[JAWS-Users] Another ms word question.
Hi everyone. I'm using jaws 11 and ms word 2007. Can anyone tell me how to insert acute symbols on to vowels such as A acute etc? When I hold down the alt key and press the appropriate letter, I get a completely different response such as language in use when I press alt A or overtype when I press Alt I. Thanks in advance Damien. For answers to frequently asked questions about this list visit: http://www.jaws-users.com/help/

Damien, Check which keyboard layout you are using. Press alt+shift keys to navigate between them, until you come to United Kingdom or irish. For the acute accents, you would use alt+ctrl+vowel. For the grave accents, which the broad irish vowels are, you would add shift to alt and control keys; thus alt+ctrl+shift+a for Á, as in lÁ. - Original Message - From: Damien O'Connor damienmocon...@eircom.net To: jaws-users-list@jaws-users.com Sent: Tuesday, March 06, 2012 8:18 AM Subject: [JAWS-Users] Another ms word question.
