Hi everyone, today I would like to ask you a question about scripting in
Jaws 14.I want ad a script to accomplish my task in D-Link Connection
Manager (the software came with my D-Link wireless modem). The main menu
of this program consist the options like connection, voice call, text
message. The program is not Jaws-friendly so my only way to axes any of
these options is to ad a script. I want to assign a shortcut key for one
of the options for instants, I would like to assign alt plus C for
connection alt plus v for voice call. Can anyone help me in this task
by providing the instructions? If I failed in this task this device will
become unusable. So any help will be greatly appreciatable.

2014-09-12 Thread David Goldfield
Hi. As I don't work for Freedom Scientific, it may be inappropriate for me to
answer this question. However, I can at least provide a reasonable guess,
based on the way we've seen FS supporting previous updates. As we get nearer
to the release of version 16, it is highly likely that we won't see any future
updates for JAWS 15. However, I remember at least one or two instances where
an update was released for an older version after the newer version was
released. FS could still release updates for 15 to fix very serious bugs and,
if any are reported, to fix security related issues. However, aside from those
scenarios I think it is likely that we won't see any more updates for 15.

Mike,

No, your information is misleading. The terms are synonymous; a wifi

Unfortunately, a WiFi signal repeater will do nothing to strengthen the
WiFi signal, it will only take a weak signal and send it farther out. I
had this problem where my computer was only about 10 ft. from my router,
and only showed to have a signal strength of 35%. I also had another
computer in a bedroom, about 30 ft away from my router, and it could not
connect at all. The remedy to this problem is to purchase a WiFi range
extender or adapter. This nifty little deal will first amplify the signal
coming from the router, and then broadcast it over a wide area, usually
around a 300 meter radius. This can also be had from Amazon, best buy or
most electronics stores. You will want one with a speed of at least 300
Mb/s, and with todays internet speeds, one with a 10/1000 transfer rate.
Some good brands are: NetGear, TP Link, Belkin, Linksys, and D-link. An
average price for one that will suffice is around $50 to $75, and you can
find them on sale in the $40 range for the lower end ones.
