hello Greg;

try the following;

1, alt+f=file,

2, up arrow to options press enter,

3, down arrow to search

4, now tab and check the box,
select all folders,
now, okay, and, okay,
hope this helps.

David,
As usual, thank you very much for your helpful information. Part of my
problem is that I have created many subfolders under in box and some of
those subfolders have subfolders as well. If I know the subfolder the
message I'm looking for is in your instructions work perfectly. However if
I don't know the subfolder the message is in I'm still having problems. It
was so much simpler to search in Outlook Express and in WLM.

Hello there;
This may help some using outlook 2007&2010;

Using Find In MSOutlook2007&2010 Using Jaws Locating All Messages By One
Sender:
This will work in any mailbox E.g., in-box, sent-box etc.
1. Press ctrl+shift+the letter "f"=advance-find.
2. Tab three times=fromedit.
3. Type in a sender's first or last name.
4. Press enter.
5. Press the f6key and you are put into the list of messages by the sender
you searched for.
6. If you open a message to read it, press escape once to close it. Then
move to the next one to read.
7. If you open a message to read and do not wish to read any more, press
escape twice and you are placed back in to the original location were the
search was started. This means if you were in the in-box when starting the
search, pressing escape twice will return you back to the in-box. Pressing
escape once will only return you to the list of messages found in the
search.

***

II. Searching For A Specific Topic In A Subject Field:
1. Press ctrl+shift+the letter "f".

 2. Type a word that would be found in the subject line you are searching
for.

3. Press enter.

4. Press f6 and you are put into the list of messages containing the subject
line searched for.

5. If you open a message to read it, press escape once to close it. Then
move to the next one to read.

6. If you open a message to read and do not wish to read any more, press
escape twice and you are placed back in to the original location were the
search was started. This means if you were in the in-box when starting the
search, pressing escape twice will return you back to the in-box. Pressing
escape once will only return you to the list of messages found in the
search.

another way to do this is,

example,
within the inbox,
ctrl+e= edit search,
now type in the search word,

now, shift+tab twice,
you will see the list of messages pertaining to the search criteria

hope this helps.

Steve,
If you have java installed, press windows u. then tab to where it says use a
computer without a display. Press enter. You should see a checkbox that says,
"enable access bridge". Check it and press ok. After all that is done, restart
your computer and it should be setup. Make sure you have a current version of

There is no installer, you just have to copy files from the extracted package

[JAWS-Users] JAVA Access Bridge

2012-12-21 Thread Hicks Steven (CORNWALL IT SERVICES)
Dear all,

I need to install the JAVA Access bridge on my Microsoft Windows 7 64 bit
system, is anyone able to help please?
I have downloaded and extracted the package from the web site with no problems,
it is just confusing as to which files you need to copy where. There is no
installer, you just have to copy files from the extracted package to the
c:\Program files\JAVA\JRE71 folder.

Any help much appreciated.

Steve.

Greg.
Sorry, I gave you the command for searching for a word when in the body of
an email.
Control E puts me right in the search edit field.
When I tab once, I am on a button for options, and there I can choose to
search all mail items.
Then I'm back in the edit field, where I put in my search word.
When I put in, Greg, I come up with lots of results.

2012-12-21 Thread Greg Washington
David,
As usual, thank you very much for your helpful information. Part of my
problem is that I have created many subfolders under in box and some of
those subfolders have subfolders as well. If I know the subfolder the
message I'm looking for is in your instructions work perfectly. However if
I don't know the subfolder the message is in I'm still having problems. It
was so much simpler to search in Outlook Express and in WLM.

Hi, your video driver is there it is just that JFW is not picking it up.
Now
since this is happening you will need to use another screen reader to help
you out . So you can use NVDA or Narrator to help you out. You need to
click
on JFW14 on your desktop and then go to utilities and then video intercept
manager and pick a video . Since JFW does not have a video driver yet it
more than likely is not speaking or at least not very much. So this is
where
the other screen reader comes in handy. Another way is to try to do a JFW
repair or just uninstall JFW and try reinstalling it and see if it picks
up
the video. Also If you do a repair I would restart the PC before trying
the
uninstall and see if JFW works like it is supposed to. Then if it does not
you can do a uninstall and then restart the PC after that and then
reinstall
and then after the reinstall restart the PC and then see what happens. If
none of this works you will need to contact FS and get help. HTH
