2011-12-25 Thread David Ferrin
From Patty and I we wish to extend a blessed and happy Christmas along with
a healthy, happy and prosperous new year.

We keep scratching on the door of 600 members and I feel certain that in the
new year we'll hit it and then some. Thanks to Bob who has been with me for
the entire 6 years I've been doing this list and to Rick who joined up not
long after we got rolling. I couldn't do it without you guys, the fact is I
wouldn't even try.

Honestly it never crossed my mind back then that we would still be doing
this well in to the seventh year already.

[JAWS-Users] Skype Question.

2011-12-25 Thread Williamson, T.

Hello,
I have a friend who uses skype 3.8.
She says that when she arrow down through her contacts list, she is
receiving the following message:

And unknown call to function.
What does that means?
And how do you get rid of it?
Thanks for any help.

Re: [JAWS-Users] Skype Question.

2011-12-25 Thread Doris and Chris
This is related to her jaws version. It is either caused by running a
jaws script version not matching the jaws version being used or by
scripts not appropriate for the skype version used.

With focus on the main skype window, try recompiling the scripts.
(ctrl+shift+c - if things haven't changed too much)or jawskey+NumRow0
and then ctrl+s to recompile while focused on the skype window.

also while focused on the skype window, do a jawskey+q to find out
the script version she is running. for skype 3.8, it should be revision 653b.

If she is running jaws 13, the installer for the skype scripts might
not work correctly from what i heard some people say. Get the zip
archive of the appropriate scripts and install and recompile them manually.

[JAWS-Users] Attachments in Windows Live Mail 2011

2011-12-25 Thread Joni Colver

Hello,

I just started using this email program. I asked a friend to attach
something to a message so I could see if JAWS identified the attachment. I
was able to save the attachment, but JAWS gave no indication it was present.
I have attachments checked in one of the options in the view ribbon. The
ribbons are new to me so am still learning to work with them. Does JAWS
indicate there is an attachment in this email program? Do I need to check
or uncheck an option somewhere for JAWS to do this? I am using JAWS 13.
Thanks.
