Re: [JAWS-Users] outlook express email

2012-04-07 Thread Melissa Tucker
I've never seen that message and have used outlook express for years. You
might have to delete your settings and redo them again. Would be
interesting to see what someone else on the list thinks about this. take
care.

Hey, Gang,
I got a problem. I know we all do, smiles.
I'm running XP, jaws 13, IE 8.
When I send an email it says
HTML/mid//095/
and it puts it in this wierd format.
How can I get this back to normal? Please help, and thanks.

  Hi Mike, That was the way I did it. After saving the addressbook in OE, as
a
  csv file, i put it on a flash drive. i took the flash drive to my new
laptop
  and imported it based on those instructions you had. It worked like a
charm.
  I was afraid it wouldn't, going from OE to O 2010 but it was fine. Good
  luck, Karen

[JAWS-Users] Outlook Express & Outlook 2007, 2010

2012-04-07 Thread Mike & Barbara
Hi All,

I found notes for importing the address book from Outlook Express into
Outlook 2007. Can the same steps be used for importing the OE address book
into Outlook 2010? Below are the steps:

davidwhitehead1...@cogeco.ca
Hello Mike;
 do you already have your addressbook saved as a .csv, or, a .wab file?

if so, you can;

1, open MSOutlook2007.

2, Now press, alt+f=files,
press "t"=import/export.

3, you now need to choose the action,
so use arrow key and enter on the choice which you want to make.
in this case I will assume, you have your addressbook saved.

4, you enter on,
 import from another program or file.

5. the next screen you need to choose the type of file,
I use,
Comma Separated Values (Windows) press enter.

6, the next screen is asking the name/location of the file,

then go to next.

hopefully, this will get you started.

another thing you can do is,
when your in MSOutlook2007,
you press alt+f/t
you could choose,
import mail&addresses.

hope this helps.
David

Thanks much, take care.
Mike
