Hello,

The way I do it is to open Outlook. I will be sitting with my inbox
messages sitting in front of me.
I press control+shift+e. I enter a name for my new folder. The new folder
is created under the Inbox level.
I press control+Y to go to the new folder.

Hi Dooie;

I have written a check template document as a table in MSWord. I just fill in
the payee, number amount, written amount and memo. The date is filled in from
the computer. I can print the check and sign it with a guide. If you are
interested I can send it to you as an attachment, but not on the list.
I have been using the document to write the small pocket size checks for at

Hello, David F and Eric D,
wow! Thank you both, for all this Excel Check Book information and assistance.
Yet, I may have a loaded question. Can either of you, provide a Check Writing
and printing program that works favorably and relatively easy with Jaws and
that can be printed up in a public and business accepted manner, and where No
format questions will be targeted back to a user, such as myself!

The reason I ask, is I just went through a check payment conflict with a very
notable cable company, where their computer system misread my most recent
payment check, and for the last week my cable service has been turned off, each
day at 11:45 AM; and it has been quite a battle with them, and I even had to
get my bank involved to back my payment of $100; where the cable company's
computer said I only paid $10. This is why I am asking this question; and I am
seeking Technical and quality advice, so that this situation my be avoided in
the future. To let you both know, I write my checks using a plastic check
template, and on the line for writing the dollar amount in words, I Print those
words in Capital Letters, for easy recognition, and I never have written any
check that has cents on it, as they are always written in an even dollar
amounts. Yet, this careful technique failed me, in this situation; and that is
Why I am asking such a question, to evade this from happening in the future.

Thank you both, for any and all assistance.

Respectfully

If you wouldn't mind I could go ahead and edit the HTML file to include these

Personally I only use Excel for the donations to this domain so needless to say

The enter key no longer works on the accessible youtube site when trying to

This is a Jaws problem because in an alternative screen reader I can use the
enter key to go back and forth from the next or previous ten results with no
difficulty. I am using jaws v15 and windows 7 64 bit.

few years ago I had a problem and a support person from eset was on the
phone with me for a few hours cleaning the machine. Something got into my
machine and corrupted the registry. It did not show up as a virus with any
scan. My local weather page was being directed to a porn site.
Does microsoft have similar support?

Re: [JAWS-Users] How to Delete the Word 2010 Template

2014-03-12 Thread Brian Lee
Hello Liuda,

Here are steps for trying to reset your normal template without deleting it,
followed by steps for deleting the normal template so it can be created
again when you restart your computer and launch Word again. If you have no
macros or specially created styles then you might want to just delete the
template. Otherwise you can try the first set of steps shown below to
restore the defaults.

Restoring default settings to the template:

1. Type or paste the following into the Windows start menu search box:
%appdata%\microsoft\templates
2. Find the normal.DOTM file.
3. Ppress the application key and arrow down to the Open menu item.
4. Press enter key to open the template.
5. To delete any unwanted text use CTRL+a (the select all command) and
press the delete key.
6. Press CTRL+A again and press delete key again. This deletes the ending
paragraph mark that remains after deleting unwanted text.
7. Press Ctrl+Space Bar. This sets the character formatting for the
paragraph back to its default based on the underlying style.
8. Press Ctrl+Q. This sets the paragraph formatting for the paragraph back
to its default, again based on the underlying style.
9. Save the template.
10. Restart the computer.
11. Exit and restart Word.

Deleting the Normal.DOTM file:

1. Press the Windows key and type or paste the following path into the
search box:
%appdata%\microsoft\templates
2. Find the normal.DOTM file and delete it.
3. Restart your computer to register the changed entries in the registry.
4. Open Word.
The default should be Calibri font with a size of 11 point and the normal
style being used.

I hope you get it working.

Take care.

I still cannot resolve why I cannot set my Word 2010 font to 12-point
instead of 10-point where it is today.

Can someone please give me the detailed steps in order to delete the
present template and then I can begin anew to install a correct version?

Thanks in advance for your help.

Hi Dooie;

I have written a check template document as a table in MSWord. I just fill
in the payee, number amount, written amount and memo. The date is filled in
from the computer. I can print the check and sign it with a guide. If you
are interested I can send it to you as an attachment, but not on the list.
I have been using the document to write the small pocket size checks for at
least 10 years.

Hello, David F and Eric D,
wow! Thank you both, for all this Excel Check Book information and
assistance. Yet, I may have a loaded question. Can either of you, provide
a Check Writing and printing program that works favorably and relatively
easy with Jaws and that can be printed up in a public and business accepted
manner, and where No format questions will be targeted back to a user, such
as myself!

The reason I ask, is I just went through a check payment conflict with a
very notable cable company, where their computer system misread my most
recent payment check, and for the last week my cable service has been turned
off, each day at 11:45 AM; and it has been quite a battle with them, and I
even had to get my bank involved to back my payment of $100; where the cable
company's computer said I only paid $10. This is why I am asking this
question; and I am seeking Technical and quality advice, so that this
situation my be avoided in the future. To let you both know, I write my
checks using a plastic check template, and on the line for writing the
dollar amount in words, I Print those words in Capital Letters, for easy
recognition, and I never have written any check that has cents on it, as
they are always written in an even dollar amounts. Yet, this careful
technique failed me, in this situation; and that is Why I am asking such a
question, to evade this from happening in the future.

Thank you both, for any and all assistance.

Respectfully

Dooie

If you wouldn't mind I could go ahead and edit the HTML file to include
these instructions as they are more complete.

Personally I only use Excel for the donations to this domain so needless to
say I'm pretty rusty.
