Re: [JAWS-Users] revo uninstaller pro with JAWS
Hi, yes, u can use it with jaws, but u need to use the root jaws to pc curcer, and set the view of the programs as a list via left clicking (view) then (list) so yo can after that go around your installed via the normal way and when you want to uninstall any of them just focus on it and root jaws to pc, go to the top via ctrl+home key and keep pressing on the ctrl key and via arro keys find (uninstall) and from there it would be more easyer to finish the job, other way to use it: go to the directory of the installed program or software, like c\program files\etc and and press the applacation key on the wanted folder of and choose the uninstall with revo uninstaller, and u need to know if a program asks for reboot the system skip it and finish the scan and remove the files then do the reboot, after all its a verrey good program if u know what you are doing cince it needs a some how an advanced pc user, and a good user of jaws curcers, take care. Hi Joe, I purchased Revo Pro about 6 months ago, thinking that since the free version worked so well that the Pro version would be really good! Man, was I wrong! What I found was Revo Pro to be totally inaccessible but, their company didn't hesitate in the least bit when it came to refunding my money. I did let them know about the difference between the 2 versions asked them why 1 version could be so accessible the other, a total piece of sh*t! I didn't get a reply! Re: [JAWS-Users] combo boxes
Hello Suey, What I have tried in the past is activating the combo box with an alt down arrow. Then I activated the jaws cursor, routed the jaws cursor to pc cursor. Then went down the list with jaws until I found the item I wanted then routed the pc to jaws. If you know the first letter of the item in the box and there are not others with the same first letter you can enter the box and press the first letter. I hope this helps! I know this is a pain. Re: [JAWS-Users] combo boxes
Use alt down arrow, but you should be able to just use the virtual pc cursor without routing jaws to it. If that does not work, route jaws to it and try arrowing down, but on the internet, or in any combo box, you should just be able to press alt down arrow and then arrow up and down through the list. -Original Message- From: JAWS-Users-List [mailto:jaws-users-list-boun...@jaws-users.com] On Behalf Of Suey Sent: Friday, February 22, 2013 12:14 PM To: jaws-users-list@jaws-users.com Subject: [JAWS-Users] combo boxes Can anybody help me with a combo box problem? Re: [JAWS-Users] combo boxes
Hello Flor, Yes, this is true most of the time, but now an then I have run across combo boxes that when opened if you arrow down it activates the selected item. I think it is because the developer thought it a good idea to have quick response to a sighted persons mouse click. So, if a normal alt down arrow then down arrowing through the list works great! If not, the jaws cursor can navidgate without selecting an item in the list. Re: [JAWS-Users] Solid State Drive Migration Tools
What I did was simply reload the drive as demonstrated in my second tutorial. Note this is a bit easier with a drive that is larger but what it does do is make the entire drive beyond the system partition un-allocated and then you have to use something like partition assistant to allocate the remainder of the drive's space. It's been quite some time since I loaded an image on to a smaller drive so for that I will need to check my notes. So on a 500 GB which is actually 465 GB it created a 35 GB system partition and then I allocated the rest as a data drive of 430 GB.
