[JAWS-Users] Sending a New Message to a Specific Contact In Outlook 2007
I normally use Outlook Express as my email client, but I have begun fooling around with Outlook 2007, which is already installed and configured on my XP system in case I decide to use it on a new computer when I eventually buy one. In Outlook Express, when I want to send a new message to a specific contact in my Address Book, such as the JAWS Users list, I simply tab to the Address Book from the In Box, scroll down to JAWS Users, and hit enter on it which opens a new message withthe the address of the JAWS Users list automatically placed into the To field. But in Outlook 2007, if I go to the Address Book and scroll down to JAWS Users and hit Enter, nothing happens. The Address Book does not seem to be linked to the In Box, as it is in Outlook Express. So at the risk of asking a stupid question, how do you open a new message in Outlook 2007 and place the address of a specific contact from the Address Book into the to field? Is there an easy way to do this, or must I first g o to my Address Book, locate and copy the email address of the contact to whom I want to send a new message, and then paste it into the to field of the message? I'm sure there is an easier way , but Outlook 2007 is new to me. I'm using JAWS 9. Thanks for any help. Re: [JAWS-Users] Sending a New Message to a Specific Contact In Outlook 2007
hello there; well, if your wanting to send email from your contacts list, or, addressbook, within outlook 2007, try, ctrl+shift+b=book, now, you can either do a search for the client name, or, simply tab to the list and then arrow down to the name. much easier to search, so, first in the search edit type in recipient name, now tab you should see the name/email, now do a ctrl+n, you will land into the subjectline, with email address already entered, hope this helps. -Original Message- From: JAWS-Users-List [mailto:jaws-users-list-boun...@jaws-users.com] On Behalf Of Gerald Levy Sent: Saturday, March 1, 2014 1:19 PM To: jaws-users-list@jaws-users.com Subject: [JAWS-Users] Sending a New Message to a Specific Contact In Outlook 2007 I normally use Outlook Express as my email client, but I have begun fooling around with Outlook 2007, which is already installed and configured on my XP system in case I decide to use it on a new computer when I eventually buy one. From the way you wrote that first formula, I don't think it will work. There should be a colon rather than a space, and you're telling it to add these 3 cells rather than these 3 columns. Also, you're telling, with the second formula to add, but there's nothing to add to the cell shown. --- Be positive! Re: [JAWS-Users] 2007 Microsoft Excel Questions about formula
Hello Scott, Use the formula =sum(h2,k2,l2) There should be no spacing in the formula. You had a space after h2. A comma follows h2 and k2 but not l2. No plus signs are used in that formula. You could also just type =h2+k2+l2 again without using the word sum and with no spacing and no parentheses or commas just a plus sign between h2 and k2 and another one between k2 and l2. I am not sure what you mean with the second part of your question. You can copy the content of a cell with CTRL+C and paste it in another empty cell. I don't think that is what you are meaning though. Take care.
