt-installer -un GV3ySIINq7.GhostCluster

then:

wrt-installer -i /opt/usr/apps/.preinstallWidgets/GhostCluster.wgt

then login as "app" and run GhostCluster

Hi,

I start the emulator in the ide using emulator manager button in the connection
manager..

Once I see the emulator screen, I right click on the emulator and select
“Shell” from menu that pops up.

This opens a windows with name ”ansicon.exe”

The command I enter into the window are below

2014-03-11 Thread Stanislav Vorobiov
Hi,

I think your issue has nothing to do with emulator itself, it's probably the
guest problem.
Could you please post the output of "wrt-launcher -l" and how exactly do you
run "wrt-launcher -s app-name" ?

Hi,

I looked at security profile page in the IDE.
The certificate is created. I think I reported it wrongly in the mail.

Is there any log report file that takes the log for emulator I can assist you
with..

Thanks,
Karthik

There is no need to generate certificate file when run on simulator, only
needed when in emulator.
See
https://developer.tizen.org/dev-guide/2.2.1/org.tizen.gettingstarted/html/dev_env/certificate_generator.htm
And set it in IDE’s Preferences.

Hi Jun,

While running the app as a TIZEN WEB SIMULATOR application, I am able to see
the ghost cluster.

While I build the app, it asked me to create a certificate file. I created it.
After that only I was to see the app on browser..

Should I create a separate certificate file for TIZEN WEB APPLICATIONS to be
seen on the emulator.

Thanks,
Karthik

Have you generate the certification file before run the application?

Thanks for the reply,

I have installed the TIZEN IVI SDK 3.0 ALPHA version. Emulator came along with
sdk..

I am trying to launch the web apps that came with the sdk namely ghost cluster
app.

I am able to see it on the web simulator application but not able to run on the
emulator.

I am not seeing any error messages.

Thanks,
Karthik

Could you give us more details on the failure:
- Do you see any error message?
- What version of the emulator are you using?
- What web app are you trying to launch?

Thanks,
Geoffroy
