Does anybody know if the problem where JAWS 8 would get confused on Web Pages with form fields -- this was on a Windows 2000 system and using IE 6 -- has been corrected? I just placed a clock on the home page which is not a big deal but it will give you the correct time and date. What I would like if somebody who is not in the eastern time zone to visit the page and let me know their findings. David, It appears that your little script is reporting for the time zone of the PC accessing the web page. However, if you stay on the page beyond the initial minute that doesn't get reported, I found it necessary to refresh the page to get the time updated from 8:18 to 8:19. [JAWS-Users] Internet Explorer Configuration file
I am running Jaws 8.0.1177 and when I launch the Configuration Manager for Internet Explorer the file name showing on the title bar is Internet Explorer.jcf. When I use the Explore Settings option for Jaws 8 though, I find no such file listed in the enu folder. Anyone got any ideas? Is there a way to set Outlook Express so that when you click on a message in the message list view, you automatically then just start reading the body of that message and don't hear the header info? [JAWS-Users] problem with J8.0.2107 and outlook express
Hello, I just executed the automatic update to 8.0.2107. When I tried to use outlook express I get an error when trying to create a new message or forwarding a message. When I enter control N I get an error unknown script to new and a similar error message when attempting a forward. I called support and was told to download the version and run that file because something became corrupted. I was told that when I would run this file I would get a message stating that a version exists and I should select the repair option. I was not presented with that choice. I was instructed to go to add/remove and remove the program. After I removed the 8.0 I ran the setup again. Well I still have the same problem.
