[JAWS-Users] problem with jaws on a web page

2008-05-08 Thread ryan Perdue

here's how this appears with jfw 9 demo
494 B.Curry C Fr 2 1 2 2 3 5 2 1 10 L L 100 0 0 -- -- F
f
in previous versions of jfw, there would then be a checkbox next to that
player.
  Instead, jfw 9 reads
494 B.Curry C Fr 2 1 2 2 3 5 2 1 10 L L 100 0 0 -- -- F
F a second time and then lists another player which finally has the first
checkbox after his name.
Basically, in other versions of jfw, each player is listed just once with a
checkbox directly after his name.
I'm wondering how to fix this.
The website is www.dolphinsim.com but, you have to have an account there to
see the place whare I'm talking about so sorry if my description is vague.
I just can't figure out any other way of explaining it.

It is a very powerful sound editing tool that works very well with JAWS.
Google should give you a site, I'm not sure what the url is.

[JAWS-Users] Adding New Address at amazon.com?

2008-05-08 Thread Margaret Thomas
Good Afternoon All,

Could some kind soul please tell me the secret for adding a new address
for a recipient for whom I wish to have Amazon snail mail a gift card?

On the main Amazon page I click on gift cards and then on mail a
gift card when the page loads. Then, Amazon asks me to sign in and, when I
do, I get edit boxes for amount etc. Everything is fine until I get to #3
which has a choice of a combo box of addresses I've previously sent gifts to
or what is supposed to be a button for enter a new address.Nothing I've
tried has worked to add the new address. I tried going to Manage Your
Address Book and adding the new recipient that way, but, while I believe
I've correctly followed the steps, the new address isn't added to the
address book.

I looked at help for gift cards, managing your address book, using your
account, and anything else that looks promising and am not finding anything
useful.

I've tried it with JAWS 7.1 and 8 and I'm running XP Home and IE 7.

Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Margaret

Hi Becky,
Under the view menu, in Outlook Express,
look at the layout option, and see if contacts are checked.
If so, uncheck it and see if that helps.

I've only noticed one change since I installed Service Pac 3. In Outlook

focus to the addressbook.

na dude, there shouldn't be any issues. Unless some hardware change like PCI
soundcards etc may cost ya an activation from jfw.

  regards to service pack 3?
I've got the link here, but I wanted to see what others experiences

[JAWS-Users] JAWS 9 and Service Pack 3

2008-05-08 Thread Becky Buckner
I've only noticed one change since I installed Service Pac 3. In Outlook
Express, when JAWS finishes reading my last email message, it jumps its
focus to the addressbook.

[JAWS-Users] Addressing envelopes within excel.

2008-05-08 Thread Reese
Hi list:

Can someone please explain how to address envelopes within Excel 2003? My
spread sheet goes from column 1 to column 6.

I have know problems addressing envelopes within word. However, this means
I have to manually type the addresses in and that is getting to be very time
consuming. Thanks in advance.

Re: [JAWS-Users] service pack 3

2008-05-08 Thread Victor Gouveia
Hi Chris,

So far, I haven't seen any compatibility issues with SP3 and Jaws.

I don't really know what updates above and beyond the ones I already had
were, but I really don't notice any difference in the way my computer is
functioning.

In other words, so far so good. Smile.
