Re: [JAWS-Users] saving attachments in thunder bird

2013-03-23 Thread adam morris

Hi Leonard,

Not sure if I am missunderstanding your message.

In thunderbird you have to go into the message first before you can see
the attachments option in the file menu for saving an attachment that
has been sent to you.

I highlight the message and use the file menu I can not locate save

message is open also but no go. I don't recall having to open the
message to save the attachment in the past.

[JAWS-Users] tagging on facebook

2013-03-23 Thread Kimsan
Hi,

Does anyone know how to tag a friend on facebook?

I use to be able to type the @ sign followed by a name and it worked. Now,
that no longer works.

Thanks.

I'm at a point where I have to decide whether to upgrade my Eset anti-virus
to their full blown security package or to opt for the free download of
McAfee from my ISP. Cost isn't the point, usability with JAWS is the
deciding factor.

I know some security packages don't work at all and some see JAWS as an
intruder. Its my hope, given how important our security is nowadays - that
JAWS is working with some of the market leaders by now.

Re: [JAWS-Users] Office 2010 verses 2007

2013-03-23 Thread Melissa
Yes, the major difference is the ribbon. It operates in essentially the
same way as the Menu bar, but instead of having 7 major menus across the top
in a row, there is a different layout to them.
It sounds like you have prior experience with these ribbons, so I won't bore
you with the details unless you ask.
All the hot keys you have learned from previous versions of Office still
work, though I believe there are some new ones added Other than this, there
are no significant differences, at least as far as direct operation is
concerned.
I have been using Office 2010 for about 4 years now, and I have no
complaints.
If you can think of specific questions, I'd be glad to answer them for you.
Kindly,
Melissa

If I remember correctly, Outlook 2010 and I.E.8 will have a ribbon similar
to what you have seen in Word and Excel. Some items have moved around on
the ribbons. I'm sure there are other things, so hopefully others will
chime in.
