Hello Victoria,
When you open the letter just press the number 1 and jaws will say a few
words and continue reading the letter.

[JAWS-Users] problem with jaws reading lists

2007-05-11 Thread Mike Meaney
Hello Everyone
I am using Jaws 8 and when I tried to read my program list jaws just read the
first item and then went silent. Is there a reason for this?
And how will I solve the problem?

[JAWS-Users] lost contact with group,

2007-05-11 Thread Mike Meaney
Hello there,
I sent a letter to the group yest3erday, unfortunately I sent it to the wrong
address first and they sent me back a note telling me I was already a member.
Then I sent it to the list and since I have not had a Jaws letter, I must have
been cut off in error.
Hoping for good news,
Mike

2007-05-11 Thread Mike Meaney
Yes John,
I've tried everything, I've heard there are a lot of bugs in 8, but this is the
first one I've come upon,
Any other ideas would be welcome,
Mike

When you did that did you try the up or down arrows?
Some people think if you open something or a program that jaws will read it
automatically .
Another thing did you try to rebooting, sometimes if you make any changes it
takes places after rebooting.

  PEACE

[JAWS-Users] Re: problem with jaws reading lists

2007-05-14 Thread Mike Meaney

Hello Denny,
I tried all that without any luck. But I wouldn't give in so I went to the
program files and pressed enter to open with the same result. Then I tried
alt left arrow and it came out of the program files, so I pressed alt right
arrow and it went back into them, and would you believe it it read
everything. You learn something new every day. all is well, thank you.
