[JAWS-Users] jaws tandam with windows 7 UAC screen!
Hi All, Has anyone got any tips for getting past the UAC screen on remote PC when using jaws tandam. I have tried using the Alt + Y to accept what I am doing for example installing software on another persons computer but everything seems to lock up and I get no response. My only way around it was to contact the person whose computer I am trying to work on and get them there to choose the Yes button and only then can I regain control. That seems to be the nature of the beast my friend. My thought is because it has something to do with the operating system itself and there is nothing we can do about it. I've done a lot of tandem sessions myself and if your mouse even freezes up then the person on the other end has to authorize you or you're sunk. Re: [JAWS-Users] jaws tandam with windows 7 UAC screen!
Hi Norman, that was indeed the case in Windows Vista, but with Windows 7 came a modification of that behaviour. It is now ALT+Y. [JAWS-Users] Can not always go back to message list in ThunderBird
I can not always go back to message list in ThunderBird email. What seems to happen is when I launch Thundrebird sometimes a message is opened and I can not use ctrl tab to get back to the message list. ThunderBird will switch to a new message. If I reboot the computer sometimes the problem gets fixed and sometimes it doesn't. Is there a consistent method to get back to the message list once a message has been opened? Also, how do I stop ThunderBird from announcing misspelled while reviewing a message I wrote? For answers to frequently asked questions about this list visit: http://www.jaws-users.com/help/

Re: [JAWS-Users] classic shell was JFW 13.0.718 and Windows 7 64 bit version
Hi, I just installed this classic shell thing to see what the excitement was all about. I like it but I need one clarification. In the readme it says the following: 2) Open a new Windows Explorer window 3) Make sure the toolbar is hidden (if you uninstall while the toolbar is visible, the menu bar in Explorer will get stuck in the visible state and you won't be able to hide it) How do I do number 3? Will I need to have classic shell running while doing this or does it matter? Thanks. For answers to frequently asked questions about this list visit: http://www.jaws-users.com/help/
