2011-04-05 Thread Tim Appleby
It works with JAWS 10, 11 and 12 quite nicely, it should also work with
earlier versions as well, I just helped my girlfriend update her Webvisum.
She was having trouble so, I did a tandem session with her, since then, it
worked.

I hope this information is helpful.

Ha, I saw that tupdate the other day, but didn't' realize that it was for
FF4 compatibility. Can anyone confirm if it also works with JFW 12 and not
just Window Eyes?

This was one of the big issues for not upgrading to 4.0, but if it's in fact
resolved, then is there any other compatibility/accessibility issue that may
give pause to upgrading?

I've been holding off on upgrading because of the broken add-on and I
believe there were problems with some keystrokes, but can't recall right now
what they were.

It has nothing to do with the operating system in the terms of XP, Vista, or

Windows 7.

Maximum memory is determined by whether you have a 32-bit or 64-bit system
architecture. My guess is you have 32-bit because I think I've only seen
64-bit versions of XP in the Pro series. You can get Vista or Win 7 home
editions with 64-bit systems.

The maximum memory in a 32-bit system is calculated as 2 times the 32nd
power minus 1. You are basically limited to 4 GB, although in practicality,

Windows won't recognize more than about 3.5GB. 64-bit systems are almost
unlimited, I've seen 16GB and I am sure you could theoretically get more but

don't know of any that have any more than that.
