[JAWS-Users] Re: winamp problems
hello, Tammy; I was just thinking, do you have the classic skin? perhaps, somehow, it got changed to the modern skin? the classic skin, works much better with jaws. 1, open winamp, 2, ctrl+P for preferences. 3, press the letter C until you hear, classic or modern skins, you should hear, classic skins, 1 of 2. if it says modern up-arrow, until you hear classic, then tab ok. or? perhaps you could try to reinstall the program? - Original Message - From: tammy cantrell [EMAIL PROTECTED] To: jaws-users-list@googlegroups.com Sent: Thursday, December 28, 2006 3:03 PM Subject: [JAWS-Users] Re: Last question for the night Yes - Original Message - From: Walt Smith [EMAIL PROTECTED] To: jaws-users-list@googlegroups.com Sent: Thursday, December 28, 2006 1:49 PM Subject: [JAWS-Users] Re: Last question for the night Did you follow David's instructions while you had WinAmp open and were in the WinAmp main window? When I enter it plays. I don't get to say perform the same action every time. I'm using 5.32. And I looked in file types and didn't see what you were talking about. I did see something about show winamp in context folder in windows exp. and that is checked. Try checking this: 1. In WinAmp preferences, go to the file types. 2. tab until you come to setup directory context menus, and make sure it is checked. 3. Save your settings, and exit WinAmp. 4. Now, go to the folder where your audio files are, and place your cursor on one. 5. Next, open the file, or context menu, and see if Winamp appears in the menu. Tammy, Load the music you want in your play list and make sure you are in the play list window. You can do this by pressing control tab until you hear, play list editor. Now do a control s to save. Give your play list a title and choose the directory you want to save it in. That's all there is to it. If you want to add to the play list, you will have to open that play list and load the songs you want to add to it. Then do a control s to save and say yes to over write the current play list. Don't worry, you won't lose the songs you already have. I normally save my play list to the desk top so it is easily accessible.
