[JAWS-Users] JAWS 12 is not reading correctly

2014-01-03 Thread Liuda Balcius
I use Win. 7 and Outlook 2010. As I type, JAWS reads words perfectly as I
configured. I can use the up and down arrow to read sentences. However, when
I use control plus right or left arrow to read letters or words, it is
silent and will not read. This is extremely annoying and impossible to make
corrections as I proceed. The spell checker works okay.

What could be causing the problem and how can I fix it to read normally
like it always did.

   Thank you for all help.

I am sorry but I need to write a post script to this message to better
explain the problem in other ways.

This exact same problem exists in Word 2010 as well. It is not only in
writing e-mail messages, but also when reading them which I have received,
the control plus right and left arrow do not work. Reading Headers, fields,
everything works perfectly, however.

Hope this help you better to help me.

Thank you very much.

Go to the settings by pressing insert V.
There should be an option for it to either be silent or speak when you go by
letter or word like that.

Could someone else's key have accidently or intentionally been installed at
some point?
I can tell you that if that has ever happened, sometimes, it rears it's
other ILM number and no matter how many times you delete and put in the
correct one, it seems to never go away entirely.

I just updated my SMA as of Monday, so come Jan 1, I am going into the 40
min mode. Then I get a pop up and another ILM number is in the edit field,
so by now, I am an expert at this. I delete that one and put in mine and so
far so good.
How about calling FS and hear them say..we cannot locate your serial number,
then they do after my long explaination of why another number is showing, my
laptop is possessed!

9authorizations on Windows 7

Hi

Ever since I had to replace my hard drive on a Windows 7 64-bit system with
a Seagate 4TB drive, I have been having problems running JAWS 14 or15 and
OpenBook authorized. After burning through a few authorization keys, I
finally determined that immediately after I boot the Windows 7 system, the
about dialogs show a locking code for both products but neither will start
authorized and have to be run in demo mode. But about 5 minutes later, the
about dialogs show a different locking code for both JAWS and OpenBook 9.
Then I can start either product and authorize it and it can be run or
restarted authorized until I re-boot. FS support tells me that I just have
to live with this situation. They say it's due to some hardware driver.
There have been no hardware changes to this computer since the new hard
drive was installed. Any guesses as to what could be done about this?

Also I noticed that JAWS and OpenBook 9 have the same locking code on a
Windows XP machine, but on my Windows 7 machine, they have different locking
codes, both in the first 5 minutes after booting and later when they can run
authorized. Is this something normal for Windows 7?

Also after I had authorized JAWS 5 minutes or later after rebooting the
computer, it appears that my JAWS authorization disappeared from the
computer a few days later. The ILM viewer for JAWS said no JAWS
authorization could be found. Other than the option to remove product
activation, (which I did not do), is there any other situation that can
completely remove the JAWS activation?

Thanks.

[JAWS-Users] Revisiting Jaws 15 bug with not reading unread messages count in Outlook

2014-01-03 Thread Cristóbal
Hello list,

An update to the bug I brought up shortly before the holiday regarding the
new JFW 15 release and a problem where Jaws was no longer reading the unread
messages count in Outlook folders.

I was contacted by FS earlier this morning to let me know that they were
indeed able to reproduce this particular issue and will be working on a fix
in a future update. Standard caveats of no guaranty on a timeline or if
it’ll be included in the next JFW update apply…

The only work around for now though not completely satisfactory is the
control+y command.

Anyway, as others also mentioned that they were also experiencing this quite
annoying issue, I thought I’d let folks know that FS did get back to me and
that they said that they’d at least be working on it.

[JAWS-Users] Amazon music pages

2014-01-03 Thread rhs
Hi,

Used to be that on Amazon pages showing the songs on an album that the songs
would be formatted into a table with the link to listen to a sample, the song,
etc. as the colums. A while back this changed so that the same information is
part of a list and not a table. Is there a way to get Jaws to read it as a
table? I am running Windows 7, IE11, and JFW 15.

Thanks

I didn't care about the third party download from CNET.

I was thinking to buy my wife the Pro version.

My wife is not blind, but I gave her an extra Sony laptop that I was not

I will download the trial Pro and then buy it at a later date.

 Hi George and all,

To download the most current version of Malwarebytes please click for access
 to my Dropbox folder:

You can also simply click on the following link and download for yourselves.
 Malwarebytes Anti-Malware Free:

When the webpage loads simply press the #1 on the number row 4 times to find
the following level 1 heading: Free. Press enter on the Download now
link right under this heading. You will be taken to a page with the
following title: Malwarebytes Anti-Malware - CNET Download.com. Simply down
 arrow to the following text:
Welcome Malwarebytes Anti-Malware users. To complete your download, click on
 the link below:
 Combo box English
 Download now link
Note: the actual file you will be downloading is named
 mbam-setup-1.75.0.1300.exe.

 Product Ranking:#1 in Anti-Spyware
 Version:1.75
 Total Downloads:121,439,617
 Date Added:April 09, 2013

I just completed this downloading process and it is safe. Smile.

Don't forget that This is the free version, so if you want to make sure it
stays the free version, when installing, you might be asked if you want to
try the Pro version. I say go ahead and try it, because if you don't want to
pay for it, the Malwarebytes Pro version will revert to a 15-day trial
anyways. If you don't want to bother with the Pro version then simply choose
 the free version.

Let me know if you have any problems or further questions! Smile.
